.....but they'll continue this behaviour Tomo because 99% of the population believe everything these members of the police farce say.... Well done ToPlodorNotToPlod 👍
Really. He still schooled those 2 coppers though. What the cameraman is doing is not illegal, he's breaking no laws and those 2 idiot coppers should mind their own business and do what they're paid from public funds to do, harass criminals rather than someone who's breaking no laws.
"I don't understand what you are doing" You don't have to understand. What to have to do it determine if it is lawful. Anything more than that is beyond your remit as a police officer.
Actually, they do have to understand in order to determine if your behaviour is lawful mainly due to INTENT. Otherwise they may very well suspect otherwise, which is the entire reason why these conversations are so long and wasteful.
Ex copper from the 70's, 80's, I cannot believe how ignorant of the law these officers are, it's been stated by the Chief Officers of Police for years that any member of the public can film in any public place and film anything that can be seen from a public place and commit no crime. Absolutely down to poor training. In my day a lack of knowledge such as you expose would have caused my Sergeant to kick my arse! Also, I hate the aggression, the body armour, the lack of head gear and ties. In 1976 for two weeks, the only time in my career we were allowed to go on the street without ties, God forbid if you stepped out of a vehicle or police station without headgear on. A lovely old copper at training school told us, be polite, you are the servant to the public, their uniform representative, call them sir or madam (not easy these days) because if you start off sort, you will probably resolve 90% of problems, but also, starting off soft means you can get hard and if necessary f@@k an arsehole up, but start off hard and you can never go back to soft.
I was stopped back in the 80's by a single PC just for a routine vehicle tax check, because he didn't have his hat on he apologised stat ❤️ he's left it in his vehicle and told me that as there was nothing he could do I should carry on.i asked him why and he confessed that he was not in full uniform and didn't want to delay me further while he went an retrieved it.
Coppers say they received a complaint but it is 99.9% always a lie. Their goal is to put you on the defensive but when you challenge them they almost always do the walk of shame.
I know the urge to comment is strongest from kids and council estate dwellers, but really, if you fall into either of these categories try to understand that your opinion is poorly formed and of little importance to anyone.
@@thehonestcritic6577 Job? Basically demanding information from an innocent member of the public, doing nothing untoward? That's hardly doing their job. I thought catching wrongdoing is high up in their job description?
Could you imagine them two giving evidence in court, no wonder the force is under special measures and the fact most of them haven't made an arrest in the last year.
I have looked on the degradation of the PO LICE since err 1995 it was in that year there was something wrong with the force I explain 3 people I know In our cycle club tried to get into police My beloved son Tony 6f 3 inch of muscles he trained loads another guy, and Simon was fit he raced but was only 5 f 4 inch and had a high pitched voice (we called him squeaker) Squeaker passed my son NO they wont tell you why you failed unless you try again The answer came back Mr Tony touched his tie a few times and moved his pencil on the desk ?? he failed Simon lasted a year they sent him out in a police clothes to big with an 18 stone police woman Simon left
You should tell the police that dash cams also film vehicles going past. Are these cops going to arrest Halfords for selling dash cam? No of course not, because it’s perfectly legal. It’s funny how the police actually want dash cam footage sent to them.
Imagine trying to impose your authority on a member of the public, that's doing nothing illegal, these police officers should fill that time arresting criminals.
Bernie Boombeat They had plenty of practice over the past two years,of arresting members of the public who'd done nothing wrong. With the current Bills going through Parliament, the Stasi will soon be having a field day.
Ignorance of the Law is no excuse. These two officers have breached GDPR legislation & the Mets own policy 3.5.5 which informs all officers that they must inform all members of the Public that they are being recorded. Utter disgrace
@@wyrdscynce if they got into trouble, then they would start to respect the Law. The fact that they do not get punished means they decide that this law is not worth worrying about. Utter disgrace by law enforcement officers
I have recently experienced the horrors of the most appalling police misconduct - being falsely accused by the manipulative instruction of my narcissistic ex. It has reached a point now that if my ex partner murdered me...the police would come and arrest my corpse! They are an absolute joke. Good on you, dear man. X
1:00 Pause on this snooty face... "There's a public buildin', where?" If they want the police to be privatised they should have their way and stop stealing our taxes.
