Ok, so apparently the majority of you guys werent around to remember the original ARG that this is from, so let me explain to you all what this is. This animation was NOT made by Cartoon Network, nor was it ever broadcast on Cartoon Network (they couldnt have, and i'll explain in a bit), but this sketch was created by the creator of KND, Mr Tom Warburton. When KND ended, Mr Warburton (thats what he prefers to go by) wanted to continute the KND series into Galactic Kids Next Door (G:KND) and created, not this animation, but a pencil sketch mockup of this animation where he got the original voice actors to voice it as a pitch to CN. CN did not green light the project, citing low audience reception as KND was declining in popularity at the time of its final seasons, so the project was just flat out rejected. Mr Warburton, however, attempted to show CN that KND did still have a loyal fanbase by creating an ARG where internet users had to guess the password to some alien looking website, the password of which was G:KND, and upon accessing the website, the sketch animation would be played. CN still didnt greenlight the project, but the animation remained, and some randos from the internet remade the sketch animation into this animation with full motion and color. This means that THIS specific animation is technically owned by an independent internet user, NOT CN, so CN cannot broadcast this full motion and color animation. They could broadcast the original sketch animation that Mr Warburton made, but they havent as far as I know. As for the G:KND project, its like 95% probable that CN is not working on it. In terms of KND news, a RU-vidr named Jordan Fringe made a video about KND that got a lot of views and the attention of Mr Warburton, who commented that the KND "will return someday", but thats only a wish, not a confirmation. IF CN was working on a new KND series, Mr Warburton would have been under a NDA and wouldn't have been allowed to say anything about it until CN publicly announced it themselves. TL;DR: This is a fan animation based on a real pitch animation voiced by the original voice actors, but was edited to look like an actual CN promo. No further information is known.
I don't think they can legally do that though because the show is an IP owned by Cartoon Network. Now if Mr. Warburton were to create a new show with a similar tone set in space but not connected to the original series, that would be cool.
Okay but. Imagine KND coming back in a limited series format to end the story like Samurai Jack did. Reconcile the trauma of growing up and the extremes some go to control the changing world around them because they can't shake old ideals. Like One can't ever think of adults as allies, even his old friends.
With that saying: you'll live longer to see and understand the truth revealed more and more. Then others can't see to deal with. I can't reveal more from here🤣🤣🤣
@@cyberwolf2383 Spoilers. Long story short, eren tried to commit mass genocide to protect his home and friends.....he wasn't stopped before it started.
I hope that GKND becomes real in my lifetime. It maybe foolish of me to think it will, but judging by how many comments from days and hours ago, it appears the KND fandom is still alive and kicking. Mr Warburton, if you’re reading this. Your show was a constant source of entertainment for me and so many other kids, teens and adults. So please, never loose hope on bringing your wish to life. We’ve got your back.
Personally as someone who grew up with knd, can't see Gen z (or whatever they're called) enjoying this show as much as we did. That or the network just won't take the risk. Look at teen titans and teen titans go for example. Odds are if it ever came back they'd make it more appealing to kids under 6 with a childish cartoon style or humor.
For anyone wondering, this is a fan animation of an actual animatic for a concept of a continuation of KND, the video kinda lies a bit with the CN marker and stuff. It was never greenlit. Also the show would have had some interesting lore implications if it actually happened. Like this video cuts it out, but Lizzie Devine is actually a plant alien operative named Numbuh Vine. So the fact that Nigel aka Number 1 dated an alien is the most interesting fact, especially her being a GKND member, because she broke up with him over putting too much time on focusing on KND stuff, so it's also kinda of funny too.
Considering what we know now, her mission was most likely to ensure he cuts out any possible ties to Earth. She was responsible for making sure he doesn't have any romantic attachments. If I recall their breakup episode, I think it was either the Splinter Cell or some other GKND person monitoring them saying he was ready. Though of course, I'm sure Lizzie ended up actually falling for him and/or earth.
My heart. This is amazing. I loved KND so much. I used to play make belief games with my friends about being opperatives of the KND when I was little. We had our own sector and all. We fashioned weapons with duct tape and empty cocacola bottles and built forts out of trash cans, boxes and random junk we found. I never knew there was an idea for a sequel series and it devastates me it never got greenlit.
