8:22 "What the heck is this?!? That is NOT my Evie!" he said, over top of the replacement actress's line of "Honestly, l can say she's a completely different person." One of the best moments of a movie script acknowledging a casting change. Surpassed only by Iron Man 2's "Look, it's me. I'm here. Deal with it. Let's move on" for Don Cheadle's first line as Rhodey.
The first Scorpion King movie is the only one in that franchise worth watching. The Mummy animated series is definitely worth watching, especially if you love the first two films. As for modern retellings of Universal monster movies, Van Helsing and Dracula Untold are pretty entertaining
I don’t mind this one feels fresh the only things about this one that annoys me is the cast change for Evelyn and the acting from Alex and Lin other than that it’s pretty good
I can get behind Evelyn being played by someone else so that doesn’t bother me too much but Alex not having an English accent does bother me a little bit
Brendan and the new actress playing Evie just didn't have the same chemistry as he did with Rachel Weisz. If you haven't seen them the original live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and even all 4 of the live action Scooby Doo movies would be awesome. The 2 prequel Scooby Doo movies have different actors but they're kind of fun anyway.
For some reason, as a child, I watched the triquel first of the entire trilogy. Revising it now, I'm a little embarrassed that it partially repeats the original.
They were going to make a 4th one, the movie had bad reception but the box office was acceptable for that time, sadly the MCU came and set a new standard on how much money a blockbuster could make, they cancelled the sequel and tried their own "universe" that failed miserably
This movie definitely wasn't my favorite of the trilogy. But please definitely react to the live action Scooby Doo movies. Matthew Lillard is an amazing Shaggy. ♡
Yeah, Rick, it's not like we haven't used magic items to defeat your enemies int he past. I mean, we read Imhotep a little magic story from a book in part 1. Part 2, that wasn't a wooden stake you plunged into the Scorpion King's chest. So. . .maybe we trust Alex's judgment here? Hmm?
Fun thing. One of the Chinese emperors conqured a lot of land then turn to mystic means to extend his life. Died of what was likely mercury poisoning. His legacy - the terracotta army
Not my favorite Mummy movie, but I enjoy it. I'm still sad that Rachel Weisz couldn't reprise her role as Evie. I'm a huge Jet Li fan. I hope that you can check out his other movies. My favorites are: Kiss of the Dragon, The One, The Forbidden Kingdom, and The Hero.
this may not be the best film in the series but it was refreshing. The thing i didlike about the movie is the new Evie. the actress and Brendan don't really have any chemistry but it we had Rachel back it would have been interesting to see her out of her element since she is knowledgeable of of Egypt and having to deal with mummies of another culture would have been fun to see because mummies arent just found in Egypt and having Alex have his own adventure even though he really should have learn from his parents to not awaken any mummies
from what I've read, Rachel Weisz (original Evelyn) wasn't comfortable playing a character with an adult son, so they recast Maria Bello as Evelyn. Personally I think she did a good job, but understand the hate
Rachel Weisz sadly couldn't appear because the filming was in China and she was just finishing another movie, they recasted her for Maria Bello, that's the only thing in the movie I didn't like, apart from the "bad dad" subplot with Alex, I thought the son was too ungrateful after how they saved him in the second movie
With West Side Story 2021 coming to Disney Plus next week, you should do a double feature of the original film and the remake. Like what you did with Jungle Book and Aladdin
Maria Bello replaced Evelyn O'Connell as Rachel Weisz because Weisz didn't want to be thought of as being so old as to have a 21-year-old son per the director.
You will love sonic. Its a fun movie. The scooby do movies will seem like they should be rated higher than pg lets just say that. Lots of inside jokes that i never got until i was older. Also unrelated note, i didnt know you were lgbt, i had some suspicion but im happy for you. You are very cute cody
Also they where gonna make another mummy that takes place after this one in Peru I believe but they scrapped it e cause they wanted to make their own cinematic universe which was a complete failure
Yes I would love to see your reaction to a live actions of Scooby-Doo but can you do the animated movies of Scooby-Doo as well because everyone does the live-action ones but I haven't found anyone that's reacted to the animations
yo i love these mummy movies so much not so much the tom cruise 1 though that foresure wasnt great at all but u should definitely watch those scooby doo movies i love those as well
I'll never understand the hate for this one amongst those who like this sort of stuff. Like, did ya see the other two? Yeah, how are you suddenly Gene Siskel with your critical scrutiny goggles on with THIS one? It's Mummy 3, it provides the same kind of quality entertainment the other two have. The Mummy is big dumb fun, The Mummy Returns is more dumb and less fun though still watchable... The Mummy TotDE follows through on what the other two did... If the first two is your digs, how do you not at least find enjoyment in Dragon Emperor??
This was an good action good Flix, and not much more. Sorry was weak, the actress playing Evie was distractingly off, just not my favorite movies. Yes; watch Scooby-Doo, fun movies
I didn't know you where gay, that means I can finally tell you how hot you look. This one defiantly wasn't the best of the three. I would rate it second after the original.
