We celerate the feast of St Catherine with great honour in my village Zurrieq, in Malta. We celerate it both in its calendar year date on the 25th of November and on the first Sunday in September. ironically the 25th of November is also my birthday. Many tourists visite our village in the south of Malta in the beginning of September to see so many religious attractions , including many other statues of other saints and decorations outside the church and on the streets, especially the big spectacular statue of Catherines martyr on the wheel , the religious procession followed by the spectacular fireworks.

St. Catherine was Emperor Constantine's niece.
