I have a setback and did a big chop in September last year. This was a result of using gel constantly. The roots were thick. The rest much thinner. I am now cutting out chemicals and using natural diy products. I am incorporated a lot of what I have learned from you. I am seeing so much growth in such a short time. Keep up the good work.
I had to look up in my History to find this video just to drop this comment! I bought the *Rose Water & Glycerin, etc after watching your video yesterday. Today I used it and my goodness. 🤯 My hair is so soft and it dropping to the sides lool. Thank you so much my Queen! 🥰 Please do this my people.
Is she Nigerian?? She looks it's but I wasn't sure cuz she somewhat look like she from Nambia.she hella pretty though I can say that. Them lips and eyes
So i made a herbal tea spray to moisturize my hair between washes and i noticed a huge difference with far less breakage and shedding, literally from the next wash day! Thanks for the tips 😘
just want you to know that God loves you so much so that he gave his son Jesus, fully human and fully God to be a perfect sacrifice and die on the cross for our sins. One sin can take us to hell but by accepting what jesus' death burial and ressurection from the dead on the third day, if you truly believe that, you receive the holy spirit who changes your desires, who makes you seek after righteousness by convicting you of sin(which is what he did to me). If you accept Jesus, he grants you the gift of eternal life and give you purpose. God bless, i hope you see this.
Can we all take a moment to compliment her on her stunning beauty❤ Wow, you look like a majestic black and NATURAL Queen. I emphasize NATURAL because it's rare to find these days. Thank you for your videos ❤❤❤❤
Hello Lindsay I just love your personality And your hair tho. Thank you for taking care of your fellow black women. And frm now on i will never miss any of your vids Mama. Be safe
It’s pretty interesting how out of all the races we have to keep our hair wet. It’s like we belong in the water like mermaids. 🧜🏾♀️ lol it’s super feminine in my opinion. ❤
@@lindsaychrisharmonylol Surely mermaids have it much easier though 😉 ♥️ thanks for sharing your journey with us, it makes a difference. Hopefully next year I’ll have some good news to report back.
@@yoloxoxo4042ohhh no. I used to love mermaids, but for some reason I kinda got a phobia of them. Probably because thier tails looks like snakes. I am deathly afraid of snakes. 😅😵💫🤧
@@I.am.hookedthat’s because they are demonic.. they worship them in my country and they actually come out of the water to accept sacrifices.. marine spirits are responsible for a lot of problems people are facing . You need to RU-vid videos about their kingdom
first of all, look absolutely beautiful and elegant , second i have been wondering how to hydrate my hair without water alone cause I noticed it dries it out even more and breaks when I use water alone, and you have explained it beautifully. Thank you so much, i immediately subscribed cause I finally found someone who truly understands our hair and how it operates. its quite rare to find RU-vidrs who fully understand african hair , especially when the natural hair movement began. I'm so glad slowly by slowly ladies like you are coming up. People who you can relate to. I had to join your community.
A silent hair killer is tap water that is hard. Essentially hard water is the worst for your skin and hair. Please use rain water whenever you can to bath and use on your hair. You'll see such an absolute amazing change. Ever since I started using rain water, i actually have my curls popping without putting any product in. Wet or dry my curls are still visible
@@vanessa_81don’t be embarrassed it’s okay. It’s just catching the water in something when it rains. If you live in a highly polluted area you can also buy distilled water from the store for your hair. I do that
Thank you Lindsay for this information! I’m just 7 months in of trying to go back to being natural from years of relaxing my hair. . My hair is pass my shoulders. I won’t be doing the big chop so I have some ways to go 😅. This information is greatly appreciated as I’m a beginner at this. You have a new subscriber! Thank you for sharing what has helped you not only grow out your gorgeous hair but keep it healthy as well. Much love, God bless you. 💕
Welcome home. I went natural 6 years ago after wearing perm over 40 years. My hair was always past my shoulders and I did not big chop either. My hair is really thriving. I did roller sets while transitioning. Best decision I could have made to go natural. And you do not have to become a product junkie either. Good luck on your journey!
My lady, you keep getting more creative with the hairstyles, it's what crazy that 'black' hair has been neglected. You're doing the most, what a beauty. Edit: You're skin has improved, maybe have a separate channel for it. Nug, nug 😉
Our hairs would have been a lot better...done a lot better if they weren't neglected 🤦🏾♀️. But we now know better😊. Thanks for the compliment 🙈...a separate channel?🤔 am not ready yet..I don't know..maybe in the near future.. we'll see. Thanks though 😊
Oh and lastly i forgot to tell you that you skin is so beautiful and flawless. Im so happy you are natural because some of our African sisters use skin whitening .
