Did you enjoy watching this? Please be honest. It feels weird and scary :( My English is a bit rusty and I stumble a lot, but if I learn to make tutorials this way it's a WIN/WIN situation - I just need to practice a lot, and buy a new computer! My videos would look/sound more professional, it would be easier for me to produce, and over time I hope the videos will be more engaging as well. I'm happy to be back home in Sweden. Missed you
I'm very proud of you! It's cool to know what you look and sound like, I've wondered that sometimes. Don't worry indeed , if you do this more often you will become more comfortable with it :) by the way, I hope you had a great time in Asia :D
+Jade Nanarjain I had a WONDERFUL time in Asia, but I love Sweden and it feels good to be back :) Thank you Jane. It means a lot. I wouldn't have the courage if it wasn't for your support - honestly. Much love
Very cool to see what you look, and sound like! Hope you had a wonderful time in Asia! Don't worry. You will get used to this kind of stuff as you keep doing it. Thanks for posting! Love you work. ;)
Guldies, your English is fine! Be confident and speak proudly, we all love you and wont judge you. Also, you are much younger than I expected you to be. Here's to more stop motion!
+TeamTNTunicorn I get all emotional now. You are the best. I will try not to judge myself either! I wouldn't have tried this if it wasn't for you guys - and how old do you think I am? MUCH LOVE!
I think I'm one of your biggest fans. I love how in the beginning you called what you do, art, because it *so* is. Some people call their animations, animations, or work, but it's art, and your stuff is more so. Just beautiful. And this was informative, well made, and well spoken. All fantastic work, and you are awesome.
+JOEking990 Your support makes me do these things. I can't thank you enough! Everything and nothing is art, but if I had ONE word to describe all these feelings and creations - that's the one. Thank you for your kind words :)
Awesome stuff as always! Hadn't really thought about using the grid in Dragonframe, so that's a handy tip. Definitely agree with the scrolling back and forth though and not just relying on onion skinning. Great work :)
+mamshmam AAAH I still get giddy when I hear from you. Thanks man! Onion skin is impossible to use when it comes to smaller movements, imo. The only time I use it is when I make big mistakes and need to relocate my moving object to where it was!
+Guldies Likewise - I get excited when I see you put out new videos! Even when I make big mistakes I still need to scroll back and forth to make sure it fits in. I guess you could use the zoom function if you really wanted to use onion skinning, but yeah scrolling is the best for spacing :D
I am impressed that you take the time to Photoshop each image. I would have rotoscoped in After Effects but I can see how this helps sell the effect, especially since you had some brown clay in front of your blue clay at times. Your videos are very inspirational, I hope to see more.
HA I KNEW YOUD BE HERE! Also @Guldies this was fun to watch and very helpful for animators! I really liked the style of the video and your face too! So yay I'm very glad you're back and great job!
You may not get the views or subscriptions you deserve, but I highly respect you and your craft, in fact I may even say I am a little jealous of how creative you are. But over time I began to realize that much like the Oscars (or any award given for that matter) doesn't really mean anything in the end, don't get me wrong you deserve praise for your work, but the fact that you aren't quite as big as other youtubers, or well known yet you still create these amazing videos is what I find so admirable about you. You have a love for art and more importantly what you do, you don't go for the big and flashy entertainment we are so used to being spoon fed with. Never give up, never stop making videos, it would be a travesty to see talent such as yours wasted in a world where let's plays, prank videos, and reaction videos are the only things people watch nowadays. - Sincerely a long time subscriber and movie enthusiast.
+Angelo Vs Film I am SO proud of this channel no matter how many subscribers I have. I'm so proud of YOU. YOU make this channel the best of the best! I get wonderful messages everyday and I have the time to respond to almost everything - I wouldn't change that for the world! I really hope to hear from you every year to come! Cheers
I loved this video, it was really clear and unique in the detailed tips you gave (like the exagerated moves and the different sound effects) . All your art is unique! i love it!!
This is one of the impressive video I've ever seen! I was always wondering how people produce those stopmotion videos and now I can see that it is a result of you artists efforts. Thank you for making these kind of video!!
Very useful video! I'm a sculptor but looking into stop-motion these days, so thank you! :) Listening to you was very calming as well, so don't be shy.
