Champion Stutton! This guy is unreal, at this rate he will break every record in the book Hats of to Ingram, the only man that could really take it to Ash. But you have to admit, Ash in a very competitive car is pretty much untouchable
It’s called motor racing, we like to see the best drivers win, not what if the SC came out X number of laps sooner, negative attitude, well done Ash great driving all season !!!
Front or rear wheel drive. He can pedal. Even with cars that seam to be uncompetitive. He manages to make the work and move for him. That is great team work between driver , engineer and the whole team
I watched BTCC first in this season, and i'm in love with it. Great championship, competitive rules and wonderful drivers. Nowadays I'm a big admirer of British touring cars!
These races showed why Brands Hatch GP should be the last venue of a BTCC season. Bit like Interlagos in F1 and hope Brands remains the finale for years to come.
GET IN THERE, ASH! CHAMPION OF THE BTCC! You've done it in style! Fantastic! You're a Four-Time BTCC Champion! Brilliant, brilliant drive! You've joined the greats, mate! You're up there! There's Rouse, Turkington, then you! Plus, a big huge THANK YOU to both the BTCC crew and the ITV Sport crew, for showing my Ash Sutton 116 banner for five out of the ten race meetings I do every season and then my Ash Sutton 1 banner during the Safety Car in Race 2. I've been getting a few messages from a few fans saying that whenever they see my banner, it makes Ash's race wins even more better. And I really appreciate that. So thank you to those few fans too. What a season for Ash. Equalled 6 poles in a single season, equalled 12 wins in a single season and now, triple equalled 4 championships. And becoming the first ever BTCC driver to win two, or more than two championships in both Rear Wheel Drive and Front Wheel Drive. He is, as I keep calling him, The BTCC History Maker. Plus, Ford's first ever Drivers and Manufactures Championships, since The Year 2000 in the Mondeo, which was also blue and yellow. And what a way to say goodbye to the name Motorbase Performance, who came into the BTCC in 2007 with the saloon version of SEATs and are now Alliance Racing, after winning the Teams Championship too, for the second year in a row. As for everyone else, the Manufacture Works cars have won all 30 races against the Independent cars. That's something we've not seen for a very long time. But yeah, looking forward to 2024 already and can't wait to wave my Ash Sutton 1 banner. I hope in the 2024 Media Day, we get to see Ash Sutton and Colin Turkington, face to face and holding the trophy, like they did before in that 2017 BTCC Face To Face video, but in their 2024 overalls and with their 2024 livery cars in the background. And the title should be known as Battle For A Fifth!
Congratulations to Sutton he’s now joining Andy rouse and Colin turkington now let’s see if he can beat Andy rouse and become the new 5 time world champion next year
I'm in the USA and just love the BTCC, some of the best racing on the planet. But wish there was a way that I could watch the entire race instead of just highlights. Used to be able to on MotorTrend TV over here but that failing service no longer offers BTCC races. Open to any ideas/suggestions, Thanks!
@FordForTheWin - That Focus has NEVER been truly competitive in the past. It's only ASH's amazing engineering brain/feedback & wonderful Driving Skills, that have "dragged" it to the forefront! To be clear - HE (ASH) took the Ford there, not the other way around. Facts are facts x.
they have won races and have been fairly competitive in the past and have been close to giving mat Jackson for example a chance at the title. since motorbase were sold its been game changing. listen to what ash has said about this years car.@@Peter-NatureLover-TrollHater
BMWs trying their best to show a demolition derby display honestly Morgan crashing into others Jelley crashing out Doble Turkington crashing out Pearson Hill being a car merchant as usual
@AZBCDEE - Oh dear! Silly little BOY, spewing out nonsense from his Parents' Basement! PLEASE spend more of your time educating yourself - just Basic English would be a bonus! SMH!
@@ChrisBeevor0511 Sure, but "to be fair" that only happened in *one race,* yeah?? Regardless, Turkington wasn't actually involved in the Points Race for The Championship. My nickname for him is "Pussington".
I felt sorry for Tim and everyone having to pretend all year like the hybrid did anything. As a fan of over 20 years this has to be one of the most boring. Nonetheless Ash was awesome all year getting the max out of the best car, well done!