I’m in a very dry climate so I had to stop using leave in conditioners cause I noticed it seemed to make my hair feel dryer. Since you mentioned that about glycerin which is a humectant, it seemed like it was pulling moisture out of my hair. Once I stopped using it and just did a light watery liquid spritz and seal with oil my hair felt softer.
Hi Lindsay, would you recommend the same approach for dreadlocks? I used the deep conditioner yesterday overnight, followed by, rinse, leave in, oil and cream(scalp only) this morning, my hair never felt better. Would you recommend cream on the locs, or scalp only trying to avoid buildup as I switch to 100% herbal? Thanks
Hi...I recommend the cream for the tips of your locs only...The oil for your scalp and body of your locs. No harm in using the cream for your scalp once in a while 😊
I agree, showed your video to a friend with 4C Low Porosity hair who was getting to the point of being scared to wash her hair as it just knotted up (today's tap water contains fluoride and limescale) and it she left it to dry naturally in a protective style it would be wet for days. She tried a tea rinse made with distilled water, 3 days after a henna treatment (which dried her hair out a little) and after watching your video. The tea rinse left her hair soft and drank up the tea within hours like a nourished starved plant.
Thank you for sharing! Glad your friend's hair experienced the goodness and nourishment from the Teas Rinse. She just needs to include it in her routine and watch her hair transform. Thank you again 😊
Good afternoon please I would like to ask you if you can a video on how you tuck.in your ends so beautifully. Please share 🙏🏾. Thank you in advance Much love to you and your beautiful family and thank you for all of your wonderful natural hair advice
@@BrownSugar_Endeavors Thank you so much! When I was younger, I was bullied for having lips like this. Today, people are paying to have full lips! God is good 😊
Thanks I am looking forward to stepping it up. This helped me understand why my hair feels and looks dry with just water. I need to moisturize. I will certainly implement these items and more often.
Thanks. You said we can drink & spray the teas. You mentioned bay leaves. Can one mske bay leaf tea & drink it or any of the other herbs that you mentioned in your video are they edible?
Greetings Goddess 👑 Video is on Point 🎯 Up in this Here Joint 🏡 Thank you so much for these tips & tricks... I must get back on the ball If I want my hair problems to be fixed! Let me throw away all this shampoo.... Get in my lab and make my Black Soap Shampoo and do the do!😳 Love you❤ Health 🥑 Wealth 💰 and Bliss ✨ #ladyduchess👑
Great video! I was very happy that you mentioned that glycerin can be harmful in certain climates. Almost all natural hair RU-vidrs I have seen fail to provide that information and it is crucial.
If you dont subscribe to any other natural hair Chanel you need to subscribe to this Chanel. No need to look no further. This lady will lead you to length retention and long natural hair. She is wise, patient, and the truth.💚🌱🍃🌿
@lindsaychrisharmony Queen im on a fixed income. If i put raw honey in spring water is honey in water good enough?? I also use a cream moisturizer after u spray the water.
Just found your channel a few days ago and subscribed immediately. Thanks for the great content! I started drinking my herbal tea yesterday and this is day 2. Prior to this, I would buy them, mostly green tea, but have not been nearly consistent with drinking them. I’ll have them for months after lol. 😂. That is going to change. My hair has refused to grow for years and I’m committed to changing that this year. I will definitely do a herbal tea rinse on my next wash day! ❤
The color change could be due to something that she uses or has been using on her hair... Regarding the dryness...does she have a remoisturising routine? She can try using a moisturizing Deep conditioner..that, plus have a remoisturising routine helps.
It's fine to use different teas... whether you are drinking them or spritzing...they only provide your body and your hair with goodness. Then as you use them, you might find out the one or ones you prefer to use. And if you are enjoy all the ones you are using them enjoy them all.
Thank you so much for your videos! I am learning so much! I have been natural for for 14 years and ready to give up on having long hair. I will try your methods they sound genuine. ❤ what do u recommend for itchy scalp?
Thank you for the valuable information. Beautiful as usual.😊 Can anyone confirm that it is only possible to buy the entire line and not just one product (deep conditioner)?
