Kittayya Hero stone a 1250 years old Bangalore's oldest historical monument was discovered in 2018 which was undergrounded till then.
This was noticed by a passer by during road widening project of BBMP. The story behind the rescue of this herostone is amazing. We happened to meet this team from Heritage revival team and hear the story.
