Video highlights from our thunderstorm chase in Devon on Tuesday 21st May 2024.
Jumping from thunderstorm to thunderstorm totaling 5 different cells with 3 Hail core punches.
Conditions in one particular core intercept got intense with road users being forced to pull on the side of the A38 dual carriageway due to how dangerous it was getting with large amount of hail coming down.
We had a tactical plan for this particular event of storms and we executed it with perfection. A mega job and a team effort!
The Metoffice did issue a thunderstorm warning for Devon on this day with the chances of frequent lightning, hail and flooding.
