Well, I've been doing international B2B worldwide for a very long time. Many JP businessman purchased goods from China and send to the Japan warehouse, so you might think its a Japanese product. What's more, even there's a 'Made in Japan' printed on the product, many of them are still made in China, Chinese factories only need to follow the order requirements. There's no cheap material in Japan since the country is so tiny, also not enough space to build big factories like CN, Vietnam or India. If you're gonna buy a product that is similar price or same outlook with Chinese product, be careful with your purchase.
I had experience buying ACTUALLY Japanese things (mostly electrical devices and home equipment) and they are INCREDIBLE, their design and ideas are way ahead of the rest of the world... and the funny thing is they only produce it for themselves...same brand that makes a product for rest of the world make a different product for Japanese users.
Japanese cars are reliable but look elsewhere for performance. The Rav 4 is particularly hideous, push the gas pedal going uphill, it just refuses to accelerate 😡🤪
@@Lululemon2023 Actually the Nissan GTR is a speed demon and is reliable. Also if you want a reliable luxury car with performance in mind, Lexus ISF, Lexus IS500, Lexus RCF, Infiniti Q50 Redsport 400, Infiniti Q60 Redsport 400, MKIV supra, R34 Skyline, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4, and Infiniti M56/Q70 5.6L.
@@davidperry4013 except for Acura the rest suck, a VW Gti beats any of the Lexus. Btw I owned two top line Lexus and they steering weren’t steady at high speed, didn’t hold to the road at corners nor responsive to accelerating on uphills. They weren’t fun to drive, they really suck.
Hi dear, I just joined Super Delivery, and found out that most of the products are Made In China and not Made in Japan. If so, then why to spend more money from Super Delivery, while same products we can get at way cheaper price from China, Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam?
Generally love your content - but this one was quite misleading (I get the Japan-o-philia, been doing business with Japan for decades). Maybe you have a stake in the success of this platform (explaining the incentive) but - to say that only 'some' of the products might not be made in Japan lacks the integrity your content is generally known for. Most of the products appear to be sourced from China - meaning - you're effectively paying more for Chinese goods - made to Chinese standards, imported into Japan - where Japanese import duties are applied, a provision/margin for the Japanese importer is then added, not to mention a further margin for the site - and that's your price. You're paying a Japanese intermediary, for goods from China, that you could import directly at a much lower cost. Most Japanese entities don't want to engage with foreign clients - for reasons you'd likely not want to cover in your videos so as not to alienate your viewer base. There are still restaurants and businesses in Japan today with signs "Japanese only" on them. Why Japan remains off limits in many ways to the rest of the world is a topic most would rather not discuss. Without doubt - Japanese quality is second to none (or second only to Japanese quality from decades passed), however - it's far from the clear-cut utopia of ethical practices, business standards, manufacturing quality, elegantly presented here. Sourcing genuine goods from Japan - requires going there - forming lasting relationships (that require months, if not years, to cement), and above all else - demonstrating your 'worthiness' of that relationship, rather than pulling out your credit card, and a platform that offers (mostly?) Chinese made goods, under the flag of "sourced from Japan".
I have no stake in this company whatsoever. And you have to realize that sourcing and making great products goes way beyond just where the materials are fabricated. To say that we are paying double is grossly false. The quality control and ingenuity is what is important here. We are generalizing an entire country here, but the quality that I've experienced from Japan is just way better. They care about reliability, packaging, everything. Whereas many factories I've worked with in China just throw something in a box and QC is always a problem
@@mywifequitherjobI second what you say. The issue here is not who makes it. Question is how good is the quality of delivered goods. And how much is the product tested at source. Chinese products in themselves are not the problem.
I think this as to do with the fact the Chinese suppliers are well awear of the fact that exporting substandard products to Japan will cost them a lot of trouble with the Chinese Government. And so will not go that route. Enhance they only ship quality if they must. There are a lot of quality goods in China, but a lot of unscrupulous dealers.
