It seemed like it was nighttime when taking off, but it turned out it was only dusk. Underneath the thick thunderstorm clouds on the ground, it will always look closer to night
Dig wing view vids showing the control surfaces and wing flex. I didn't know Boeing put what looks like small lights on the top of the wing towards the leading edge. Five or six of them. Anyone know why the aeronautical engineers put those there? Obviously it will increase visibility. They look like small lights.

@@robr2389 military planes used to have lights on top of their wings so pilots could see other planes in their formation below them when flying together. Maybe it's a secret CIA 787 lol
They aren't lights on the wing. They are called wing inspection lights and they are turned on during take off ans landing. They are attached to the fuselage so that pilots can see the wings.
