I feel so absolutely deprived that I've only discovered Matt Andersen a few months ago, and I love artists like Chris Stapleton, Marcus King, and Kingfish. Man, I've heard a lot of amazing artists, but this guy I don't know...just amazing and just acoustic guitar skills...my gosh!
first learned of matt on cbc, heard this guy singing, waited to hear who it was...matt Anderson I was told...saw him at a concert last year cunard centre in Halifax...what a great concert; I was up, as was many, dancing alone...love him to the moon and back.
+Lisa g I first learned about him on NPR Detroit Public Radio about 2 years ago. They do a Friday blues show from 9pm to 12am. Man I wish he'd come to Detroit.

Thanks for putting this up on your channel. I poked around and found loads of interesting stuff, even pipe organ concerts, and of course, Matt Anderson is amazing.
How awesome is this, Matt will be touring Down-under again in 2015 performing at the Corner Hotel and I will not be denied seeing him this time around. Can't wait til 11-Apr. Every true Blues nutcase should be there. Gunna be friggin' amazing.

Where is this phenomenal singer/player now ? I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this Guy til now. It’s a crime I didn’t find him til now just flipping thru you tube. I want his albums. How do I get them ?

So that thing he does like in the second song where he just rushes ahead of the beat but in a way that sounds intentional... is that his thing, or is is an established blues thing? Either way makes me want to get into this stuff.