Yes I know exactly where your coming from , happened nearly 20 years ago yet I shall never forget that diabolical episode Being threatened with arrest , as the victim not the perpetrator
They cannot seem to grasp the fact that when they switch on their camera they become a data handler under GDPR and it is a persons legal right to request a copy of that recording, however, if they fail to notify the person at the earliest opportunity, they may not be aware a recording could be available to cover their defence if required. A member of the public does not have to notify them if recording they are not a government body in a public place. Not all members of the public have a camera, so need to know that there is a recording of the interaction.
Yeah your right, she couldn't wait to get away and hop into the van, where she rewarded herself with a "comfort" drink of water to sooth her pissed off feelings
So sad that a member of the public has to educate the police on the laws of the land. If photography or video was illegal then cameras wouldnt be sold . Great vid keep up the great content
Does she not realise that the correct and polite thing to do, when a member of the public is talking to her, is to listen to them, not overspeak them and not to walk away when that person is still talking to them?
It's always a shock to them when they learn that they really aren't as important as they think they are and they have to abide by codes of practice when confronting the public. You could tell she was dumbstruck by it. Hard luck love, you thought you had the perfect opportunity to boss someone round but it backfired.
Be interesting to see if they would even approach this man if he wore a turban, or if he would be allowed to go about his day as one of the untouchables.
The police should tell these so called callers that nothing is being done wrong.they obviously are unaware of law suspicion and pander to someone who is upset
As soon as they state there has been a complaint you should ask for the log number, else dismiss them with a warning their actions will be reported, and legal action may be taken at any time in the future. I hope you sent this video the their "PCC" asking why these people are employed with no knowledge of the law haha Also loved how you told them they are a PRIVATE CORPORATION, which is true, and all "COUNCILS" are the same, as are Tesco, Asda, BT, Sky etc
They are as corrupt as can possibly be. I gave up trusting the plod a long time ago. I am no crook but when you ask for something to be looked into and they threatened me with arrest you know that there is something seriously wrong with them.
Cop says i dont understand why you are filming the police station i would have said i dont understand why two police officers took pictures of two dead girls and shared them with fellow officers.
Members of the public questioning another member of the public... The police are the public and the public are the police - this is where policing by consent comes from.
It's so awful when these idiots march up to you without being asked and give you permission to do something which is obviously legal. Appalling people, great work as always Plod.
@@porthmeor1 Of course he is prompting a challenge...that's how truths are established. It is legal to film anything you can see from a public area, as the proliferation of cctv is testament to.
Plod is undoubtedly the best UK Auditor in terms of the 'legalities' of the Auditing. He's sent more coppers packing due to knowing the Law, his Rights and their Policies than I've had hot dinners.
can you imagine the abuse of power and corruption that went on for over a century by the Police before citizen journalists and cameras came on the scene. The frame ups , the lying , the physical abuse....the mind boggles.
Hopefully her family and friends will see what she does at work. Mind you, attitudes like that are not generally just a work place problem, and those close to her will already be well aware of her lying and scheming.
Do you have some sort of paranoid delusions? Talk about reading stuff into a person's behaviour that clearly isn't there "those close to her will already be well aware of her lying and scheming" hahahahahahahaha
Yes! Nobody lives on Mars even the police can't hide there?... The WPC has a critical attude towards the citizen She deserves no respect in return...those close to her should not be proud but dismayed.
“There have been concerns from the public for you filming.” No, it’s all about themselves! Obviously the Police State - police not under control by the state - is present. This corruption will grow if the public doesn’t deal with it!
Hello from Australia again Mr Plod. I must say that when i see that you've posted a new video, I'm very quick to watch it!! LOL! i just love the way that you bring the ignorant power-mad know-it-all Cops down to earth!! You have me in stiches with your comments to them, so much so, that i rewind again and again!! LOL!
It is amazing, after all this time, how utterly clueless these bizzies are. The question is, will they have gained anything from the encounter? Well these vids seem to answer that.
@@bramwell948 Do you have a dictionary handy? You know, one of those big papery things that tells you what words mean. Have a look at "hypocrite" and see if that is what you meant. Spoiler alert, It doesn't mean that I have said something with which you don't agree. If you thought that vid showed professional policing of a standard the public deserve, then say so and we can have an adult conversation about it.
@@bramwell948 That's better, good word and applicable. You just need to be careful and say what you mean or risk appearing thick. Now tell us all how we should "grow up" and why these police do not deserve criticism for the interaction in the video...No? I didn't think so.