It's a very good and informative video and your idea of importing from Japan is an excellent one. But the problem is that all of the products I checked on "Super Delivery" are made in China. If you look carefully under the "Specification" they have clearly written "Country of manufacture: China"
Unfortunately they only show you this behavior because you're a tourist. If you start living in Japan it'll be hard to make friends. I have Japanese friends and i feel that most of the time they aren't there for me when i need them.
If your family experience the atrocities from the Japs during WWII. A lot of American GIs and British of that era hated them as hell. Because they were treated to hell. As for humble? Not a chance. Go dig deeper and see for yourself.
The Japanese DAISO stores here in California are “Dollar stores”, selling Japanese products but Made in China. What Japanese company can compete with that?
Japan store here in the Philippines has Japanese brands but made in China. I think it's expensive to buy authentic Japanese brands here in the Philippines and they still import to China because not all items are bad.
So I went to the website you suggested , (Both Raccoon and Superdelivery) and the items I am looking for says they were "Made in China" So correct me if I'm wrong, but all these sites are doing is buying directly from China and marking up the price for resale. I was looking for products that were Made in Japan, not a middle man for China. I would be better off price wise ordering through Alibaba! What gives here?
Honestly, a lot of small products in Japan come from China. If you find any cool stuffs in Japan, go directly to the factories in China, you can find the same quality but cheaper.
More Japanese are starting in Japan to sell on the internet. Digitaka is one of them. The YEN has fallen compared to the dollar. you can get 40 percent off due to exchange rate. Amazon Japan is also available. $44 ❤️❤️❤️
I’ve shopped from Temu about 20 times and I love their items especially their clothes! I’ve been disappointed in a few things but loved most of their things! I’ve bought quite a few shirts for my boyfriend and he loves them! I hope you’re wrong about them.
They overwork and underpay their employees (there would be lawsuits in this country if American companies did what they do), and just because something appears to be well made doesn't mean it isn't severely adulterated with something (dangerous colors, additives, raw materials, etc) that will cause health problems later. You clearly aren't keeping up with what's going on in China. There are some excellent channels that provide very useful information.
@@GL-iv4rw China insights, China in focus, China fact chasers, China insider with David Zhang, China uncensored, China news and insights, China observer, China truths, China undercover, China unscripted. I'm sure I've missed some whose name does not start with China.
Thanks for this. Was really excited about the non-sweatshop, high-quality aspect...but then went looking on their site and most of the neat products I check out were actually manufactured in China 😭
Good Japanese products might come from Chinese, the catch is quality control. If you have an office to send inspectosr to do the QC in factories. The quality could be raised above the low cost junks.
I have purchased items from Tokyo made in China. But the quality of those products are very good, as compared to same product in our country. It seemed that China supplies better quality to Japan.
I have been wanting to source from Japan for over a decade. I have spent time looking, off and on, and never found any source like this and this is what I was looking for. The only thing I would like to see is a move towards a hybrid account (dropshipping/wholesale). Hopefully someone will create that some day. But I understand why it is wholesale only. Thank you for sharing this!
I am a freight forwarder from China. If you want to import from China, you can designate us to provide you with full freight services, which will reduce more costs.
in my country especially in the 80s and 90s many goods were made in japan, what a wonderful experience that was, than chineese stuff started pouring in and though it was cheaper difference in quality was unbelievable
Hello thanks for the valuble ideas and information that my goal to start another store this year because of the shipping problems from China in 2020 I had to shut things down the quality and craftmanship seems better with the Japanese products, thanks keep the gems coming.
Thx, I'm currently not importing products, but planning for the future. Great content, thanks a lot. And the fact that China's moral compass is kinda off these days, makes a good or even better alternative even more important.
Great Video! So happy it came up on my screen. I am looking to start an online business and I agree, the quality is far better than most. I would be honored to find a product or two and support Japanese business. Arigato!
very detailed and helpful info - Thank You! I've been thinking of starting an online business but don't want to source from China, so this video came at the right time for me.
What a very interesting video. Great presentation. Certainly worth looking into. Thanks for the heads up. I live in the U.K and it looks like they would send / work with the U.K market
Thanks I've been looking for something like this for my tea company. Now I just need a way to get in touch with tea growers in Japan. I am skeptical about organic teas from China.
