Replaced the 2 belts in an Atari 410 program recorder and played some music cassettes through it. Unlike a stereo cassette player, this thing broadcasts differently---possibly speed of sound?--than a regular player, because it's driven by the computer's brain (vs any non-brained, cassette players). Playing in mono (still utilizing both L & R TV speakers), blues songs that I've heard many times, which were recorded in stereo, are somehow given an old timey feel--least that's what I've noticed.
