Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns Gameplay (Harvest Moon) - Female Character - Episode 1
In this episode, we fondly remember a time when our mother took us to a farm to pet the animals. Our annoying sister breaks us from this reverie to announce that our father is home and has an announcement. Due to his job, he has to move the family around a lot and that we're moving yet again. Sick of it, we tell him that we plan to move out and pursue our lifelong dream: become a farmer. He doesn't think we have what it takes, and an argument ensues. He finally relents to let us go, though it's only so that we can prove him right that we aren't good enough to be a farmer. We head into Westown to meet our uncle Frank, our father's brother and the man who will be responsible for teaching us how to be a farmer. He gives us a tour of the town with Megan, Westown's elder. We meet Wayne, one of the bachelor candidates, and a few other residents of the town.

Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns (known in Japan as Bokujō Monogatari: Mittsu no Sato no Taisetsuna Tomodachi) is a farming simulation game developed and published by Marvelous for the Nintendo 3DS. It is the follow up to the original Story of Seasons. The game is the true latest Harvest Moon game, though it cannot be called that due to Natsume owning the right to the name "Harvest Moon" in the US. In the game, you get to visit three different towns, each representing a different culture and lifestyle. Lulucoco Town is a tropical town with a beach and ruins to explore. Tsuyukusa Village is an Asian-influenced town with a beautiful river and arched bridge. West Town is the western influenced town that is focused around mining.

"I think I'm adopted" I started a new game after seeing my family had blonde hair and blue eyes instead of orange/green because it was so close to mine, and I made a test character with purple hair, red eyes, and brown skin to see if they'd palette swap. You're definitely adopted, they still had blond hair/ blue eyes.

I bought this game on ebay and the seller said: "I'm selling it because its not what I expected" I gave it a try and let me tell you that its everything that I wasn't expecting! I mean, to be able to upgrade my tools, frequent interaction with town folks, more mining spots not to mention getting richer quickly (you have to upgrade your hammer of course). in the second year I upgraded my house for the 4th time and about to make it bigger. Don't get me wrong I still love and play the first Story of Seasons but I'm really hooked on this one. I'm 44 years old and I'm not ashamed to admit, playing these type of games. Thank you for posting this video, you inspired me to buy this game and I don't regret it. 😉😍

*Animal Lover:* Relationships with livestock and pets improve quickly. *Fisher:* Start off being a little more skilled at fishing. *Sports Enthusiast:* Start off with a little more stamina. *Tycoon:* Start off with lots of money. *Charmer:* Start off with your relationship points a little higher.

"Sports Enthusiast" is objectively the best I think. I made a character with Animal Lover (because duh) then decided to look up what those traits did before actually getting to gameplay and restarted immediately. Starting with a whole extra stamina heart is huge. You get more done in a day...if you finish watering/planting/etc you can often take a few whacks with your axe on a tree or fish or mine to work toward later goals. Plus since one stamina heart is gained by getting married it was best for me since I tend to put off relationships and don't think I've gotten married in a HM/SoS game yet in the past couple decades lol.

LittleNemo I chose animal lover for the long run since the others only give things in the beginning. (but if your not gonna get married for a long time then sports was probably a really good one for you :p)

I think the devs did a good job balancing the traits. You can mitigate pretty much any of them if you're willing to sink the money/time into it. I'm shoving Soft Treats on the half dozen animals I just bought so they'll increase affection and therefore product star level quicker. I probably should've be feeding the product amount increasing treats (Chewy Treats I think) into all of them instead, like I'm doing with the animals that have max affection, from the beginning. Hot Milk is a daily dose of of extra stamina, and having several of them would have been be nice if I did it long ago. Though, honestly, now that I'm in mid winter first year, time is my mortal enemy, while stamina is "whatever" with all the tool upgrades I did and food I can make.

Sports Enthusiast is actually the worst in the long run, since you still have the max of 10 hearts, you lose out on one of the in game ones.

I like how the father is ready to just pick up his family and move to where his new work is, no questions asked. End of discussion. (And moving quite frequently based on the dialogue.) But you say you want to be a farmer and literally it's the worst idea he's ever heard. Pot...kettle...black.

I love your narration. Cause I'd totaly freak if I was told my new hometown is the hugging type... possibly even going as far as looking for a different town. Though with that Dad of theirs, it's a very small possibility. The best introduction in Westown is most definitely with Ford. The only one missing out on the hugging entirely. Can't help but love him for it. Ford has the best Breakup scene too. Looked the Breakups up on RU-vid. I am never gonna let the one with Ford play out on my game. It makes me cry. Saw the one with Wayne too. His look made it a little bit like kicking a puppy but all together there is nothing in That breakup which would make me take it back like I would most definitely try if my boyfriend said what Ford gets to say...

The child you from the memory changes to the coloring you give yourself. Animal- Your live stock and pets start with 1 heart and I believe it helps level up their hearts. Fishing- you start out with a higher fishing lvl Sports- you start out with 6 hearts instead of 5. it doesn't change your max # of hearts Tycoon- you start out with 50,000 money Charming - you start at 1/2 heart with town people and 1 heart with love interests.

I made my starting look similar my family. Where as Mom, Dad, Lynn, and Uncle Frank have Blue Eyes and Golden Yellow hair. I have Blue eyes and Lemon Yellow hair. (I will buy a different style and color later)