I want to create my company AFTER finding the product, the good thing is you can browse products beforehand, then create the company and ask for estimates
You don’t need to talk down on China to let your point go through. I have checked the site very well. Many of the products are not even made in Japan. They are produced in other Asian countries including China. I don’t know why Westerners always want to look down on others. As an African I go to China for business and the treat you good with respect, unlike the West…
You just then don't like the west ..stereotyping ain't good. In every country there are good and bad people. In china some Africans have not been treated good .. i watched Wode Maya's videos during lockdown when Africans were being thrown out of houses, hotels they rented and segregated during that corona time.... your hate for the west is very evident here.
Sometimes asian community living in western country like to belittle their ancestral country to prove they are not asian and trying to get the westerners to accept them as their own. Inferiority complex is the term.
I can't imagine how hard it would be to decide to take on a moneygetback role of scammed persons. The history needs to be remembered though and the help that was born through such pain and suffering. Mad respect to these Exelasupport that take on these roles.
I also import products from Japan. Stationery. They are very beautiful, high quality and cheap!! I sell on Etsy but as they are not handmade, Etsy doesn´t put them much in front of a lot of people!! I think that people in USA and Europe would love Japanese products!
Thank you for this content. I've been trying to get away from Chinese goods as much as possible. The toxicity in their material is getting higher and higher. I like that there are alternatives
If this is export the 14 days return policy may not be beneficial for those being delivered via sea cargo. If this is in japan do they deliberately straight to say Philippines or they can do freight forwarders like use business owners uses other couriers that has a Japan warehouse
Checked the SuperDelivery, thanks for sharing. Just a quick question. I found this info about the import and duties on the webpage. Do we need to hire a shipping broker when buying from JP and send it to the US to help us clear the shipment, or are they taking care of that and sending it directly to our warehouse? Are they sending by any chance straight to FBA? "Customs clearance procedures for exports are handled by SUPER DELIVERY-arranged carriers. For imports, customers may be subject to import tariffs, additional related expenses, and procedures. Depending on the situation, customers may need to contact carriers or customs to complete the import clearance. If payment or procedures during import customs clearance are not completed, or if local customs/carriers consider the parcels invalid or undeliverable, the parcels may be held, returned, or discarded. Customers may also be responsible for any associated costs in these cases. Regarding the above, please note that SUPER DELIVERY will not be held responsible. Thank you in advance for your understanding."
Back in the mid-20th century Japan was originally known for poor quality product and then they started losing respect and market share worldwide, and they changed and never went back. If they are also somehow managing to get Chinese products that live up to their standards and then resell those, then I would say it's worth it because they're doing the leg work for us. The hardest part is knowing just how terribly Chinese companies treat their employees, or their nearly or actual slave laborers.
CANADA MAKES GREAT PRODUCT SO DOES MEXICO, BUT THEY CHARGE ALMOST AS USA, A FRACTIONAL PRICE CHEAPER. JAPAN IS OFFERING GREAT QUALITY AND CONSITANCY, MY DAD LOVED JAPANESE PRODUCTS HE WAS AUDIOFILE
well , that is not for everybody and is not the same like Aliexpress . I have only an online store and they are asking me to summit a picture of outside of the building of my store. Aliexpress does not ask for that, you just make an account and start shopping.
Japan is strict about product quality and purchasing from overseas can be difficult. If you are looking for high quality and unique products from other wholesale market, Japan is a good choice. In addition to that, Korea also has a fashion jewelry wholesale market, which is more diverse and of better quality than China.
