My husband said a simple prayer when we were new Christians. I had tests done and it was reported that I could not have children, because of scarred fallopian tubs. I got pregnant the next month! I have 5 adult children now!
I prayed for two little girls who were malnourished and had vitamin A deficiency where they had something that looked like cataracts on their eyes. Their eyes became clear. It shocked all the people around us. They knew those girls and they were half-blind before. This was on the streets of Mumbai. A lot of people I have prayed for didn't get healed, but some did. It is the healing of the spirit which is most important, but God still does heal today to suit His purpose, not ours.
@@JamesRichardWiley I would say the cataracts are a consequence of living in a fallen world where our bodies do deteriorate. Death and decay entering into creation wasn’t God’s original plan, however, through the fall of man, God is able to bring forth His ultimate redemptive plan in the restoration of all things when Jesus returns and establishes His kingdom here on the earth and those who have turned to Him in faith and repentance will receive new and glorified bodies conformed to His and so on. Experiencing healing in this present evil age is just a taste of the powers of the age to come. Pointing us forward to to Day when The Lord will give us new bodies. He is the resurrection and the life.
@@JamesRichardWiley If the healing happened, then your question (as well as the answer) of necessity, ought take on a less impertinent and cavalier flavor, shouldn't they?
So if something happens that you think is really strange or out of the ordinary you call it a miracle and your reasoning is "this is proof because I can't explain it" ? so a miracle is something you can't explain right?. Now if you are going to use this as "your " criteria of a miracle I suppose you believe in miracles based on your definition. Does that make it a miracle or does that make it a miracle based on a personal definition. I would think that if you are a biblical Christian [by that I mean an actual Christian ] this would be very thin ground to stand on. Probably 50% to 75% of those who think they are Christians are in actual fact Christians. Most people today think they are Christians because someone told them to "repeat after me". They are sinner's prayer Christians which is found no where in the bible. These people believe that a person can't be supernaturally saved by God . They believe spiritually dead reprobate godless and helplessly lost individual has to give God "permission" to save them. God can only offer His salvation but they have to allow God in. They have to "accept" this amazing grace. The bible tells us that in Adam all die. A man comes into condemnation upon his first breath as a human being because he was born of a human man who only produces a condemned sinful offspring without desire or ability to turn to the Savior. When in mercy God touches this Spiritually dead person then and only then is his spiritual eyes opened to see and understand his lostness and deadness and thus is enabled in repentance to seek respond in faith unto salvation. I don't think any Christian has a problem with God and His miracles just those who claim that some folks have the gift of divine healing . That is a deception that can be easily proven wrong. Just bring these folks around and let them prove they have the gift just like Christ and Peter and Paul etc. did right out in the open so that it would bring glory to God. Then us doubting Thomas secessionists will have out false understanding of the Holy Spirit corrected which I believe would also bring much glory to God.
While it's commendable that we see the Lord work in many seemingly small ways, God wants to work miracles, the type you read about in the bible, every day. There is a tendency to make everything into a miracle. We don't have to minimize a miracle. God will give us the real thing.
Same here (car flipped 7 or 8 times) and I almost instinctively knew it was the prayers of my parents over me that saved my life. It took well over a decade still after that to truly come to Christ but that miracle in my life never left me.
I was born with POTS and it was dormant for 22 years of my life. I got covid back in July of 2020 and it “activated” my POTS disease. Have been praying for healing since. I am content at the moment if HE only heals me on the other side of eternity.
It’s a revelation when you realize you can’t win. I believe God for healing here and will until I die. The comfort and power comes from knowing whether I’m healed on this side or the next, I will be healed.
Dr. Keener is one of those guys that I disagree with, but his actions overwhelmingly demonstrate his faith. Such a gentle and humble man who clearly has a great fear of the Lord. Immense respect and praise God for men like y'all 🙌
@@ramirami2193 I really have no desire to enumerate (or even discover) all the ares which I may disagree, but one example is soteriology: I hold a Calvinist view. But I have heard Keener say things about God's sovereignty that I don't normally hear from Arminians (and I would say the same for all of the Remnant Radio crew) that really encouraged me.
Patrick, I just wanted to say I appreciate you. Many people use Social media platforms to be harsh & dismissive. Instead you are encouraging & willing to learn from people with whom you disagree.