I abandoned plain water a few months ago. I have used only aloe vera juice on wash day and diy fenugreek tea and diy Amla tea to hydrate between wash days. My hair is shiny, thick, I have retained length and shedding has really been reduced. I had a huge shedding problem that I thought was just natural shedding until I began spritzing my scalp and hair with fenugreek tea every day between wash days! I spray my scalp with Amla Tea to enhance thickness. I also massage my scalp after spritzing with teas. Thank you for this video…it has affirmed the change I made!!
@@AnnalineRoenelOor Hello! Buy it! I know there are some who make it from the leaves….but, Whole Foods has it. Get the whole leaf. I use it to make my Rhassoul Clay mask and I spray my strands with it before applying oil, leave-in and flaxseed gel. Refrigerate any you have left in the bottle. Use a mister spray bottle. 🥰❤️
@@AnnalineRoenelOor Fenugreek tea is easily made by boiling Fenugreek seeds. Try 1/4 cup fenugreek seeds to 2-1/2 cups of water. Ring to a boil and reduce heat down to a low simmer. When the seeds are mushy and the water has a brownish color to it. Remove from heat and let cool. Strain into a separate dish/cup/measuring cup….let it continue to cool and then funnel into a mister bottle. You can add msm. Dissolve it into the fenugreek tea and use throughout the week. I use it daily… but, my hair is high porosity. I pitch the fenugreek seeds but some people keep them!! Good luck!! ❤️
Rain water is also fabulous as been said softens instantly unbelievable how good it is But you few stupid once you start as to why you havent been doing it sooner Coincidentally i drink rain water aftwr filtering all the time. You can't beat gods life force to us 🙏🏽
@@Poo531 No way. And you don’t let it touch the ground its caught through guttering. Into a water butt or other receptacle. Pour it through sand, pebbles, clay filter of some kind I then filter through Muslim just in case Boil half. Keep half cold to cool down hot on the head. Jobs as a gooden. It’s 1000 times more pure than the crap from the tap. And soo good for the hair. Changes the way it. Curls . Don’t knock it till you try it ! FYI get used to collecting water of your own if you can The way the world is going water will soon be a valuable resource.🙏🏽
ThanX for this Reminder/Tips FairyFro Godmother. Quick question: which Rosewater iz better for usage on the hair? Just saw that there's one for cooking/hair/face etc!
Hi Chris you look so elegant with your protective hairstyle and thank you a million times for teaching us about herbal teas which never came to my mind. Now I realize why a friend of mine's hair grow so fast because she only drink green tea. Wow 😮 we learn until we die. Have a blessed evening sister. From me here in South Africa.
So when you rinse your hair from shampoo and conditioner you rinse it with a bucket of tea, aloe water or glycerin? How much water do you use? Is it like a bucket? Sorry if this feels like a dumb question
Aww..good morning lovely. I have watched all of your videos so far. They are very, very educational and I do plan to place my order for a full package soon. I know that we get 1 container of the herbal tea. Is that just one type of tea? I've read about the different types you discuss. I wanted to know if you sell more than one type of herbal tea, OR, are you telling us about teas that we can buy ourselves? Your hair is lovely.
@@kimclarke7737 oh dear..am sorry I didn't understand your question. Yes the herbal tea in the set is the one you get. Yes am telling y'all about these other teas so that you are aware and so that you can buy the ones that are accessible to you and add to your routine 😊. Thanks a lot for your support...I appreciate you
What measurements for the main ingredients you use for the recipe with flax seeds, curry leaves in the moisterizing deep conditioner… Thanks in advance
Yes I think you are doing too much with the Shea butter and grease. You can choose to use oil and Shea butter per time...or oil and grease...I mean not the two at once. Hope you get it
What can I do to my hair? It’s very stubborn and doesn’t soften except I put in leave-in conditioner, then it sheds a lot after I loose my hair and wash it shampoo and conditioner. Even when I want to style it, it sheds. Please I need advise urgently, thank you.
Be consistent with deep conditioning(a good moisturising deep conditioner) your hair every 2 to 3 weeks (wash and deep condition every 2 to 3 weeks)...and remoisturise your hair in-between wash days.
You're really amazing. You're an advocate of natural hair and I love that.I don't fast forward when watching your videos because they make sense a lot and they're practical😅. Stay beautiful. My hair that is close to the front is thinner and my scalp flakes. Any suggestion?
Thank you! I have a video on Scalp exfoliation...you should watch and if you are consistent, it helps with flaky scalp. Use a herbal oil or jojoba oil to do light massages for your front hair. And avoid any hair style that'll cause tension on your scalp generally. I hope these help
