Written by Jessi Colter, she threw it away, however her Husband Waylon Jennings rescued it from being lost forever. Aside from Jessi, this song Storms Never Last would be covered by many great voices. Each Group or Artist puts their own unique sound to it. Thank you Jessi for writing it, and my former Boss Waylon for saving it.

Can't get enough of this awesome group. WOW! I'm 71 years old and still swaying to them.

I've loved Dr. Hook since I was 13 years old, now 60. I fought for his record but my cousin won. I bought one of his CD's lately and I listen to it over and over. I never get tired of it. My 2 youngest grands love it too.

I loved Dr Hook, and I'm ashamed to say that I never heard this one before! This band has to be THE most underrated band of all time. I think it's criminal that they're not in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame! I loved this song btw. 😉🎵🎼❤

In the early 90s I stepped into this cassette tape store and couldn't find anything interesting My eyes then caught this Dr Hook tape Had never heard of them but I bought it nonetheless 30 years later I am still glad I bought that tape In my part of the world I don't think you can find 1000 men or women - still alive today - that have ever heard of Dr Hook So yeah I am a rare breed

I recently went to see Dr Hook, I was a bit apprehensive as you go and see great groups from your past and they are very rarely as good as you remember them.... I was Totally taken back to my youth, the New Dr Hook were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, the songs were sung exactly the same, no deviation from when I first heard them. I can Honestly say it was the Best concert I have ever been to and would Gladly pay to see them again and again. If anyone is unsure about going to see them because the line up is different, GO you won't be disappointed x

I grew up in the '70s. In my mind the best music ever written. Dr. Hook had so many hits. I was fortunate enough to see them in 2015. The whole show was over before you knew it. Whenever I'm feeling down, I listen to music from this era and remember the things I was doing and the people I was with. Makes me sad that some will never have memories like those.

I've listened to Dr. Hook many times over my 71 years. While in the U.S. Navy, aboard the aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Hancock, C.V.A. 19, I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled while at sea. You'll never guess the dentist name, yep, Dr. Hook. Not the recording star singing the song however to make the time pass I did in fact listen to Storms Never Pass while having my tooth extracted. By the way, Dr. Hook was a Lt. and was from Carbondale, Illinois. This was in 1973-74. Thanks for the great music from a baby boomer.
