I love the way cops make out they're concerned for your welfare when really all they want to do is look for a reason to arrest you or fine you. Also when a copper gets angry he obviously suddenly feels powerless and frustrated because of it.
I wonder if he warned the owners of the cars parked blocking the footpath and also advise them there is a car park on the other side of the street. I have noticed that illegal parking outside polices around the country is a problem, even when huge parking areas are available. Cars are parked on pavements, double yellow lines and loading bays. Surly the Head of Station is aware of this and arrange for adequate parking bays be made and used.

The argument the Police would use against that (which sadly would be believed by the unthinking of this country when conveyed by The Sun and the Daily Mail) is that it would lead to Constables pausing to consider the personal outcome for themselves before wading into an incident. I've watched quite a few of these recently and one main constant which would go a huge long way with public relations is a simple "Good morning/Afternoon" from the officers as they walk past. It's extremely rare, but not only from police it's rare in society in general which is a shame. It's amazing how far it goes to brighten up your day saying hello to stranger. If I saw that from 90% instead of just ignoring you I'd say that's the best possible outcome. Anyone reading this try it yourself when you next walk down a street in your home town. Funny how they always want to check if you're ok, but never ask that question outright. They resort to some sort of directives or attempt to get personal details. Then when they find that you know the law, it turns into them just seeing if you're ok.

Every video i have seen, from all sorts of auditor's, has the exact same thing. Very rarely do they tell the public their body cam is on. When challenged, they all do the exact same thing............brush over it and change the subject. Not a single one ever apologises. Keep up the good work by challenging them
If they are so concerned about people's welfare and asking them if they are okay, you would think they might attend actual scenes of crimes like burglary and theft, or perhaps being in a public place with a camera is deemed more stressful than being the victim of a crime

Why aren’t the police subjected to exactly the same type of principles as every other employee in any other job ? The thin (thick) blue line protects them until pension age no matter what they do wrong ! If we all had that privilege there would be no unemployed.
You should have been more grateful to that rozzer for telling you where you were. What if you had spun the wrong way too quickly and got all muddled up. You may have lost all your bearings and become hopelessly lost, at least you would have known where you had been and could start over. Make sense???
When I was a kid a copper came up to me & my friends asked me if I new a ( my name) I was very nervous didn't say anything at first after a while I said well that's me, he grabbed me by the neck & shouted at me,very scary for a small boy.some things you never forget.

How is a civil court going to impact on a police officers job, it isn't. Criminal Courts are the place that you can get a conviction which may then effect the officers employment, but a civil court has no power over his job. Surely you know this? If you don't you should.
To be a good auditor you need to let the argument come to you, you do have an argumentative approach and to be honest I avoid your videos for this reason.

That first guy was pretty decent to be fair, you came across as quite antagonistic and stand-offish. Not sure he deserved that, there are far better targets to audit than that nice chap. Shame really; didn't give your audit any credence.
@whybother now This is not the same. If you are offered an amount out of court and you turn it down there is a risk that the court will order a lesser amount. The court takes the view that you have been unreasonable in forcing court costs so they may order you to pay. That is why no win no fee lawyers will only take on cases that they are likely to win.

At times you are ruder to the police than is necessary. If a policeman sees someone skulking around the police station there is nothing wrong in him asking what you are doing.
I wish you would come down investigate Hastings Police Station they still refusing to give me the name and number of the police officer that brutally attacked me I told them I was a 60-year old woman in your health he just laughed and carry on attacking me all 14 police officers see this it happened in the grounds of helenswood school but not one of them I could identify the police officer not even the two police women Morley and Williams Who escorted me to Hastings custody suite where Sergeant giles York was in charge on the 17th of October but has he stated he doesn't have to make a comment but when I asked for the name of the police officer they refused me a solicitor heard it then they said re-arrested me and when I said that you just said I was free to go I committed no crime so why you are rearrested they said we're investigating I said but why they said were investigating I looked at the solicitor and he just nodded I want to know why all this corruptions going on there and solicitors are keeping quiet when they all see what happened I was wrongfully arrested in the grounds of helenswood school 4 over 8 hours then they said I was free to go because I asked for a policeman's name and number that brutally assaulted me they are put me back in the cells and said they are investigating they still refusing to give me the name of the police officer they have lied and give me two names which were not the police officer that arrested me they could have been two police officers all mask up at the back in a long line but they definitely wasn't the police officers that arrested me I need help because I'm valuable and don't know how to go about seeking Justice and there's no help out there GN law from London said I've got a case but he's declined to take it any further because it'll cost too much PC adsett and PC Watts both committed perjury in Hastings Magistrates Court they were not the police officers who arrested me over20 cameras all malfunctioned even the custody suite we had the inspectors go in there and they agree with me and agreed the police and they are outcome with they just need training hold on I was brutally assaulted and I want the name and number of the police officer that brutally assaulted me which they are denying me he's name Sergeant Elms did not lie when he said he was in charge of Hastings but what forgot to tell the inspectors he was in charge of the whole of Hastings and he was never in Hastings on that date sergeant giles york was in charge of East Sussex custody suite on that day it was giles York who I now hear has resigned retired see they make so many lies first before we resigned and now he's retired and he doesn't have to answer doesn't have to speak hold on he was the one that put me back in the cells when I asked for the policeman's name and number what is he covering up with the custody suite cameras I told them I wanted this police officer charged with brutal assault they also put my haelth in danger by putting the cold air on and freezing me out Mike Riley from Richard body and co solicitors coming witness this because the police officer tried to say no no no it just circulates and go out the top well no before Riley come you are all laughing when you turned it up freezing me out and gave me a dirty blanket when I'm said I'm freezing cold in it was the 17th of October and I'm in ill health when the solicitor looked at the police officer he bent down and said so it must be broken but nobody was called in to fix it they are withholding the truth they are criminals and I need help to get Justice I protest outside Hastings Police Station when I'm feeling better and they go pass trying to intimidate me by laughing at me and waving and what's even worse they try to have me section just to cover up a crime one of their police officers done what's going on with Hastings Police Station they are above the law I cannot get justice they are criminals these two police officers stated to the judge when the judge asks where was your camera he said it was such an emergency he left it in the car and yet I've got a statement where he was asked by somebody else where was his camera he said he did take footage of it but due to him rewinding it it all malfunctioned I made it quite clear I wanted cameras from helenswood school because they've got the evidence also two police women who witnessed it all all cameras malfunctioned even car cams they were just covering up for a criminal in police uniform Hastings Police Station is the disgrace I am Dawn Dean please try and help me

Strange the constant questions about your well being tend to centre around someone when they are holding a camera. So concerned about your welfare are they, they break the law to record you. Don’t seem to ever apologise or address that one. It’s hoping it will become so commonplace it goes by default. They don’t however give the same attitude to the public breaking laws. You’re going over 30mph . Oh that’s ok I always do that!
Bone crunchers them gates! Police should employ gate keepers and carpark attendants,all on minimum wage. Then they could go and do some real police work and catch some burglars!
@To plod Or not to plod Can you please post the section of GDPR legislation that makes it an offence to record without informing a member of the public, and who that applies to specifically? I suspect we may have grounds for a lot of complaints and prosecutions of various government employees and subcontractors committing such offences. It’s also possible that video footage used in evidence may not be admissible in court if it was obtained covertly.
The Sarge was polite and asking questions is fine. The problem is they normally go way too far with the questions, but Sarge realised he'd gotten all he could and walked away politely, so Kudos to him. Well done for ignoring the other officer until he walked closer, although he was polite and addressed you as sir, but again not telling public they are recording them is becoming more widespread.
