It could have been extortion, it could have been any number of illegal things, all that matters for the charges is whether the payment was made to hide the story in order to not impact the election.
Interesting observation. I'm glad to see that he's such a good person. She deserves someone who will be good to her. Not a lot of guys could keep up with her intelligence and wit. I so apprediate this interview! This guy came across as a loving husband, a true friend to Stormy, a stand-up guy who was able to describe her and ask for support from the rest of us. As he said, they aren't rich, she has done this because it was the right thing to do, and she has stood up for herself in the process.
Not only was she able to stand up for herself but, it should be able to help her heal her soul and may be able to put this behind her. Everyone knows her story now and we were able to hear it all at the same time. Nobody can second-guess her anymore. It's done and over.... I think she handled it well, especially the second day of testimony. She seemed to have a better foothold on the second day with all those eyes on her in a setting as somber as a courtroom. I don't think I would have handled it as well.

It is very sad to be ostracized for being a porn star. The porn industry brings in billons of dollars annually. The one thing that I learned from what the media has said about her during the trial is that she really wasn’t a completely willing participant. He took advantage of his “power”. She says she wasn’t a victim but if he wouldn’t let her leave then he forced her. Just because of her career he thought it was ok to do whatever he wanted.

I have watched in court the attacks and shame on women in rape situations and one woman was an exotic dancer who was attacked and raped outside her home while taking out the garbage. I think attacking a person because of their profession can backfire. I was especially angered by the reference Daniels made about being confronted and feeling a threat with her child outside a Mommy & Me class and that motivated her to want to resolve it by settlement or by going public so that she could remove the threat. It takes courage to stand up for wrongs. She appears to have a supportive husband.
