You just might have saved me a few (more that a few) $$$. I have a large garage and room but my new pontoon would not fit in the door on the trailer. My next quest is to get the pontoon off the trailer onto the dollies …

On the dolly's, what angle did you cut those 2 by's at so the toons sit flush?

I believe it was between 15 and 22-1/2...I held a piece of scrap next to toon and eyeballed it

nt I've seen pontoon tubes at the eylets bent inward by pulling just as you did. You should get a, inch to inch and a half pipe longer than the distance between eyelet, then attach the pipe to eyelet on both sides with a strap. pull on the middle of the pipe. By doing this there is no inward pressure on the tubes, only straight ahead pulling pressure. Other than that, great video.

Overkill for the winch mount in my opinion. You could have just gone with direct mount to the wall into stud. One the boat is on casters, there is very little weight to move.

How did you make the dollies?

They're just 2x12 treated pine doubled up and screwd together. The cleats cut with circular saw and screwd to cart across the grain of cart wood( you want the grain to run left -right under pontoon) then 4 casters screwd to bottom corners of each cart. If you pause video in beginning you can see how carts are together. I apologize that I don't have a video on that but would be happy to answer any questions, thnx
