I don't like the AA rule. Weather you have 1 or 10 planes dosent matter, still a static number will be hit. Much better checking every plane one by one.
I only roll for the planes that could fail the landing test. The veteran pilots receive a minus 1 modifier, and it takes a roll of 10 to cause an issue. So unless they either have damage or stress that could take away the minus 1 modifier, there isn't any reason to roll.
The -1 Zone affects the range on your Stuka. The -1 zone shortens my range by 1 zone. So if my mission was to zone six, I would come up 1 zone short on my return trip and would have to bail out. So on a short mission, no effect but on a long mission it could cause you an issue.
just rolled a 4 on the Engine damage result - 2 zones. - subtract Zone range , if unable to reach Airfield, roll Bailout. Target in Zone 4. How does this work?