This is amazing! Awesome that you are now talking, and on camera, and I think that is one of the hardest steps on RU-vid :) This tutorial was very good, and I hope you carry on doing what you love. Excellent job, you never fail to create an in depth, and helpful tutorial! Thank you again :)
Guldies. I get so excited whenever I see one of your videos in my subscription box. You are such a huge inspiration to me and I find your work AMAZING. I didn't know it was physically possible for a video to make someone this happy :D Thank you for existing, keep up the amazing work!!!
Oh, cool, it’s Guldies’ face and voice! ^_^ cool to hear ya, man. This is interesting and I just love watching you work. I doubt I’ll ever do anything like this, I just do stuff like pyrography and pencil drawing for now and very casually. Animation is a medium that is sorta... outside my sphere of knowledge, so it’s just awesome to see how this stuff gets made. That, and you’re incredibly talented!! Oh, and I cackled at the shot of that house at the end. 😂
Oh my god, thank you so much for your videos ! My stop-motion homeworks look way less scary now and I can't wait to try it on my own ! (also as a non-native english speaker too I can say that you speak very well, I understand everything)
finally, the face behind this art :D, your English is good and this tutorial is very helpful and I finally see how you make your magic , amazing as usual :))
Awesome video! I'm not much on an animator, but who knows, maybe if I have some spare time I could give it a go :) Either way, I love watching your work, I can't wait to see what you do next ^^ Your english comes across pretty naturally too, perhaps a little bit slow but it's not a bad thing, I think it actually suits the video better that way :) Much love, man! Keep it up!
+willch1337 I tried to read a small script at first, but it didn't sound natural at all, so I had to take it a bit slower. I will practice a lot, promise - and thank you SO much for your critique. I need you now more than ever, oke? And please give it a go!
Your English is wonderful! you're so soft spoken, I definitely think you should do more voice over videos like this :) Keep being amazing at what you do, You are an idol of mine!
I love your sculptures, videos and tutorials! Everything is very clearly explained, I learn so much from them! I am very new to the stop motion world. May you do a tutorial on lighting setup please? That's the most thing I struggle with now.. Thank you!!!
you dont have to worry at all! you have a talent that is hard to perfect (just like you do) and it was ment to help people out, which it probably did, and it is not about how odd the video is. anf thanks for the face reveal
I came here from your latest video (liquid animation) and I thought you were gonna be an old man with a bald head or receding hair line! Because your work is incredible and seems like something that a man with 30 years of experience would produce.
Omg I have 1 question (and I commented on here before but I forgot to ask) how don't you have any finger prints, hand prints, etc on the surface of the clay? It looks so smooth!
Hi, your work is incredible! Please tell me, in Photoshop, do you remove the stand on each photo? This can be a huge number of photos and remove the stand from each photo for a very long time ...
Hey, glad to see you in person at last! :D Oh, and the problem with stumbling is very familiar to me. Keep making these tutorial videos, the more you practice, the better they will get. Hopefully I find the time to give it a try, I really want to try making stop motion films.
+CTB Videos Oh please please please try! It would be so much fun :) And it's exciting to finally say HI to you for real for the first time! It feels crazy! I will practice a lot!
You are so talented!Came here from your instagram and immediately subscribed because I enjoyed this.Hope you'l reach a million subscribers and evem more!😊
Your a frikin boss. Please do more of these man, but try to make your voice a bit more projected. At first, it will seem weird, but you will end up becoming used to speaking into a microphone, and it becomes extremely natural. Please do more of these.
Hey so I am making a stop motion short in the style of the Fantastic movement (19th Century) for an important project for school. I was wondering how you manage to make these beautiful figures with so much detail on them. Could you give me some advice on how to make great clay figures for a stop motion short? What materials do I need? Are there any specific techniques? P.S. I Love your work.
you are like the coolest guy ever guldies! how can you be so handsome AND humble too? please always do what you love, you seem to be good in doing stuff you love doing :) i hope you always have enough money to play with clay and your fanatasy through all your life!
Hey man. I am a just starting my animation career and I primarily use photoshop to animate. I was wondering, wouldn't it be easier to isolate your ball if your clay was green and you just used "select color range" ? Then you could just put a layer style on it to rapidly change the color right?
