🌳 I’m here in Celebration and had tree trimmers cutting my tree limbs when the storm hit. That was frightening. Then the FEMA alarms started blasting and that was bad. ⚡️ Lightning struck and caused a field fire the other side of I-4 visible from Celebration BLVD. Fun times!

I had a golf cart for years. I soon learned to get the clear plastic windows that you can get that zip onto the sides when raining or cold. Also always keep a towel inside.
Crossing all my fingers n toes that one day my wife agrees to move to sunshine state one day. She is a life long New Yorker and worries about the fl heat lol. Awesome with picking celebration as the homestead. That is probably the cleanest city I ever visited. 🤟🤟
The thought of spending Dec thru Feb in that Florida apt instead of freezing my tush off is so appealing. Cat friendly too! Thanks for doing a great job selling it. Got lots of viewers thinking about it now.
I was thrilled to see the Irlo all cleaned up. I always liked this design with the pool in the middle. As stated by others, it was an extended stay for 150 a week back in 2012 before closing. Families lived here as if it were an apartment. It was revamped, right as covid struck. That was that. I hope them much success.

The start of the video remind me of the start of Wizard of Oz. Glad you survived the storm. That really wasn’t a bad deal for the condos and cool that you can stay monthly. Here in upstate New York prices are out of control for rents.

The theory is that light travels faster than sound. So, for each second you count between the lightening and the thunder represents a distance of one mile. 8 seconds between the lightening and the thunder tells you that the storm is 8 miles away from you Adam. That weather was approaching when we left Orlando on Sunday I think.

Probably should keep an old beach towel in old Miss Marges trunk and/or an umbrella for pop-ups like this .. Always be ready for those Florida storms you get everyday

That mini storm hit my end as well ,we needed the rain .the water in my pool was 3 inches lower than usual. My friend lives in a golf cart community it's funny to watch all the golf carts lined up at the elementary school to pick up the kids
I grew up in Florida, but moved and we now own a 2nd home in Celebration (our lifes goal) and the construction boom all over Florida (in the last year or 2) is both a blessing and a curse. I've talked to friends (lifelong Floridans) and some of them are being priced out of the homes/areas they've lived in for 2 or more decades, and I just find it incredibly sad. Great video as always Adam.

5 seconds per mile! And your wiper looks like it still isn't attached properly. (But maybe not) You might want to check that. If you replace it, look into silicone. They tend to last much much longer.
As you were looking through the VHS tapes, I must tell you about an article I recently read. It said to hang on to your DVDs, BluRay, and VHS movies. Why, because people are finding out that an older favorite movie cannot be found on streaming services. So our trust in unlimited access has been compromised! We need to retain our personal archives.
Celebration needs a BTTF style clock tower,I remember staying in a hotel called Larsons Lodge with my parents in the 80s.I remember it was behind the Watermania waterpark which I believe was around where the Golden Corral is currently at,I think I went to that waterpark once before it closed.

We looked at a bunch of places like this that were close to the Wal Mart off 192 near the Westgate Resort such a great idea we ended up with a place at Sabal Palms right by Vineland Ave across the street from the Wendys and Walgreens on 535

Counting from the flash of lightning until you hear the thunder clap lets you know if the storm is approaching or moving away. 🤓 The other day one of your RU-vid cohorts said central Florida was having drought; and I laughed! No rain for a few weeks and people are talking drought! Here in California, we have no rain for months and years, that is drought!🤨🤓🤣 Alls well that ends well! And then the bad thing is for Ca.being in such a drought way , when it does finally ran any amount , it will cause flooding . I live in Michigan where weather is the farthtest from being forecasted correctly.. I go by what Chicago had day before usually.. I live near Detroit in the suburbs so I don't understand why in such a large city like Detroit , why can't they get weather correct..even with that. . U can start out in jeans and sweatshirt in am, take off sweatshirt , switch to and shorts 30:56 midday and bikini top and shorts ,early evening then into flannel pj's for nighttime all in one day. It's insane how that happens!
That Rodeway Inn was my home everytime I visted Disney since 2013 and the last time I stayed (I think was 2022) the front clerk told me they were suppose to be changing to apartments so we will see how long that takes, if it's even happening still.