I follow Japanese Rugby and I love Japan I learned to make Sushi camping and diving for oysters in Stewart Island I met a Japonese camper in a remote hut three days hike from Horse shoe bay just me and him my friend had our diving equipment he brought by boat and we dived for oysters scallops Paua kina we dined like kings on free on seafood and my new Japanese friend cooked and we exchanged friendship it made his solo journey to New Zealand more enjoyable and he worked for Honda great people
I haven't found no Japan products on this website, only China, Taiwan, Vietnam. Of course, some of them are with description saying made in Japan, but hey, I don't think they bother themself manufacturing pens over there on this tiny island
This makes a lot of sense, buying from Japan instead of China....China products suck... I have an older 2005 guitar from epiphone called an Elitist Les Paul... made in Japan in the matsomuko factory ... it's better than a real Gibson Les Paul from usa...I will be getting started with this re selling soon, so glad I found your video.
it would be nice knowing that best stuff stays in Japan. for example, some Mitotuyo instruments are not allowed to be exported after buying locally in Japan. My churchmate also mentioned to me that cars in Japan have harder chassis than in North American market
Don't tell the secrets my guy lol My wife is from Malaysia and I LOVE ASIA you are so right, so many better products in Japan , Thailand and Malaysia ,, Great video
Is not one of the cleanest most innovative countries in the world. But that's a good selling point for them. Those terms should be separated in two different sentences. -Is clean where you are going to look. Is like any other industrialised country (dirt and broken) if you get out the touristic and commercial areas. -Innovation and differentiation is not the same. Japan is 10 to 15 years behind in technology and innovation from South Korea, Taiwan, and even the big cities of China. Japanese websites are starting to improve nowadays, but you can still find Dreamweaver sites. Credit card payment is still not accepted everywhere, even in touristic places. International cards also are not accepted everywhere. The use of Fax is still the normal way to communicate between small/medium business and providers. Yes, you will find products that are sold only in Japan, but that is not innovation, is localisation. The old times where all the good electronics were made here is gone. If we look at other sectors, for example the health system quality performance is nothing to be happy with, other social issues put Japan in very middle positions in international references. Also, the way that industries and manufacturers are geographically placed is archaic and logistically inefficient. And so many other points that are not known to the western world. The low presence of this products in overseas markets is due to the low internationalisation of the sellers, who doesn't use English and doesn't understands the foreign markets and customers needs. Therefor, the cost and efforts of customer support is unacceptable for them. In addition, Japanese society is not open to changes of any type, and new ways or models take much longer to be adopted, generally by younger individuals. Family business are not expected to do any changes. So, yes, it is a good business to sell Japanese products overseas for its quality (compared with Chinese products, but in the line with other countries like US or European producers) and for their uniqueness. Combined with the romanticism and other appreciated elements of an unknown culture that are positive points for selling too.
Nice video, Japanese people are very meticulous, they possess a craftsmanship spirit, and some Chinese manufacturers also admire this quality. However, the cost of Japanese products is relatively higher, and many products are also manufactured by Chinese factories. But their quality control is indeed quite strict
Yes, because Japanese business owners strategically establish operations in China, for coast-effective production due to lower labor expenses and a longer workforce. However, they meticulously uphold Japanese quality standards through stringent oversight, ensuring that products maintain the renowned quality associated with Japanese craftsmanship. this approach allows them to capitalize on China's Economic advantages while preserving the high standards synonymous with Japanese products.
Looking at Japan's auto industry, I very much would rather import from Japan. It's time to admit that Japan has the top edge on Automobile quality. This to me translates that they have enough pride in their products to make them the very best they can. As a patriotic American, I am ashamed to admit that much of American made products are lagging far behind. This is largely because many American companies are out sourcing to China and the quality is in the toilet. I am not Asian but Japan, Korea and Taiwan seem to have the edge on quality.
thanks for your awesome content and education do you have any recommendations for purchasing cars and suv's from Japan will small size samples for individuals?
Jdm products are expensive. Usually when its very cheap it means they are made somewhere else and shipped for japan then sold from japan to other countries. Id say another cheaper option will be the Philippine made products. They are not as good as jdm but definitely alot better than products coming from sweat shops from China.
I worked in a japanese shirt printing company. I can absolutely promise you that there was nothing Green, Clean, or Legal about that place. They dumped all the chemicals into the street drains and the nobody in the working staff had a visa. I walked out a month later.
I love Japanese and I will love to visit some day but their products are just too expensive for business people with limited funds. I find products from China equals or exceed market quality but are competitively priced.
Hi, congratulations for your very educational channel. I ask you a question. On this website from Japan, you can buy original auto parts like Toyota. Thank you.
