Great review! Please keep up the secondary camera angle. Allows for a different view to see a broader scope of ball activity and also for us working on release and footwork it’s good to be able to see (as an example) how you deal with physical game in a different view.

Another solid review Luis! I Like the the lower camera angle for seeing footwork and release but the higher one for ball path. If I had to chose 1 it would be the old, higher one but adding the 2nd lower one in has added benefits for sure..

loved the review. At first I did not like the lower camera angle because the lane deck was not as visible to me, but as I watched more, I found it a better view to see the side to side path of the ball. I hope you incorporate both angles so we also keep the good look at the front to back motion.

I love the Absolute! Very, very clean and so easy to scoot through the front part of the lane! With my softer ball speed of 15-16 mph, I need that extra push through the fronts. I was so impressed with the ball that I drilled up a second one! I drilled my first Absolute pin down 85 × 4 1/2" × 75. My second Absolute is a pin up layout 90 × 4 1/2" × 45.

This new cam angle is much easier to see where you are ending up at the slide and seeing where the ball actually rolls. Makes it easier to compare where you are playing vs where I do. Also the ball motion looks more realistic vs the higher cam angle.

Hey man I love all the videos. I was just looking for a little advice. I bowl where there is heavy oil on the lanes and I use the idol helios. (thanks to your ball recommendations:) ) and I am just wondering as a two handed bowler how should I play the lane. I use a 14 pound ball drilled pretty standard and don’t think playing far right is worth it anymore because i feel as though it’s making me hook the ball less at other places. Should I try to work on more axis rotations or do you think i could get away with maybe throwing it a little slower. (Im at 15 mph rn) Thanks!

I absolutely love tall 5in pins for my pearls.. no pun intended and yes i know this is hybrid but think for me a 5in pin would be perfect. Just don't know if I would buy 1 because I think it may just overlap my infinite (which is probably my favorite pearl of all time) and I also have a fate.

Luis, have you tried a 15 lb and 12-13 lb (saw 14 vs video) of something like Storm Absolute to show how core difference of 12-13. Lb ball effects the flare and forgiveness?

I dont see a need for hyped solid camo AND Go. I would def drop one of them and add the Revenant to that mix and then maybe a smoother bigger ball just in case like say a Phaze 2

With your layout at 60 x 4 x 30, if you were using a 14 lb ball with the change in ball specs how would you adjust layout to compensate. Thanks for your videos very informative.

from 14 to 15 there's a higher RG and lower diff in 14 so I would lay it out a little stronger like 60x3.5x30 to yield similar results

The lower angle is nice, but it does make it tough to see your down lane target / break point at the range finders. Maybe show the lower angle as a smaller insert in the bottom right corner of the frame and keep the higher angle as the main view?

This ball reminds me of my intense fire. Similar cover, similar core specs but it’s obviously a different shape, and then they’re both asymmetrical hybrids and similar colors with that orange/copper being thrown in there

slight difference cause of the core numbers but with the covers being the same the differences should be very minor!

Thats the distance from the pin on the ball to my PAP (Positive Axis Point) the closer to 3 3/8 from pin to pap the stronger the ball will be and the further away you get the longer the ball will be

Man I would live to try this but have been burned by sooo many hybrids I have buyer ptsd lol.. 2 parts solid 1 part pearl tends to be really flat and 2 parts pearl 1 part solid tends to be very over under or condition specific.. tried several different layouts to make them work. This looks phenomenal wish I could try it 1st lol

Don’t let the title Hybrid scare you it literally doesn’t mean anything lol this balls more like a traditional pearl. Bowling balls are tools use surface to fine tune the relation

@Luis Napoles give a small example.. hyper cell fused over under messed with the surface made it slightly better but always seemed like pearl or solid was better. There was a very short window being usable. Tried the zenith hybrid with a longer pin to keep it from burning up (from previous hybrid issues) still hit like a pillow. That's just naming a fraction of the ones I've tried not going to bore you but name a couple on each side of the spectrum and different layouts

For your style of review, the higher angle is better. If you're going to use the lower angle, zoom in like JR Raymond does. It helps to better see ball motion as well as the arrows and breakpoint. But be very cognizant of glare on the lane from the image on the screen downlane. If you cant see the arrows on the lane, the angle is useless.

Original camera angle is better. You can see the ball motion relative to where on the lane, lengthwise.

Your leaving the ten pins because it us coming in late to the pocket. The 5 inch pin one you have to lower the speed

Seemed to me that with the 4.5" you convinced yourself that was the better ball... Looked like you were(for the most part) like 17-20 , and with the 5" you didn't hit the same spot as often( I think I saw like 14-20)...
