Besides her incredible powers what makes her standout is her personality. She's a natural born leader who is strong willed, compassionate and has tremendous integrity to the point where she will stand alone if it's the right thing to do. She's definitely my favorite
Finally a complete origin of Storm including the full spectrum of deaths, rebirths, de-aging, relationships, leaderships and world saving cycles. The only aspect lacking in this video is giving true depth to her psychological development from her goddess persona to her acceptance of becoming one of the strongest directors in the mutant community. Overall, thank you and Bravo!
Now the meaning of true Afro Goddess and the one X-person worthy to be called a SKY GOD and also one of the finest example whenever you talk about X-Men Legacy character specially when she wears that epic 70s Bikini of hers god always miss that much love Ororo Munroe 🌩🌪
It's about time Ororo Monroe got some RESPECT put on her name & her character was given her flowers, and I can't think of a better team than Marvelous to do it. This upload is LONG overdue!! But I'm glad Marvelous made this one of their longer projects, so Storm can get the recognition she deserves. One of the first Black superheroines to be written in 1975, she has inspired little girls of color to be more than what life tells them they should be for almost 50 years. A Queen. A Goddess. An Icon.
She is my favorite comic book character along side Rouge!! I am so glad you did a break down of her greatness. Maybe one day they will do her right by making a film based on her greatness!!
Namor should thank MCU that Storm wasn't the Queen of Wakanda, here's why: Compare Storm to Thor and Zeus and see her popularity ? They're just Thunder Gods meanwhile, she is the Goddess of all Weather (including Thunderbolts). She can manipulate matter which Thor and Zeus, can't ! She is the Queen of Wakanda, and a daughter of a priestess of Elder Goddess Oshtur, the mother of the same Eye of Agamotto, that Dr. Strange wears. Not just that she can conjure magic, she is a descendant of an Ancient One, Ayesha ! Remember the time when the Tarot chose Storm as a "High Priestess" over Agatha Harkness and Scarlett Witch. She is so powerful that she was an Avatar of Eternity and only person that is able to that is Dr. Strange, nobody else !!!! Even Black Panther considered her a greater God than Adversary, a demonic God. Remember, how she was one of the only 4-5 mutants left alive on the Mutant Island on Mars known as Arrako where only Omega level mutants can inhabit, unlike Krakoa ? When Uranos, who was one of the mightiest Eternal, the great-uncle of Thanos, wiped all that population of million or more Omega level mutants in one hour ? She kept Magneto alive even when his heart was ripped off by Uranos, Storm kept him alive on the Thunder and Lightning 🌩️ Also, she once summoned the entire galactic core consisting of millions of suns and planets to purge the brood infection within her. She has Energy Vision and can see the entire world in the form of energy or without it. Storm once used some wizards and witches' energy to create a portal based on lightning and teleported herself and others from realm to realm. She is an accomplished pilot (though she can fly), remember that she can fly the Blackbird? Storm was the third mutant that Professor Xavier met before founding the X-Men (the first being Magneto, followed by Sage). Storm is currently one of the only people on Earth-616 who has been a member of the X-Men, Avengers, and Fantastic Four (Spiderman and Wolverine being the other). She is very under-rated.
Love Storm, she’s one of the coolest and most versatile X-men. However, what you said about Zeus and Thor being just “Thunder Gods” is a very gross oversimplification of what they can do.
@@Rustyvoil27 logan, scott, emma, and jean are currently in a non-homosexual yet polyamorous relationship.😅 so, um...yeah, i doubt logan is going to date storm. storm, however, recently went on a date with Dr. Craig Marshall, a NASA scientist, but the current arakkii civil war between her and Genesis, the wife of Apocalypse, started soon after, so i'm not sure if craig and storm are still together.
My most favorite superhero ever. I wonder why woke Marvel never made a movie about her? But they're busy destroying other characters and flopping in the box office in the name of diversity. Storm is the real deal.
I was right!! the reason she lost her power temporarily is because she could be a threat for some villains which cannot endure her goddes, omega mutant ability. That is A STORY!!! 👏😊
Halle Barry's Storm was poorly written she was hardly given anything to do Storm like some of the other characters has a very rich history they had an encyclopedia of stories about her.
