much more satisfying to buy cds. you help the band because your giving them money and in return they give you the best quality version of their album. and also having the cd just is more satisfying
me vuela la cabeza esta banda ... y algunos fanatizados con metallica... chupala metallica!! jamas podrias tocar estos temas! a esta banda le sobra habilidad y tecnica! saludos desde argentina!
This is to evryone on here that's bashing someone else's country or culture: Go to a goddamn Black Label show with that attitude and you'd get your ass kicked up through your eyeballs! I'm from America and I LOVE this music we call metal! Metallica, Megadeth, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Tyr, Eluveitie, Alestorm, Loudness, Turisas, Dragonforce, Black Label Society, Pantera it's all metal and it's all great! The US, Japan, Europe, and everywhere in between has great bands, dammit!
ive downloaded quite a few power metal bands only 1 album though after that only buy to support them blind guardian hammer fall and stratovarius i didn't down load i just got them from my friend who downloaded them way to much respect for them ! also reinxeed , super epic definitely deserve my money honestly i have over 25 power metal bands on my zune and shit ill drop a few 100 on ordering cds power metal deserves the money !
@ShadowOfUndead - in reference to rarutofreak's comment, I have studied much of Europe's history as a personal interest and, of course, due to my families involvement in WW2. A few of my uncles died and are buried in Europe fighting the Nazi's and they did so believing that they were called to duty for their country AND out of generosity to save their fellow man from enslavement. They gave their lives so that other people they didn't even know could be free. Not many people remember this sadly
damn, i called myself a power metal fan for a long time but i've only been listening to gamma ray, helloween, blind guardian, symphony x, the big guys but im just discovering all the "smaller" bands like these guys, a lot of great music
Ah I was looking for this for ages... 't was Stormwarrior. I've been stuck with "We're heading northe, heading home... lalalalala..." in my head for weeks now...
I never said, or thought, that screaming or gargling unintelligible words into a microphone qualified music as metal. And... OMFG! They are not just "banging" on their instruments, what they do most of the time takes lots of dedication and practice. Playing fast and writing rich, complex but still musical compositions takes a helluva lot of skill. I encourage you to listen (concentrate) to some of Nile's songs sometime, read the lyrics too. I find their songs (and lyrics) just as empowering as
Yeah I spoke with Herman Li, and I gotta say he did seemed like the most down to earth guy. That's one of the reasons why I respect him as a guitarists so much. And I think cheap shot jokes are possible if you spoke with the band you joke about before making the joke. But hey I liked the show, they didn't act like big assholes there. So I kinda wished you had the same experience as I did instead of your current experience! :P
Great stuff! They harness the energies of our ancestors when they perform. It makes me wonder what energies others harness in what they call music.... ;)
i havent heard their songs, so i thank you for the list, and what you see as true metal is not desame as what I see as true metal. do you see the picture?
I view Dragonforce as a negative in the metal world mostly due to their onstage attitude. I will consider their talent (if any) once they start being respectful towards the audience and their opening bands.
@ShadowOfUndead - And for the record, , I have great respect for the German's - they are an amazing people, ingenious, resilient and make the best METAL on the planet!
before there was money, people traded objects. money is just a complicated way to do the same thing. Simply stated, if you don't give someone money or objects for what you get from them, and it is not intended as a gift, it is considered this little thing called 'stealing'.
@FolkMetalPiper Well I consider myself a real fan but hell if i'm gonna pay thousands of dollars for my music collection, I do support bands by buying their merchandise though shirts stickers posters ect.
Ah hell no I deffo won't take it as fact. Fuck me Dragonforce had a great atmosphere live, they got everybody on the edge of their toes, jumping and screaming. The moment you can do that, in any way possible you have talent.
@nertos466 unfortunately we can't change the fact that money is the essence of life. nothing works without money and no band can keep up their work without enough ressources
@Hyperdeficit clearly this guy doesnt have as wide a taste for metal as we do or a different taste alltogether. so dont bother let him be. but dude rly if u came here just to say that...just...cmon not neccessary man
@cagi94 maybe i can give you two of the greatest advices since the birth of mankind: 1. money is earned by working 2. things can be obtained by buying and can be send by mail. believe it or not: once i ordered something from a foreign country... and holy shit...i got it by mail... WOW!
Walls of Jericho is one of my favourite heavy metal albums ever.... Stormwarrior remind me that album so much, and I like it Do you have any Stormwarrior's album to recommend?
