Hi Tom, I have to hand it to you made me laugh after I saw that line and not surprised considering that I was wondering how some of these people became home inspectors and please forgive my ignorance but as a general building contractor I've been approached by some city inspectors to become one since the cities always need to fill those positions and for some strange reason I always believe that home inspectors must have construction background. However, now after 30 years of residential and commercial construction experience I'm considering to look into the home inspection business and do it here in Missouri but I don't know how to get the leads. I went also to one of those sites providing info about inspector schools got a bunch of emails from all kind of online courses with all kind of prices and don't know which are legitimate or which one is the best so if you have some advice will be greatly appreciated, Thank you, sir
Wow that is incredible lets run a wire outside the wall against code and then an inspector comes to inspect .. no problems here *big sticker of approval* lol wow oh man that's really bad , also i agree with you Tom that the stickers are defacing peoples property and should not be done.
I have few properties and that would be the first thing I take out. Most of them are not stock straight and tells you a lot about the carelessness of the company. Great video. Thank you 🙏
Thank you on this video it's a good advice! [Question] I would like if you would have time and will to make a video or general must (like 10 must) list on how to pick a right home. If you are a person who is outside US and it's willing to invest in buying home on mainland U.S. Like what is a general difference between etc. Mobile / Mfd home from stick frame or what would me best choice if you are on a budget or not have much a wiggle room - like for average Joe who saved some money and want a buy a home in U.S !! Hope this will be Okay explanation what I'm looking for !! Thank you !!
Glad to have found this channel. Nice to find something from BC that's relevant. You got my sub, and I'll risk the wife's wrath to catch up on your posts (when I should be whittling the dreaded list down. Cheers.
U have no clue if that electrical work was done after he did the inspection. But i agree, hiw stupid donu have to be to leave a sticker behind certifiying a hine as inspected
It definitely was which is the point he's making that the sticker gives a false indication that the unsafe work done after is safe. Also the 2 pieces of electrical tape was probably put on to block out which company the sticker belongs to for this video. Yes, I know you can probably still figure out who it is but I'm just taking a guess here.
