No side face cards, ace, 2, 3 Two sides = 4,5 Three sizes 6,7,8 Four size = 9, 10 Basically when you turn them and bend them on the side you can see 0,2,3,4 clubs hearts diamonds or spades
When I hit a 16, i usually wind up with 26 or 22. My favorite move is splitting 6's against a dealer 5, then immediately going to showdown with a couple of 16's.
His strategy and like many others with blackjack is wrong. I NEVER hit 16. I have plenty of proof that it raises your risk of losing significantly. You gotta understand, if your odds are low of winning anyways, why not take a chance? Also, if you hit a 16 and for the sake of argument the dealer DOES have a 20, there’s only 2 cards, not 4, that can help you either push or win. Very high risk when the dealer doesn’t always have a winning hand. I would say 7 out of 10 times I stand the dealer has low. Just food for thought. It’s also about paying attention to the cards that come out, there’s only so many high and low cards. Good luck
If the dealer has a ten up and i have a bustable hand I stand. If they have another 10 in the hole you are going to lose 11/13 times, win once out of 11, and tie once out of 11. Basically if they have a 20 the hand is already over. But if they have a low card in the hole 2,3,4,5,6 they can bust. Thats in essence 5 chances for them to bust vs 2 chances for you to tie or win vs their presumed 20
Dealers will burn you on a double deck that they hand shuffle by not shuffling really well when you’re losing and then shuffling really well when you’re winning. They can also clump cards when they shuffle so they’re shuffling with clumps instead of intertwining every card. So many ways to burn you on blackjack. Oh my God.
Here's some breaking news. The dealer doesn't care that much if you win or lose. Unless you're a particularly obnoxious punter, the dealer's happy enough either way.
@@joshniehaus4378 It's a very small edge. Not something you need to be doing if you're just having fun, but in the long term you will lose slightly less money surrendering than hitting.
@@joshniehaus4378 it’s counterintuitive, but it’s smarter longer term to surrender. You will lose 57 cents per dollar if you play it out. By surrendering you lose 50 cents per dollar. It’s significant.
If the dealer is chatty and slow, and you're playing for enjoyment, and like comps, a slow dealer is awesome. I'm rated by the theoretical hands per hour, not actual hands per hour 😀
@@Sammmeow idk how u play but, I either win 10k fast or lose 10k fast. I could care less about a free room and a steak dinner 😂 that’s not gonna help if I lose the mortgage money in an hour
You are wrong. Even if you win a certain hand while standing on 16, in the long run it's always the right move to hit if the dealer shows a 7 or higher
@@dawnmarie8797he’s wrong on the chance of winning but maybe this is the casino payout rate per game. Kinda like how slots pay out a certain percentage
