It is because Trump has tried to say he didn't want this story to surface because he was "protecting Melania and his family" and that's clearly a huge load of BS. Trump never once said in these recordings it in conversation he was concerned about his family, it was about the cover up to prevent more damaging behavior on his part before the election. It doesnt work like that some topics might be to controversial to use in court as it is seen as an immediate and unverifiable form of evidence that only negatively impacts the defense while not having any importance to the matter because the sex isnt the charge its the money so the explicit sex scene isnt necessary to the case and only reflects poorly on trump, now if the sex charge was the crime then she could come out with the details but learn yourself before you sound stupid

I disagree with you completely. The MANNER in which the testimony was delivered by Stormy was more important than the content. It made undoubtedly clear to everyone WHY Donald Trump was so worried and therefore HIGHLY motivated to silence Stormy. Imagine what would have happened at that time if she had gone on TV with her story! After the „Access- -Hollywood-Tape“ and then Stormy and her story? There are a few issues at hand. Yes she can get on the stand and say they had sex and he can say they didn’t and it’s her word against his. But once you start going into details - it becomes very hard to write off the testimony as a lie. So there are valid reasons for getting details out of a testimony. If you can’t convince the jury that they had sex, you’re not going to be able to convince them that he committed the crime of covering up the sex.

It's unfair to say Trump’s lawyers are stupid when the other side asked about private bedroom stuff. This isn’t a case about breaking those kinds of laws. Why were they so interested in those details?

Ana "reoported that the "judge objected" to evidence going to the sexual description. No, it was the attys. that objected and the judge sustained the objection. Let Cenk, becuz' he may be an "experienced" atty. just being an atty is not enuf. Most graduates of law school who have been admitted to practice, have little idea about the proper procedures in court. It would b better to just let Cenk handle matters re: court proceedings iow use an "expert" when legal matters R in question. An experienced lawyer would catch the misake make by Ana -- the judge did not object, he sustained the objection.

Here's a point that Cenk and Ana are overlooking about why the prosecution might want to put Daniels on the stand and have her deliver testimony that is as salacious as possible. The prosecution wants to get the point across that what Daniels would've said definitely would've impacted the 2016 election, and that she's the type of person who would've made sure to get a lot of attention saying it. Giving the jury as explicit examples of potentially damaging information from Daniels as possible demonstrates to them Trump's motivation to want to squelch said statements coming from Daniels in order to help his chances in the 2016 election.

But... he could get something like the thing that's on his head and use it to inflate the look of it all. Send him 50 bucks, order a pair of those gold-painted cloth sneakers, and give him this advice. I'm sure he'd jump at the chance to whip it out for the court. That sounds like just his kind of thing.
