CFA 3 candidate here. I think this one hits heavy for me. I failed level 2 a couple of times and I took the step Friday to defer my exam. I think I wouldn’t have failed had I not focused on the goal post of the obligation, but rather to take time with the process. “I can’t keep going on but what am I going to do?” And I thought to the behavioral bais reading and loss aversion comes to mind. Sometimes it’s better to take a loss (defer until later) than hope the bad investment (not feeling confident enough to pass and taking it anyway) pays out. Winners average winners, losers average losers. Cut your losses and reassess. “The woods are lovely, dark and deep”
