Storm is by far the best company in bowling hands down. I will not throw anything but storm and roto grip from hear on out. Thank you for all you do for average league bowlers like myself.
Ryan Martin and they go out of business, I retire. I refuse to use Brunswick, not because of their equipment. Instead because of some of the people they employ.
Physix and Mix are my main two. Also have a Roto grip Winner. Love the mix as my spare ball. Let's me straighten out but also get some hook when needed, even drilled as a spare. The Physix has boosted my average overall. More games over 200 than with any other ball. Added the C4 Curve as well. The brace has really improved consistency. Also makes it easier to adjust as lane condition changes.
Ill be honest living in the south east i see alot of people bowl storm / roto, I myself recently switched from EBI. The problem is I can go to an EBI demo day down here and throw some stuff to see what I like but thats not the case with storm. Now that brunswick ruined EBI its time to take the market over boys lets get some stuff going in the southeast.
Hugh Janis give us a call at the number mentioned at the end of this video and we can set you up with the regional sales manager in your area that can let you know when they are doing a demo day in your area! Thanks for the comment
The white one was sold once but was discontinued. You can find those used on ebay but probably for a pretty penny. Jason's one that is black is another story and is pretty hard to find.
I have a question . I have a new 15 lbs storm tropical surge. Im standing with my left foot behind the far left dot. Im right handed and I target between the secend and third arrows from my right. I had to move to two steps from the fowl line to slow the ball down and swing slower becouse I'm over powering the ball. ( I want more power ) so should I try to put more rotation on the ball so I can go back to being four steps away from the line. or put more traction on the ball by sanding it with a lower grit truecut . so I can put more of my stranth into it
i know im late to this. just weird to see so many cool looking bowling balls discontinued like the Trend2 Fever pitch Soniq and the super Soniq i really wanted to buy one of these
Question about the ice line: Does layout make any difference on a ball with a 3 piece core, like the Mix? I've found that even polished plastic hooks or rolls early for me (yes, I need more speed...working on it). If I drill a mix for length, would it make a difference?
Storm should make a ball that is very versatile and plays a bunch of angles for someone that throws it from 13-15 MPH with a bunch of revs (2 handed) that they can throw straight up the lane yet also move and get more hand in the ball and have a consistent roll that’s controllable, and doesn’t have too much hook but enough to send pins flying- similar to Jason Belmonte style just less speed around 13-15mph
@@patrickmoore1134 I have the fever pitch and the ball doesnt move for me, I've started throwing it faster and the pitch black has been my favorite urethane, and original Hy-Road as my reactive!
are the hy roadX and Phase 3 similar enough to make me not buy the p3? cause i really want a phase 3, i just dont know if its simlar enough to the radical conspiracy theory and hyroadX
I miss intense and intense fire:(. I went up in weight. And got an intense cause I had an intense already from my previous weight but they discontinued the intense fire and it make me sad:(
the phaze 3 has the same covestock, the core is a hair weaker being symmetrical, but you might find it similar enough as coverstock makes up the majority of the reaction
I haven't found me a benchmark yet phaze 2 uses all of its energy before it hits the pins my hyroad doesn't really strive till game 3 when there really dry would the all road be a good benchmark ball or do I need something stronger like gravity evolve my first ball out is crux prime everytime
An IQ tour could be a good option for you, the cover is pretty clean but the core is early so you'll get a bit of control while still getting your ball Down the lane
@@hersheljones9467 I just had one drilled on Tuesday. Great ball. Seems like it's allergic to the gutter lol. I dangled it out there so far, my husband was like, "You've gotta be kidding me!" 🤣 I'm definitely rev dominant though.
the only thing I hate about storm Is that they scent there bowling balls. so what if we want a ball and don't like the scent. what will I do? look elsewhere. some of us have a hyper sense of smell. good job storm!
Strange...the premiere line has the most r&d newest cores and covers, yet the gravity evolve had a 10+ year old core and uses a previous coverstock. How is this the newest of both?? Seriously though...it’s a great core but doesn’t explain why it’s one of the most expensive balls !!
I hate the fact that they release a new ball from a old series that got stopped years ago. For example the gravity evolved, the last gravity series ball (stateside) was made back in 2011. Why after 7 years did they release the gravity evolved?
It’s funny.......I would rather have very low performance balls so there is no overreaction........give me two mix’s one polished and surface on the other.
Best advice I've ever gotten from a pro shop- " most people buy a ball that hooks to much" on a THS I use entry level to mid level reactive balls. Bowl just fine with them.