5 details questions about G:KND 1. Will they stop G: KND and save Number 1 2. Is Number 5 now the supreme leader 3. Did 362 meet number 10 who is number 1 cousin 4. Are Maurice and Chad still friends as teens 5. Are Number 1 and 362 going to have relationship soon
@@vanessasandoval96once I made fan comic just to answer these questions and when I passed it around it got received pretty well and even included in old fan theories -The ultimate plot is Numbah Elventy-Billion is a ancient alien/being and on his planet he was the youngest and they ran their societal status based on age, so he eliminated all his race and achieved immortality, then collected the youngest from other planets and granted them immortality and eliminated the race deeming them as the only beings not “infected” by the weight of age but because they get weaker the more they age so EB forms the GKND out of the alien races and only one from each race But he then discovers Earth, and notices their seemingly short but beautiful life cycle and this life cycle produces stronger and stronger humans, stronger operatives, that could very well threaten EBs immortality and the G:KND Mr Boss was the previous Earth Galactic level operative and rejected their plan and escaped the G:KND but upon his return was too old and got decommissioned, now they choose to use Nigel to disrupt the KND from within -Numbah 5 does become Supreme Leader but by default upon the attack/seize of the moon base where Nigel captures Rachel -Maurice also helps the fight with Abby’s troops with the help of Kree and the teenagers and adult forces and actually works with Chad, Chad ends up sacrificing himself in the end and Maurice married Kree -Numbah 1 wants to repay and repent for everything he did and the races the G:KND eliminated, the lives lost and friends he hurt, he ends up staying in space with Lizzie (who is actually a plant alien who rebelled against them) for eons until he grows old, that’s where Father looks to settle the score and Nigel has a trap waiting for him while he returns to earth to steal all his assets and company retire, see his friends one last time and be decommissioned
5 details and questions that I want to see what happens in G: KND 1. Will they stop G: KND and save number 1 2. Is Number 5 now the supreme leader 3. Did 362 meets number 10 who is number 1 cousins 4. Are Maurice and Chad still friends as teens 5. Will there be a relationship between number 1 and 362 and the end
1. Definitely. They'll save Nigel and together I think they'll redeem the GKND, starting with Numbuh Infinity (Numbuh ∞) with Lizzie's help, and they'll also face the ultimate evil threat, the one! The only! NUMBUH *ALEPH **_ZERO!!!!!_* (Numbuh ℵ₀) 2. She is. She even decommissioned Harvey for his bad attitude. To be honest, in my opinion, Harvey is the only _Codename: Kids Next Door_ character who deserves any kind of hate. 3. I don't know. They might in the show. 4. I think so. They are both part of the TND, after all, and Chad never really betrayed the KND. 5. I don't know. But I think it's also possible Nigel and Lizzie might get back together and form a healthy relationship, and Rachel might end up with Fanny (we need LGBTQIA+ relationships, now that that's allowed on kids' TV, and its important as ever to stay woke and have SJWs).
@@jjtheraccoon61 You can't force it to happen though. It has to be natural. forcing Rachel and Fanny to be a thing when it's never actually hinted they like girls as well as boys isn't the right way to do it and is bait. You clearly don't understand that all relationships have to be written in a natural way and not forced by some agenda. At the moment you are projecting a head canon that doesn't have evidence in the show (and please don't say woke or SWJ, it's embarrassingly stupid) . The right way to show other relationships is with new characters or the ones that didn't get names instead of established characters that have only been seen interested in boys. Thank you! (please don't do writing if you don't understand human relationships)
Here's a better response: they probably will do all those things you mentioned Vanessa and do some cool unexpected ones with Cree if we're lucky too :) and if they are willing to include LGBT stuff, I'd rather it be with characters that aren't established one or new or background ones so it's not FORCED for the sake of shippers
KND forever! I would love for this to happen. It was one of the best shows on Cartoon Network. Lordy, I miss those old cartoons and old CN. We had the best cartoons growing up.
