Do you read the scriptures? Have you looked at the lives of the prophets the Apostles? Have you looked at the history of the genuine Christian Church, thier suffering? What it cost men and women over the history of the church to follow Christ to proclaim God's gospel? Have you ever read about the lives of the Puritans or the reformers or missionaries, or bible translators like Tyndale. Your comment is shallow it dosent honor those who give thier lives to follow Christ. Jesus told His followers the world would hate them and slander them persecute them and even kill them for following Christ. It's not about your personal happiness, having your best life free of suffering and trials. It's about about getting the gospel of God out to the world no matter the circumstances or cost, for the glory of God and the salvation of sinners. It's all about the Fathers glory, the Saviors exaltation, honoring the Holy Spirit, in our life and our death. Elevation church is not a church, Steven is not a Pastor,, they preach a different Jesus, scripture warns about just such men and women and the false gospel they preach. I pray your eyes will be open to the deception of elevation church and Steven Furtick.

When I say GOD is amazing and so timely I can not express enough! I am going through a long stressful season in my marriage with confusion on how to move forward and every point that Steven mentioned hit home for me. I clicked on this to gain encouragement with my mind and the battles I face concerning my mind. But God had much more or a surprise in store for me UNEXPECTEDLY. Honestly, if nothing else, if I don't always feel blessed from the sermons (which I do), from the worship (which I do), from the support and giving I see Elevation doing (which I do), I love that I'm a part of the church where the pastor and his wife just such a beautiful, real marriage. I pray that I can be as wonderful a wife to my future husband, as Holly is to pastor Steven. I pray I will respect, honor and encourage my husband and that he will cherish, love and lift me up as well, as we live the life of worship and sacrifice to the Lord together. This video hits it right there. I don’t know why I’ve spent the years creating these ridiculous scenarios in my mind with people and stuff that most likely wouldn’t happen, and some that might, but I realize, why entertain these thoughts? I feel like I’m losing my mind and just going nuts, like why do I do this to myself? I feel like a fool after every scenario, where I’m yelling at people, criticizing people, fighting with people, imagining people that are judging me and I worry about what they think. Why I keep going back to this stuff I need to ask myself, and then I realize that Steven’s other video talks about seeking the familiar, even if it’s what I can’t stand, what makes me upset. I need to get away from that. All of this. I try with perseverance every day, but it’s just so hard. It’s like the harder I try to stop, the harder that these habits come back. Please pray for me. I know that nothing happens in my own strength and ability. I have to to let go.

I did not grow up in church and yes I believe in God and I love and worship HIM. People used to say "folks will turn to God when they need something." I heard this a lot growing up but never paid any attention to it until......I found out it, it really is true. I was the "folks.'" When my dad passed away my world was crushed. I did not know how I was going to function and get through life....until I said "GOD." I immediately got on the lap top just so I could hear the WORD and so GOD could start mending my broken heart. I needed this to happen immediately within a week lol.....Then I saw this man and his name was Steve Furtick. I started listening to him and man did he make you think. When he would say things, I would go and study what he said. I no longer felt the rush to heal my heart. My heart will heal in time but during the healing process I am gonna learn about Jesus and just how GOOD HE IS! I know HE IS THE WAY TO my broken heart. I trust him. I want to say thank you Steve Furtick for coming into "my life" through a 15 inch screen. It's a small screen but through it I was able to see the bigger picture.

@@stevenfurtick What really stood out to me is the point you made on the 80:20 Rule; You mentioned how most people leave the 80 that they love or have, for the 20 that they want, how we should watch out cuz that 20 may be all there is to offer. I was in a situation where I was in the middle of deciding between 2 things and this message really helped me in my thought process and decision making. Really changed my perspective on stuff. It honestly was timely 🙌🏽 You also mentioned that we tend to run from some things, that we’re not even gonna have to face! I can totally relate to that lol 😆

If anyone sees this please pray for me. I’ve been divorced and I’ve learned sense and it pains me that allowed it even though there was no adultery as the reason. I repent of it and I want my kingdom back. I’ve seen signs of it but I’m in a contradiction. I don’t just need prayer, I also need belief that he will. I believe but it’s so hard for me. I’m pretty much convinced that no therapist/counselor can help me with my intrusive thoughts, bad dreams and whatever else comes with OCD, the farther I stray from God the more I find myself in these mind battles with myself expecting bad things to happen and the only cure I can find is from God. please pray for me and help me get through this rough time in my life . God is amazing and has did many good things in my life and I never want to leave his presence because I know he has all power and can protect me ! God is so good.
