@@khankake9576 whether they are eliminated early is irrelevant, they will finish top 4. Back line is lethal, forward pack work rate on defense and offense is top tier. Melbourne are clinical all around the park. Only team I see upsetting them this year is the panthers or roosters.

both sides showed theyre elite and both showed theyre worthy of top 4 after that display,it will come down to injury coverage,player management and attitude in the next 23 games,so based on that game both sides playing at optimum provides for some delicious football ahead and i expect these 2 sides to be realistically contending for the premiership come early september

Apart from that slip up on the play the ball, he played a good game, be proud, I love him being in the team, he brings so much energy to the team.

Melbourne perform well in the first half in most of their matches and lead well from the front. They struggle against teams who rise in the 2nd which Rabbits are known for.....Good thing that Melbourne know how to scratch and claw to hold onto the lead for a victory, as we saw in the Grand Final. Melbourne also struggle when trailing, so if a team can outgun them in the first half and take the lead going into half time, then chances are they are going to walk/limp/crawl away with the win.

Sorry pal but you're just wrong, for one thing it's not even gone forward from the point of release, the winger takes it with hands backward to his body so the ball travels flat across the pitch. HOWEVER it's even less of a forward pass due to the player not propelling the ball forward out of his hands, and lastly, momentum, if when passing the ball whilst running forward, you can pass it backwards and the ball still travel further upfield because you running forward imparts forward momentum on the ball. Maybe, just maybe look up the laws of the game and understand what is actually happening as well as looking at the hands of the player before making yourself look like an idiot!

@@Jacko89 You can't enforce something that isn't a rule you plum, go check the laws of the game, go stop the video when the player actually releases the ball and where it is caught in relation to that. Go get an adult to explain why objects that have a force exerted on them in a forward direction by being carried means they can travel 'forward' physical to the ground when shifted perpendicular to that initial direction but have not actually been thrown or passed forward.