My 20yo son keeps getting stopped and harresed by by the police when he's cruising around town every weekend, just because he's got a flashy car he spends every penny on it, he doesn't smoke drink or take drugs yet his car is searched for drugs on a regular basis, I had to phone the station and tell the sergeant that if he's stopped again without due cause. I personally would sue for harassment
Broken GDPR law, embarrassed themselves, were unprofessional. Poor policing. These individuals need re-training ASAP and relieving of their duty until such training has taken place. Obviously fast-tracked recruits.
If I as a member of the public reported that I'd seen someone standing on 1 leg, rubbing his tummy and tapping his head, would these 2 PC's go and interogate the person as to why they were doing that?
It went from a 'hearsay' report of no offence to 'hearsay' of 'hearsay' of no offence. Just another example of the Met Police fitting up policy and training.
More law training in the class room required to these individuals . How do they ever let these children out on the street as police personnel without knowing their job or the law ?
Because the entry standards were lowered so they could get more people into the police. I remember back in the 1970's the minimum height for a cop was 5' 8", it has since been scrapped as there are not that many people that height who want to be in the bully gang.
What you were saying to both of them was absolutely spot on and kept very to the point. I would say however, as a safeguard for YOU, should it ever escalate and you need to take legal action against unlawful misuse of their powers, that if you could keep YOUR tone down, calm and remain VERY logical as you were, it would undermine ANYTHING they choose to fabricate in court. You see both of them doing that deliberate calmness, even thought their clear LACK of any logic shone through and they knew they had to walk away in shame
Once again TPONTP, nicely handled, police officers will put their own spin and narrative on a received allegation so they can then pursue that line of questioning to fit around their investigation. If you're good at challenging the police and can do it in a calm, polite and assertive way, then most of the time it should all go well for you, but always be prepared for unforseen surprises because some PCs hate loosing control of a situation or an argument, it upsets them and they can retaliate in some way, usually by unlawfully abusing a specific legislative act and conducting a search of your person.
So embarrassing two so called trained and professional officers acting like untrained bullies. You would like to think they would have more important things to do, lead swinging rubbish, making it up as they go, i would just ignore them, you were doing nothing illegal, pair of amateurs , they all think they are The Sweeney.
Another angle on this......camera's are just for happy snaps on holiday, birthday's and christmas. No car, architectural, nature or landscape stuff is allowed. Note the allegation was about taking pictures of cars. They really don't think these allegations through do they? In her head, either car photography is illegal, or it's a desperate tactic to get subject information.
The officers were sitting in their vehicle wondering if the rash on their rear ends would heal by the time their shift ended...This guy should wear a T-shirt that says "Operating under color of law...approach carefully"...
You are born again hard 👍 these 2 planks were just the next shift in a van this time thinking your àrse would collapse as a van with a team of planks rolls up. The WPC turned tail with a petted lip "aw diddums" 🤣
He ambles to the police mans door. Polite and straight with wisdom of law,. A jolly chap who's there for debate,. Won't take lies of which we all hate,. He stands for our freedoms against tyranny ana distain,. They can't move him on with his right to remain,. They huddle and confer to find an unknown law, With rage in their faces their jaws hit the floor,. The last one with ego will try a little more,. But Plods still standing at the police mans door,. He's there for peace he's not there is for war,. It's the peoples right to film the law,. It's all about transparency it there in black and white,. And as for you Mr Plod what you do is Right,
I only watch you and AB. Your videos are like no other. I can't watch other uploaders who are just popping up like weeks, they just copy. You are very quick on your feet and I find it very informative
I have family members in the police, but they would be classed as old school nowadays because of their ages. Nowadays, it's the the older kids at school have been given the right and good money to look after the infants. Quick, runaway we've been caught bullying the little kids!
Well done to all the police..they must be on top of all the crime ..so they have loads of time on their hands to check every member of the public with a camera ..crime won't crack itself
"What law am I alleged to have broken officer so I can look it up on my phone here?" That should stop them because if they can't quote the law you've broken they don't know/ can't show you've broken a law surely.
Well done. Exposing the arrogance and utter ineptitude at the rotten heart of British police. It's fuelled by a fatal combination of poor training, even poorer leadership and endemic, sneering contempt for the people they are supposed to serve. Just look at the Stasi-level of 'thought policing that's going on at the moment, compared to several forces (including the biggest, the Met) being is special measures for failing to catch actual criminals, such as terrorists, violent offenders and sex traffickers. smh