I feel like g:knd should go the route samurai jack did, all the original audience members are late teens to mid 20, they want adult action and deep dives into character, like a great subplot would be Nigel fighting with the existential transition from kid to teen and how he learns that most of the adults forget what it's like to be a kid, I can see Nigel being the only adult that still remembers being a kid
I wish that GKND could have been a thing or got big. But I feel like not just this but the hopes of most any animation were squashed the moment Discovery came by and bought them out (likely to soon squash any animation for good not long from now to force only Discovery content when done). If GKND wants to continue/happen, Mr. Warburton has to realize he'll have to do it on his own outside of CN and hiding the obvious to avoid copyright (assuming Zaslav doesn't sell the IP as a tax write-off like everything else soon to kill it permanently) to finish what he wanted to started years back.
I wished CNS needs to make it happen right now, along with Before Courage and Destroy Us All,considering CN needs some hope and is in a second dark age right now due to the awful Warner Bros. Discovery merger impacting CN completely by removing several of it’s shows off Max(including Kids Next Door recently),shutting down it’s original headquarters last year on Augest, and giving it’s 5pm-8pm timeslots to [adult swim].
@@gracekim25 Cartoon network as a studio was completely shut down. And unfortunately it is highly unlikely anything will ever be done with the IP due to the company that owns cartoon network's assets forever copyright locking it. Cartoon network made a digital museum of their doodle walls in the staircase however if you'd want to look at the history of it all.
@@warprifter8772doesn’t tht mean that adult swim could possibly do what they also did with samurai jack? For a conclusion just hypothetically speaking.👨🦼
So, Kenny the chimp came out in 1998, the real birth year of KND. Then the first episode of KND happened with the pool in 2001, so the show was 3 years old at the time. Then when it reached the age of 4, (2002) it fought adult tyranny until the age of 10 in 2008. And then after waiting 15-16 years, it decides to get rid of adults once and for all. But in conclusion, that would make the show 26 years old, right? Does that mean that it needs to destroy itself as well?
I once wrote a fan comic script for this (and other shows) to finish the G:KND I hope someone does see it and publish the idea especially the original producer but let me know what y’all think sorry it’s long: G:KND will be about a powerful being/alien known as Numbah Elevnty Billion, he was the youngest of his kind and where he is from they run their status by age meaning he was the lowest and servant, he then created and found the ways of eliminating his entire race and achieving immortality, he then uses his technology and power to travel the Galaxy find other races and eliminate them, discovering he gets weaker as he ages he recruits one worthy member from every planet and grants them immortality in exchange for their loyalty and finds this member by giving the planets youngest Gen at the time his technology and under his rule and the strongest of all over time would be Galactic level , thus born the G:KND, they find earth and see it as a disease because of their seemingly short but beautiful life cycle and produces stronger humans/stronger operatives every generation and this could threaten their immortality, Mr Boss was the first Galactic level KND member of earth but he rejected their plan rebelled and escaped to earth but being to old he got decommissioned They then recruit Nigel who infiltrates the moon base and captures Rachel and allows the G:KND to seize the moon base, this by default makes Numbah 5 the supreme leader, she then unlocks all files of KND, and recommissions old members and teams up with adults and teens and rebel alien races to wage the biggest war in KND history
to anyone else who grew up with this show i believe i speak for everyone we never stopped being KND operatives this show was awesome and I hope GKND gets greenlit KIDS NEXT DOOR RULES!!!
It's insane to think about this now since it really is what might have been one of the first ARG for a lot of people if not the first before many people knew what an ARG even was I would literally kill for this show to be made
@K-Flo10 Yeah, I don't remember all the details, but there was some rainbow monkey website that had a secret that you could find and it showed the storyboard for this basically lol as well as other cryptic stuff hinting at the continuation of the series, but it never went anywhere...till now I guess lol
@@Xavierspanic nah I was so intrigued that I did my own research. It’s still not going anywhere. This was apparently an experiment made by the creator for funsies. Still, I think this was SUCH a cool idea. I believed it, and I like how they took a more mature approach to this, it seems like it would’ve been dark if this was real. I would’ve totally loved for this to be greenlit, but Cartoon Network prefers keeping Teen Titans Go! making fart jokes and whatnot
@Xavierspanic you were a goddman kid? Does that mean you're a demigod? Call the local news to confirm there's a demigod among us! Also I really hope they eventually let it be a streaming series on max or they allow mr.warburton to have the rights of knd to make this happen. Sadly we'll never know with cartoon network.
