Good word, Jim! Important reminder to us all that we are connected to each other and the memories created by spending TIME with others turns out to be the memories we cherish most. Bravo!! ❤
Yes, real men do cry, as I weep for others and for the things that touch me in my life. It is not a weakness, but a source of strength. I want to be more like Jesus who wept for others and us. Don't mean to preach but just sharing my heart. Best wishes to all.
Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God (Yah), and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. ... Also he gives his spirit to those who obey ... also, obedience is BETTER than sacrifice ... .. "if you love me keep my commandments"...
Thanks for reminding me to remember to live. I'd quit living, because three years ago April 27 2021, I lost my wife, my life long love and friend of over 50+ years to Covid vaccine. We did everything together, we were inseparable. Then my best friend of 50+ years passed, three months later. Then our family pet passed leaving me really, all alone. We had no children, my wife had three miscarriages, so I'm all alone.. It's hard to carry on. I'm now retired and disabled with no one to talk to, because I'm all alone.. All I have now are the memories.. Have a good day..
God bless you, Sir 🙏 you are not alone in this hard road to walk thru. Reach out to your community and share your memories with others. The generation behind you need to know and learn from your experiences. ❤
Wonderful video from the heart, Bill. I cried over a TV show last night, which I have never done before. As we live longer, these issues become more real. Lost my husband in 2020, and I find that being able to talk about him to others keeps his memory alive. Bless you for giving that gift to the older gentleman. It does us good to think of eternal things while making earthly memories.
Yesterday is history, today is God's present, tomorrow is a mystery. Everyone needs to make memories and live. I was hit head on Monday and feel very fortunate to have survived.
Your thoughts are exactly how I always feel after losing my dad and uncle of late. Always push forward, make new memories and share them to others and learn to be better each day! Thank you for sharing! Best to you guys.
At 5:41 minutes in I am weeping like a baby. Man, I a am with you. This really hits me. Just lost my brother who was 71. Thanks for you videos. They mean more than you can imagine.
Thanks for this video Bill. A few days ago my wife was diagnosed with lung cancer thats spread to her bones. Soon that's all I'll have of left of her. Memories. We go about our daily lives, not realizing how precious every moment is.
I lost my wife in 2017 I miss her so much. I have some very special memories of her and the short we had together.. Show your love ones that you love them now before it's too late.
That was a great Billosophical moment. Have you ever heard of the poem The Dash? If not google it. In a nutshell, when we are gone there is the date we were born and the date we died with a dash in between. That little dash represents our entire life. Live your dash!
Some awesome pics! Maybe it’s just me but I think slideshow are the best! Yeah, videos are good but there’s just something so relaxing about the slideshow.
Hey Bill like all your videos enjoy following you on utube like many of things that you all do but one thing I can't find where did you get your decal so anyway keep up the good work You and Ms Deb❤
I remember a story you told a long time back about your interest in a career in the music industry. The story ended with talk of broken promises and disingenuous people. You know not all fame comes on stage and not all popularity comes with champagne and roses and not all wealth comes with dollar signs. You sir have been rewarded with all of those things in a more pure form and I applaud you for it.
That was awesome Bill. Oh wait, I need to grab a box of tissues. Sometimes you just got to let those emotions out. It’s a good thing. God decides when our time is done here on earth. You have to savor every second that you have while you’re here. Say I love to to the ones that you care about every chance you get. Live like it’s your last day.
For me this video was a perfect reminder to breathe, take time each day to reflect even if it makes me a little emotional. I guess that's where the saying , That Really Touches My Heart came from. Be safe and be well.

(Ducky died? 🥺😢 Spoiler) My Mom passed, way too soon, 17 years ago. My son has been gone 15 years. I'm a volunteer at Find-a-Grave... and recently I found the quote: " a person dies twice... once, when the body passes, and the last time, when their name is spoken for the last time..." Thanks for this video, Bill 🥰 So many people don't realize how Final a person's passing is, and if it comes suddenly -- there's no second chance to say Goodbye. No second chance, to tell them how you feel about them. Always tell your loved ones how you feel. My last 'words' to my son were 🤟🏻. He raised his arm, and 🤟🏻 back, as he walked out of the store with his buddy. The next day, in the midst of rain, thunder and lightning, a trooper came to give me the news 💔 My grandmother always wanted to spend a "shopping" day with me. When I was expecting my second child, we did. Two days later, she choked on an orange segment she'd been peeling and eating. But there were no regrets -- no, "I wish we had...". Sorry, getting long-winded. My second husband had a heart attack in my arms, 2y3m6d after we married. We were doing what we wanted. While I would have liked more time with him, he left my kids with a positive image of what a Good Man and Dad should be. ❤ Tell your loved ones you love them. Don't be embarrassed. Tell those stories, share those thoughts!! Thanks Bill, and Deb 🥰🌹🙏🏻😊
Just watched your slide show. Thank you for sharing your memories. I encourage everyone to get out there and make some memories. Those are what we take with us, not the things but the time spent with others..Like you I am living, I encourage all those watching to do the same. P.S. I still have tears coming down. Thanks for your video.
My mom passed away last year, today is her birthday. I went looking for my passport and some keys that we haven't found yet. Found so many sentimental things she had kept through several moves
It's ironic, isn't it? Things we would normally take for granted now have special meaning. I remember when my brother-in-law passed away, after the funeral, and my sister began to reorganize her life without him, she found notes hidden here and there with endearing messages meant for her..........
