That's a great paint-job on that mini. Our game table is the dining room table, in full view of the kitchen and living room so our post game set ups get taken down fairly quickly.
I've done the same. I just had to buy storage boxes and build shelves for all of my stuff. The amount of un used XPS foam every where. Never ending story...
It's great Garmin that you and Olivia such a cool game room. Thanks for sharing your space 🙏🙂 Great background advice, it really brings the model to life, if that makes sense? Great paint job Olivia 😊
Great perspective! It feels nice to have a clean space to create, but it also feels great reminiscing over a weekend of gaming, or perusing a messy workshop of half finished projects (who me? No someone else, a totally different guy who isn't me who is definitely someone else) and finding inspiration or motivation in a project or in a place you didn't expect to. Embrace the chaos and don't forget that we do this because we love it!
Big fan here, I love this off topic (crafting) to take a minute to remember why we craft. The photography tips were great too, especially the depth idea with the buildings.
I had to look at this video again.. love it and love to see a gaming table covered with stuff . Especially all the houses.. so perfect looking. Just wanted to say love this and keep them coming.👍👍
I need an 8-sided rotating table, for tabletop games, board games, crafting, having a clean table sometimes, another clean table for when I mess up the first clean table.... Maybe a mobius table would be more useful.
I am way to OCD to ever do this (Adrian Monk is my spirit animal :P ). My table gets cleaned up between games. I got 5 shakers of flocking in the mail today. I liked the color of the flocking on your pieces so much, I am going to copy it. I got my first test piece drying downstairs as I type, I am looking forward to inspecting it in the morning!
@@StorycraftSociety That I can do, just let me know where to go for that (Discord channel, etc.) I tried a sample piece and it looks great - bright and cheerful fantasy look. Pretty soon I will be flocking the bases of my fences with it. :P
Have you ever done a video on your gaming mats? Would be curious to know what your go to mats are for style, brand, format, material, size, etc. I am looking to upgrade from standard dry erase mat and thought your different ones looked nice
Love your style & especially the content. I am making my way through the backlog and have seen them all, so this one inspires some questions - or perhaps a video idea. One, what is the story on the table - was it bought, or made ( I think I remember it is your father that is into woodworking, so wasn't sure if he made it?). Two - what are the dimensions of the table, and for that matter the room? Assuming you have what I have, which is a dining room which we will never have dinner in - but want it to be the ultimate gaming room. Which leads me to the video idea - a tour of your set up, and boy oh boy would I love to see how one of your D& D sessions was run - I don't care how many videos it would take as I know you try to keep them under 20 minutes, but you have a wonderful way of weaving in your terrain into your storytelling that I know seeing you in action would be awesome.
