My Partner got scammed by Rich Litvin. My partner ended up trying to take their own life as a large part of this scam after loosing $$$$$. This entire “Life Coaching Business” is dangerous.
Coach: "hAvE tHe cOUrAGe tO tHInK fOr yOUrSelF" Me: "Okay, no then." Coach: "No, not like that. Be brave and give me your money. Stop being a people pleaser."
These tactics again remind me of the similarity between these pitches and those used by MLMs when recruiting reps. "Put this starter kit on a credit card - you will for sure make back your investment" - same bs!
OH MY GOD YES. A girl tried to recruit me into Arbonne "you wouldn't open a Starbucks without inventory, consider this an investment in your future store" LOL
Great video! I am an artist and am constantly bombarded on social media with other artist's selling their "foolproof methods to earn $$$$$ selling your artwork". I occasionally try and find THEIR artwork online or any sign of it and never can. Their knowledge is so deep yet they apparently cannot even sell their own work. It's all nonsense and ripping people off, very often folks who cannot afford it. Very aggravating.
Absolutely. Not sure if you have seen this interview: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yHHBW5r80fg.htmlsi=56OSIOpSBD9fhzl7 but Autumn speaks to her experience as an illustrator getting sucked into exactly what you are talking about here. It's so deceptive and icky.
"A woo woo cheerleader telling me to believe in myself"...that basically sums up what all these "coaches"/programs are...no practical information or practical steps at all other than "Give me your money to prove your faith". So glad you're helping spread awareness about this phenomenon.
@@Josh-gu5fy like if these people were actually making this much money doing the thing they say they are doing, surely they wouldn’t need to sell me a course about it right???
"Raise your hand if you are willing to invest in yourself........." "Raise your hand, if you are ready to do whatever it takes to step in to your dream life....." "Raise your hand, if you know you have more inside you to offer to the World....."
RU-vid is completely plagued with this garbage. They are all the same, tiny channels, inconceivably selling coaching on how to make money form RU-vid?!, they all say the same thing and even more ridiculous are the comments full of the same weirdos saying the same sht, its like this weird tiny loop that goes nowhere , the blog post you mentioned written by another coach seems very typical.
I call it a circular business model. You pay me to teach you how to get that person to pay you, to teach them how to get that other person to pay them, etc etc. Don't even get me started on the RU-vid channels built on teaching you how to build a RU-vid channel..... I can't take it.
Yes, paying a lot for a lot of hot air is silly. I tried this once; I said to a guy promising unvbelieveable returns that I would give him 100 dollars and he could keep everything he earned after just doubling my $100. Of course he came up with reasons why it was important that I do it (after paying him thousands of course). I also said "Hey, if you can get 1000% returns or whatever, why do you bother to do this?" He didn't answer that one. I calculated that if his returns were true, he should be a billionaire. I really dont like these scammers.
Good coaching programs teach you a skill ortechnique. The sales pitch to a good coaching program should focus on the what will be taught and instilled rather than results you'll have after, but even those with legit use cases are crazily over priced.
0:30 I was told there is good and bad debt to convince me to buy and I went against my gut and purchased. They only ever charged me half and did not notice they never charged me the full amount $3000.