@@jjrob7220 Thanks for the kind words! I will say this… unless one is committed to obtaining the kind of wisdom mentioned in James 3:17 in real life interactions, I'm highly doubtful that it will ever show up on social media. God has given me some "challenging circumstances" that have forced me to either humbly place kindness and truth around my neck and on my heart, or divorce myself from relationships and find people who please me-and for that I am very grateful, because I know the one to which I am commanded :-) It's a fine line sometimes, and can be tiresome, but worth it.
I would really appreciate prayer for my Aunt- Adri. She is struggling with Cancer and has had trouble breathing for a few weeks now. Please pray for healing over my aunt. Thank you everyone.
It's not just miracles, the evidence of God's involvement in our lives is truly amazing. I'm trying to write a memoir, and as I go over the stories a theme I see recurring over and over again is the "suddenlies." Suddenlies - like if I hadn't been there on that day at that exact time that wouldn't have happened. Look back over your life and see with new eyes the stories of your life and how many times a story got started by a "suddenly."
Few who had been faced with insurmountable odds and received a biblical class miracle diminish its value to them, their families, friends, neighbors and especially, their heightened relationship with the Lord. When the Lord favors YOU with a real life changing biblical class miracle, you will hold that close to your heart for life. You will chew on it all your days and share with others what the Lord did for you.
Pray for a friend of a friend put on hospice recently. Her and her daughter both major health challenges that are expected to lead to death. Just because that's the diagnosis and the expected outcome doesn't mean God's done yet!
30:17 Powerful testimony Yula Wilson blind and raised from the dead 34:15 re yula "she heard a voice 'My child rise up and walk'"! 35:35 seen partially eye open and deaf person healed.. 37:01 Diabetes causing blindness 59:20 a profound summary well said
I am convinced God does not heal us of everything, but sometimes in pieces and parts, because he wants the relationship with us. Sometimes when we are completely healed, and out of pain, and have no scars, we forget. We forget who He is. Having been healed spontaneously, I speak from deep questioning. I questioned why one part was healed and another was not. I questioned it for a brother, as well. Why was one medical thing healed, and another was not. I believe God has answered. He created us for a relationship. It means more to him that we are in relationship with Him than anything else.
I have been involved in praying for the weather to change. I have also prayed for a sick person who was immediately healed. A good friend prayed for food to multiple and it did. Most of these stories do relate to sharing the Gospel. These accounts seem to relate to presentation of the Gospel.
I have seen the Lord change the weather probably thousands of times. Rain. Rain to stop. Snow. Snow to stop. Fog to go. Smoke to go. Clouds to go. Clouds to come back. Not in a day or two. Often, while praying or commanding. I have many witnesses. Thousands.
By the way Michael, A while back I made a comment saying the show would do better with Steven Bancarz as the cohost but I made a mistake, you balance it all out well. Shouldn’t have made that comment. Enjoying the show thus far :)
I got very I’ll over 10 years ago. I had MRSA pneumonia and a MAC infection and was in ICU over 2 weeks, then in rehab for over 2 weeks. After that I had to stay with someone since I was too weak to be alone. I was given very strong (3) antibiotics for the MAC infection. Three doctors told me I could die. Then I had sepsis pneumonia and was given a 20% chance to live. The doctor told me I had severe stage 3 COPD and that was about 10 plus years ago. COPD is the 3rd leading cause of death in the US. But I’m getting better not worse! All to the glory of God!
His latest book 'Miracles in the modern world' is simply fantastic. Worth every penny if you enjoyed this video. An inspirational New Testament scholar who is full of the Spirit! Praise God for him.
Thank you Dr. Craig Keener! Miracles are real. I have seen many miracles myself. God is alive and He continues to work so actively in our part of the world.
Thank you Dr Keener for your prayers, I truly believe the lord does heal and im hoping I'm 1 of those that receives it, thank you lord in jesus mighty name Amen 🙏
Please pray for God to heal my devastated spine from severe degenerative disk disease and herniated disks. He has healed a broken femur bone in me. I need relief in my spine to do the work God has for me to do to glorify Him. Thank you for sharing these miracles. You know what we face from this world when God heals us. But it is worth the pain from this world.
The problem is there isn’t any real proof of the amputee healings from Azusa. It’s all hearsay and second hand information that has no verifiable proof.