Actually in terms of power, she is number 3. Jean Grey is # 1 due to her telepathic and telekinetic powers. Iceman is # 2 being a borderline Omega level cryokinetic.
They need to use jade cargill the aew tbs champion as storm when they come to mcu she looks like storm the height 5"10" like storm muscler like storm & has the attitude to be storm
Seriously, when i was a little girl i thought i WAS her. I was in love with Wolverine and Thor and Hercules and Professor X--and was dying to be the Weather Witch! She made me realize us girls of any colour could be tough broads! And i love her relationship with Kitty Pride and Jean Grey; pals for life, son! *lol* I own everything you could ever find about the Wind Rider-long live the Goddess Storm 🎉!
I do hope we'll stop arguing about who played storm in Xmen Fox Movies cause THE XMEN WE'VE KNOWN FOR YEARS BASED ON FOX WAS JUST PART OF ANOTHER UNIVERSE. So Basically, if storm appears to be some kinda weakling and was thought to have been given injustice when it comes to her Full potential, LET'S JUST STOP! THERE ARE MULTIVERSE in Marvel. Let's just accept that she was portrayed that way. I BELIEVE SHE WILL BE GIVEN JUSTICE IN THE UPCOMING DISNEY/ MARVEL AND XMEN MOVIES. SHE'LL COME FROM A DIFFERENT UNIVERSE THIS TIME WHICH I THINK, THE STORM THAT WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD "THE PERFECT STORM" ORAYYT?💪❤️ 😊 MAY YOU ALL BE ENLIGHTENED❤️
Why do you say in 34:43 that she was unconscious? She was nowhere near unconscious, she was mediating! Plus you never acknowledged that she was using her power to manipulate the weather over that whole planet! I kept feeling like some things you were talking " round about"!
You forgot to mention that she is the only black character in the MCU with omega levels. Storm in my eyes was the first comic book character created by a white man to generously give them powers.
Nothing that I didn't know. Be original. Bring new things. I like your channel, but I'll never subscribe for a YT channel that brings me what I can learn on comic books. 👍
@sovarosepisthmwn2449 at the VERY BEGINNING of this video, dude showed pics of the X-Men Giant Comic's original backstory...showing BOTH parents as black. Her mother being a KENYAN princess; her father being a black man from Harlem (tho there are variations in several of the old and redo-comics in later years...some saying her mother was simply from Africa; others that her father was a British born black man and archaeologist). Either way, if you paid attention to this video? ALL of the questions you asked were answered! Long-story short? She was only worshipped as Goddess in her mother's home-village and the surrounding villages (during the 1960s-1980s); hence why there likely were no temples-as temple building had ceased to occur (historically) in most civilizations during that time period and LONG prior to it! She is also not really a goddess; her mother's village was not immersed in the current world. It existed in an obscure part of Africa not yet bothered by outside civilization (i.e., similar to MANY of the Amazon Indian tribes that still eschew current civilization's way of life, and have went deeper into the Amazon forests to be left alone. It's something i really don't blame them for; considering how current society is failing as a whole, as far as morals/ethics/and values are concerned. Those tribes are MUCH better off as they are!) Lastly? NOPE. They absolutely haven't done much to appreciate her character or revere it (as many others have been revered) in the past-but this has changed in the last 20yrs or so. I've been reading comic books; primarily anything involving the X-Men (primarily-Storm, THOR, HULK, & Wolverine)--(also all things Dark Horse label; a'la Vampirella/Lady Death/& Purgatory) since the early 1990s. I've read and bought the hardcopy comics as well as (now, primarily) the ebook forms of all the comic lines that my aforementioned favourite characters are involved in. Storm has had at least 3 separate comic lines; one about her background plus other assorted storylines published via Marvel. One was back in the mid90s; one in the mid2000s, and one as recently as 2019/2020 (immediately prior to the Old Man Logan series; right after she and Black Panther divorced). Another comic-set on Storm just came out in 2023; a 3-comic set written within the current Krakoa storyline. She's finally getting her dues, and thank the GODS for that! ✔💯 😎
If she is that powerful why doesnt she have her own temples? If she is a Goddess? Why serve the Xmen ?They never seemed to appreciate her.Is she black or white by the way?
