I'm blown away by your productivity and plodding Mr. Wilson. So thankful that I gave you a second chance after being scared away by the FV critics at first.
I started watching after hearing rumors that he was pretty much both Hitler and the Devil, incarnate, LOL! Still waiting for the evidence. I'm thankful for his work. He deals with issues few pastors / Christian leaders deal with. He's helped keep me sane in this increasingly insane culture. Like with many people I listen to/read, I'm sure I don't agree 100% with everything he says. But I've learned much from him and greatly appreciate his ministry.
Notes on the two books I've read from Wilson (sort of): Evanjellyfish - solid 7/10. Not amazing, but good. Ride, Sally, Ride - I only got 20%ish in. Story is fine, idea is fine (as long as you don't go in with pearls prepared for clutching), but the prose needed paring down. Blackthorn Winter (& sequels) - I liked these a lot when I read them; was significantly younger though.
:54 OH, MY BELOVED SAM! I had to pause this, because I will just cry. It's one of my favorite passages in any book, ever. It feels like a physical ache in my heart each time I read the books. And the scene in the movie leaves me sobbing, every single time.
"Ride, Sally, Ride", is fantastic! I've read it twice already. But I need to buy a print copy in case the Kindle version goes POOF! You never know these days. I also want to try your "Beowulf". Have never read it before. Thanks!
Hm. Your revelation of the true definition of propaganda, reminds me of the true definition of indoctrination (to teach a doctrine). I think over time these words have gotten a negative connotation.
