Women’s racing is far more entertaining than men’s.

Not true when the Fantastic 3 (Pogi, MVP, JV) aren't there.

True words. This year I neglected men's cycling. It's plain boring. We know the winners before the races. At least I see some beautiful and talented women if the race is not that entertaining.😊❤

On 30 april 2006 she won her first race !!!❤❤❤❤

Maybe different riders have different programs? Kopecky already has more racing kilometers than either Pogacar or van der Poel, to give just one example.

Why so many crashes?😢

Large peloton, riders trying to keep position or make up positions. Sprint stages see riders take risks or imagine gaps that don’t exist.

the reason it happens with just under 3 kilometers to go is because the GC contenders want to be in front of the peloton to get safely to the last 3k where no time can be lost anymore but when they reach that 3 kilometer sign, the GC women don't have to be in the front of the group anymore and let themself sink back in the group to give the sprinters their room, but this is causing major chaos and makes the possibility of touching someone much bigger, and that's why they are crashing in my opinion the UCI should really do something about this, because with cycling becoming faster and faster this is causing enormous damage to riders when they crash my best option would be: on the easy ranked stages with a complete flat finish where a bunch sprint is very likely to happen, take the times from the 5 kilometer mark so the GC have more time to get out of the way and don't have to be in the peloton anymore which makes life easier for the lead out trains and also makes it more safe because a smaller group reaches the finish line together for the victory sprint the only exception for my idea are of course echelons, then the time of course should be taken at the finishline, but this can be decided very much on time

The lack of experience of many of these riders makes them all nervous, I guess. Let’s hope they’ll all get their focus right soon.

learnt from the men peloten 😁

I think this is only one reason. The speed and exhaustion are also rather high towards the end making it more difficult to avoid crashes and as it is underspent compared to the prominent mens' races and therefore maybe little worse preparation on track is done by organizers and the riders. That can make the difference between almost and severe crash. However, crashing even in big numbers was always part of race cycling. So, to some extend it is normal. What is nice that at least some teams manage good sprint preparation work and tactics which is a good sign for the high level of the event and athletes.
