Yes, Luis, the two-center, two-conditions evaluation is value added to the review. It helps to document whether a ball has more versatility on different conditions.

Terrible name, makes it very cumbersome to try to refer to it. But hopefully rolls a lot better than it's named. That cover has me interested though, the Night Road was great for me

I think they should have called that ball the Low-Road.... Ya know... you have the Hy-Road and now the Low-Road... I think they missed the boat on naming that ball. Would have been a great take on a Play of Words!

Funny thing is the Hy- was supposed to be short for Hybrid. Making the Hy-Road Solid and Pearl the Hybrid Road Solid and Hybrid Road Pearl lol

Interesting comment from Stu on the Journey. I drilled one and got rid of it, because even when shiny it felt like it kept trying to grab in the front part of the lane and puked down lane. The only time it looked good for me was when I put out a couple patterns that had juiced fronts. Sam's Town shots made The Road look really good

you also have to remember you are bowling on 2 different surfaces, HPL are softer and hook more then Brunswick Anvilane.

to me the Hy Road isn't going anywhere out of my bag period but still any ball could a good one if you throw well it though also depends what your bowling on like what oil pattern for house anything other just depends on what it is

Luis, there’s probably a dozen ‘Transitional’ pearl balls spread out between the 3 SPI lines. I’m looking for both a strong & weak ball for this slot. Any possibility you can rate these as far as strength.

Would love to get this ball but as a low rev low speed guy, I just know it's going to be to strong and hook way more than I want it to, my question is if I do decide to get this ball could I put a layout on it that will help me play more up the boards? Like what would a layout 90 x 5 x 45 do for me or how about a pin down could that work?

@@larrymiller7311 Seeing Luis throw it straight up 10 may still not make any difference to you because he may be on completely different conditions, or you two may have completely different releases. If you watch a few reviews and get a general sense of the comparison of one ball to another that you may have, you can make a better decision on if that difference in the new ball fits a strength or shape you want to add to your arsenal.

The original Hy-Road was one of the worst balls I have ever owned. After struggling with it for months it went straight into the dumpster. I have rarely hated a ball more.

You're the man, Luis. You are cranking up the quantity and quality on all these vids for sure. I ordered an OG Hy-Road about three days before they dropped the teaser vid for this one lol. I like my Hy-Road a lot so far, but of course now I'm wondering if a Hy-Road and The Road in the same bag would be complementary or superfluous. I'm sure a comparison with the OG (where you'll probably address that question) is coming, so I'll stay tuned. 'Preciate ya, Sir.

One of the 16 bowling balls that I own is a Hy-Road and I swore was not going to buy any more bowling balls for a long while... I must resist, but The Road looks amazing. It's going to be tough not to get the urge to buy it right now, LOL! Yes, I like the dual bowling centers with different lane conditions. Thanks for the video and keep up the great work!

I have been struggling to find a ball for the burn. Currently I am speed dominant straight down boards 7-10. Once game 3 starts I struggle to find something to make it down the lane far enough before it breaks. Would this be something to look at? I currently use the hyroad pearl and it is just a bit too strong.

I throw two handed, my arsenal consists of wolverine dark moss, dark code, harsh reality. I can’t stand the dark code, and am looking for a ball to throw after the harsh reality. Any recommendations, I love the Summit peak but don’t know if it is what I need.

The Night Road had ReX pearl and the original Fe2 weight block. I think this is a great replacement for it though

@@bowlerrollercoaster my assumption is that when they made they nightroad, they wanted length with angle, so it made sense to have a strong pearl cover, however it was just too clean in the mid, the road having Hybrid instead of pearl allows it to see the mids better. The numbers aren’t THAT different

@@huntermoore8994 I definitely feel like "The Road" is more bowler friendly. The majority of people that like the Night Road (I'm one of them) are 2 handers. A lot of people struggled to get that ball to hook with the out of box surface. I feel like the hybrid cover of the road gives it just a little more drive in the Midlane. I love ReX no matter what

this is gonna sound nuts but it reminds me of a combination of the best attributes from the HyRoad, HyRoad Pear, HyRoad Max/Nano and the NightRoad but with way more pop. I think I am gonna need to buy a few of these.

This ball is looking good at both centers. I just got my first Hy-Road in January and I love it. If anything I would say a tad too clean, but this ball may just fix that.

I loved when Luke rosdahl would film at 2 different centers because they were different lane material. Same with Sam’s town and south point, different lane surface makes a completely different reaction. Makes the video easier to relate to when you bowl on both imo.

Your last few shots at south point was my experience with the hyroad. Never got the pin action I wanted no matter what I did and I would constantly leave single pins.

This will fit perfect in my bag. Currently i have a Motiv Supra Rally, Hustle M&M, Black Venom, and Match Up Black. The ROAD will be a good addition to add for house shots and even tournaments. I believe this ball is Symmetrical Hybrid, correct? Thanks for the video review

There are so many high hook bowlers out there, but I like to play a lot more in front of myself, and more right, then gradually move left. This ball is looking great! That was the entire purpose of AI, I can say I see the difference, however, I don't agree that it carry more as I leave a lot more flat 7s, (two handed righty) but my scores will say otherwise. Either way I am a fan of AI tech creating good ball motion
