Nail up windows and doors. If you have a multi story home prepare to go to the top floors. But you also have to worry about tornadoes from this so being on the bottom floor if you can during a tornado warning only if the bottom floors aren’t flooded. Stay safe!!!!

I'm right in the middle of the path about 1hr and half from the coast and in between L.A and Palm Springs. I'm not quite sure how to prepare since we've never had to and I've got a sick mother fighting cancer at home. any suggestions?

@@jcrwzr although many say it will hit California directly as a tropical storm like in 1939. It could weaken slower than projected and be a category 1 hurricane before it makes landfall in California or right when it makes landfall.
