Finally, a solo book I’ve been eagerly anticipating-and it absolutely delivers. With a writer who clearly has a strong vision for the character, we get to see not only where she fits in the larger world but how her journey will unfold. It’s exciting to follow her story in a way that doesn’t feel constrained by the typical team dynamics.
One of my favorite touches was Storm bringing Frenzy along with her. It’s such a small but powerful moment that hints at deeper friendships and alliances. I’d love to see more of these relationships fleshed out, showing the personal bonds that aren’t always highlighted in the main X-books.
Moving Storm to Atlanta was a brilliant decision. It’s a refreshing change of scenery that opens up so many new possibilities. The city feels like it’s going to be more than just a backdrop-there’s a sense that what happens there could have real stakes. I’m really curious to see how the story evolves in this new setting. What also stands out is how the book tackles a long-standing question I’ve had: just how much does the general public know about the intergalactic and superheroic happenings? This issue finally gives us a glimpse into how much the everyday person understands about the tech and cosmic events that are shaping their world-and it’s fascinating to see how that might influence the broader narrative.