I feel like there's a huge plot hold with KND in general. They fight adults but are ok with their parents and sometimes even fight other kids parents? Where's the line drawn??
They specifically fight adult tyranny, not adults in general, and have even helped certain adults who were also being mistreated on occacation. Except for this video of course. The GKND seem to be extremists
They fight adult “tyranny”, not adults as a whole. They love or tolerate their families, for one. Even numbuh 5 loves her sister despite their constant fighting.
@@bdeamon1that’s the beauty of this video! The KND was founded on the principles of fighting adult tyranny. The GKND are basically the galactic counterpart with operatives chosen from planetary KNDs. Sorta like entering into A black ops group nobody but a few knows of. And yet here, the allegiances and Nigel’s morality is put to the test. How far are you willing to go to fight evil or tyranny until you become that very evil? It wouldn’t exactly surprise me if Nigel actually did this. He did always seem pretty zealous about the cause, even moreso when you consider his family legacy. But at the same time, it would cost him potentially every one and thing he loved just to purge adult tyranny.
I really hope they go through with this one cause CN needs this to work cause most of their shows are crap with a few exceptions Steven universe, ik I will get hate for this but teen titans go,creg of the creek. Everything thing else they been showing sucks so they really need to have this
If it ever comes out, it should be on Adult Swim. There's more they can do with the show, plus most of their original fans are at least in their mid 20s
This is a very sad way for the series to continue. Earth 🌍 has been destroyed and the sequel just can’t be presented to the world because Cartoon Network just won’t make it into an actual series. Please Cartoon Network, Just do it. Create a sequel for Codename Kids next door. Take the concepts from Mr Warburton and create the new season. For everyone. Please. 🥺❤️💧🙏
Adult Swim should do what cartoon network done to the Hanna Barbera properties and relicence all the old cartoon network shows. Cartoon network lost its touch but adult swim has picked up pace alot recently, rick and Morty made them alot of money, time to reinvest. Hell at this stage Adult swim should branch off into its own network
Even though this wqs just a quick storyboard it was still made by the og creator so we ag least have a small idea of the direction he wanted the series to go
Honestly, Nigel being corrupted really surprises me how mean he always stood strong in his morality for other kids His friends will be disappointed what he turned into into, but obviously the Galactic knd They knew that all the kids next-door operatives would eventually become adults in the future that would eventually lead to the human races extinction it will lead to extinction despite Loyalty to youth That’s pretty much the extinction of an entire race if Nigel only saw through this then maybe he wouldn’t have done it
No, considering another video shows that this video was sent to Kuki and Wally, and they accidentally uploaded the video before the countdown ends, it was referencing how it actually happened in real life. So it didn’t happened.
Will we see other KND sectors around the world? Personally, I think we should see sectors from the following countries, in no particular order: *Estonia (possibly Sector Š, like the one in my fanfiction universe, which had an operative named Nikita Lojaalne/Numbuh 1589 who betrayed the KND) *Latvia *Lithuania *Poland *Vietnam (possibly Sector Ơ, which might have an operative by the first name Duyên like in my fanfiction universe) *Thailand *Norway *Finland *Sweden *Iceland *Denmark *Uganda *Botswana *Cambodia *Mozambique *Madagascar *South Africa *Uruguay *Bolivia *Chile *Argentina *Costa Rica *Turkey *Georgia (the country) *Ukraine *Russia *India *Nepal *Yemen (maybe Sector Y) *The United Arab Emirates *Zimbabwe *Taiwan (yes, Taiwan is an independent country) *Tibet (that's a country too) *Australia *New Zealand *And also, another Canadian sector (maybe a braniac one called Sector C²) and a few province-, state- and perfecture- based ones.
