Constantly happy and excited to see all the stuff you guys bring to the table for AoS! Will always love your AoS batreps, and it's why I'm a vault member!
You all should try playing a fog of war battle. Basically just deploy like normal, but put a box, cloth or something over your army, so noone knows how their opponent deployed. We used to do this all the time.
Very tactical game here. Speaking for myself, the only time I get a little tired of seeing the same armies is if it is the same one 4 or 5 times in a row. I like variety, but I also understand that you have to learn your armies. :)
Small detail but I love the change in order for the intro - very nice to have all the 'ads' (sponsor & vault) at the start before jumping into the armies, makes the game a bit more seamless
I get that its a lot more difficult keep track while filming but you guys have got to start marking wounds when they happen. So many videos where theres been forgotten wounds that actually make a difference.
Just for reference, the Stormdrake's ability to drag a model into the sky is based on the Unit wound characteristic, not the model. So the +1 that the champ has wouldn't matter, the unit is 5 wounds. Didn't matter in this game anyway. The stardrake picks a specific model and it's wounds, the stormdrake it's just unit.
Hey guys long time watcher , first time posting ! I love the age of Sigmar content you guys create! Can you please do some more with the new ghb I know you’ll have lists sorted but it doesn’t hurt to ask Stormcast vs Sylvaneth! I play my mate with this and we have epic battles I’d love to see you guys fight these two armies!! 🙏
Worth noting you don't *need* a daemon general in befouling host, just that if you do you get another tree - kind of useful if you want to use the LOA stinky command trait and still have beasts as battleline
So, first of all: I'm team variety, I don't care if you do peak performances with a list you played a 100 times, I'd rather see new combinations. And in this particular case I'd really loved to see the game played out to the end, even if it was clear who wins by points before that. Overall a very interesting game, thanks guys!
Interesting rule Luca - Rotigus has the Warmaster rule so he is a Daemon general. If you take him in Befouling host you can also have a Mortal General.

I may be wrong here but... Turn two, Maggotkin. Battle Tactic: Monstrous Takeover. Hero Phase: GUO casts realm spell Metamorphosis on Lord of Afflictions making him a Monster for the turn. Movement Phase: LoA uses At The Double giving him 14" of movement, he moves to the objective. Battle Tactic acheived. Here's where I'm unsure... was the Loa within both 12" of the GUO and 14" of the objective's area of effect? it certainly seems like it but not being there to measure I don't know.
@@Thorize91 Yes, you have to "pick a monster" at Start of Hero Phase, then you can cast the spell to make someone a monster, but he wasn't a monster when you "pick".
Edit, with shooting (or firebreath)? And another question, the Lord of afflictions, the more wounds the better his save gets? Were can I find that combo?
Our local Bonesplitterz describes playing them as playing terrain that moves. He recommends pig missiles as the most consistent, weirdnob shamans are the most fun, and that Icebone is the best subfaction.
I play Boneplitrerz all the time, this is good advice. ArrowBoys are bad imo, boarboys are the best overall. Icebone or Drakkfoot are the way to go. Big stabbas are also good if you bring a lot but they are better in Big Waagh (I have 16). They are a board control army, bring tons of boars and pigs and try to make sure you die slow enough to win.
Another Bonesplitter ploy (which you probably already know) is having a gang of Big Bosses. They only cost 65 points per model and can use their 'Let me at 'em' ability to chain attack with the whole gang. This may become known as 'The Scrappy-Doo gambit'. Their attacks are not great, but if you have 4 of them going around in a group for 260 points that's 24 attacks at 3+/3+ -1 2 damage. They're pretty fragile, so you'd probably need to hide them behind some ladz and use them as a counter attack unit.
I would make a Bonsplitterz if the models were cheap, but I just don't want to spend the money on them. The wurgogg's Stare is great, and remember you can take an amulet that makes his ward on 4+ instead of 6+ for warding your stare damage.
Also, there's that one guy in your area bringing bonesplitterz to tournaments. The savage big boss (IIRC) lets another unit fight after him, so you can string 3-4 bosses together all attacking one after the other or whatever. Plus, Wurgogg fun.
The boars are really good for bonesplitterz, going icebone you can do mortals on 6s to wound. The wurggag shaman has his awesome stare mortal wound mask. The infantry are ok meat, just pure wounds and getting in the way. And honestly, while you are learning the army I'd say take kragnos. He helps a lot, and let's you do monster stuff too.
"if I planned this better..." but like, why not just move the models to where you'd rather them be? No one would be any wiser for it and it would seem like y'all are having more fun than conceding that you messed up early on...
less dragon/big elite spam please, battle reports are way more fun when you bring more disposable/fodder troops. Armies of 4 dragons and an one elite unit is just snooooze for me. Doesn't feel like Warhammer imo. Who cares if those armies aren't great, I'm not watching these battle reports for "competitive" lists.
I used to play Warhammer Fantasy in the 90's and watched this out of curiosity. Beautifully painted models, but completely wasted in a terrible game system. Not for me.