It is interesting that in places like Latin America most people believe in miracles. It's like saying oh yea we all know the sky is blue. In places where witchcraft is common its beautiful that the Triune Living God responds and shows people he is Lord above all Lords. It reminds me of the Moses and Pharoahs magicians when his snake ate the rest. Praise be to God!
i still wish there was more actual evidence on camera for miracles and before and after doctor reports to shut up the skeptics and encourage the saints. i'd also love to see them do some content on mentalists like Derren Brown who can mimic a lot of the supposed healings (while being a skeptic himself)
I know this is a year old and don't know if you monitor comments. But you asked us to share if we have miracle stories. I have experienced hundreds of miracles like you read about in the bible. Many have to do with nature. Many with witnesses. Sometimes thousands. Would you care to hear an example? Also, there are aspects of miracles that even Dr. Keener has not covered yet. Would you care to hear?
To you men who made this i want you to know something And "greater works than these shall ye do" that is in my bible before its wrapped up God will do greater things than what we see and have seen, the early church died because they knew the power of God and that will happen again in our time , be ready for it
Man there’s just something torturous about listening to someone who is dehydrated, talk. Reminds me of my homeopathic remedies teacher in college. GET THESE PEOPLE S GLASS OF WATER. ASMR torture 😖😖😖
Can you people ever get your volumes right, to make the volume equal for everyone, cos I gotta turn it up and then turn it down then turn it up and then turn it down depending on his talking.
It would be awesome if we would have links here of videos of actual miracles, or testimonies. I use them to grow in faith, and receive them as my own as the Lord will do it with me as well. I have this faith that if we get to watch 1000 testimonies, before even reaching 500 we will already be experiencing more than a few miracles, encounters with the Lord as we tap in to His Kingdom.
Don’t run after signs and wonders, my friend. You will be disappointed. Jesus said that a “ Wicked and perverse generation seeks after miracles.” Matthew 16:4. Either Jesus is enough for you or He isn’t.
Does the existence of miracles support continuationism? Because God answered my prayers to heal a love one from their cancer, does that mean I have the gift of healing?
Okay, this guy is excellent, just needs to work on the lip smacking / dry mouth or whatever is going on there because it’s not good for audio, especially with headphones. Someone give this guy a glass of water and point it out for his own sake for the future because what he is saying needs to be heard.
I am having an issue since the Michaels' mics are soooo much louder than the Dr.'s! I can barely hear him and the Michaels say something and my whole family, even those upstairs can hear them because I just can't adjust the audio fast enough as the individuals talk.
If people are raised from the dead today the Spirit made a mistake when he said it is destined for man to die once and after that to face judgment. And I am not a cessationist.
Neville Goddard knew all bout Imagination being God in man, back in 1941. Most Christian look outside, Classic theology has you waiting and think its the final day, The first Adam is seen as human, your second Adam isn't seen nor understood its in you not outside to wake you up like your a son of God. Inside you not out side looking when it's already in you, wake up! Paul was Saul until he woke in him! Phil 2:5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
The dead will be raised , evil spirits cast out, limbs grown back , people let out of jail cells by angels Folks read the bible we will see these things again
Why do these videos have blasephemous ads, some white senior citizen claiming to be God. I don't know why Christians would want to watch 'PureFlix' with all these blasephemous and sacriligeous ads. Wouldn't Netflix, with all the junk on it, be potentially less damaging?
I think 'Pureflix' is supposed to be a Christian service or is supposed to cater to Christians, but I find a lot of the premises for their movies disturbing-- someone pretening to be God the Father, like in the 'O God' movies, or an angel giving an unbeliever an 'A Chrismas Carol'-like experience of an alternative life he could have lived if he married a Christian girl.
I believe in miracles, I have experienced answers to prayer, but what I find interesting is I hear about all these miracles and there's absolutely NO VIDEOS on you tube of these "miracles". There are cell phones EVERYWHERE, but no one is posting videos of these "healings". I've been in hundreds of prayer meetings in my 50 years as a Christian....I've never seen one of the modern day "apostles" ever lay their hands on someone who is critically ill...wheelchairs, blind, deaf....CANCER......lots of praying....Sadly 99 and 3/4% leave.....un-healed....it's so sad. A good example is FRANCIS CHAN. He said he prayed over an entire village....and everyone he prayed for was healed of deafness!! Really?? And no videos in today's media frenzy that has videos of dogs dancing and birds talking? C'mon man!
Does God's Perfect Plan include entrapment, disconnection, favoritism, mass drownings of little children, disease, starvation, war, torture, and crucifixion? Yes Does God's Perfect Plan include random healings, resurrections and miracles that suspend the Laws of Nature? Yes. Could God end the suffering of all living things any time he felt like it? Yes. So why won't he? Because he is not loving, or moral.
It’s fallacious logic and shallow thinking belying a complete lack of understanding of Christianity and our God but hey it’s your opinion so might as well plaster it all over RU-vid
