The way Kazuha's VA speaks is so genuinely poetic. I don't think I've ever heard someone able to put so much passion and intensity into such a short amount of dialogue, It straight up sounds like subtle slam poetry, so mesmerizing.

In all honestly, the fact that he wasn’t able to even know how his friend felt in his final moments is incredibly painful. He will spend the rest of his life asking himself if his friend was happy for seeing the special sword art, sad for realizing that he never had a chance to win and now he leaves his cat and best friend behind, or just plainly irritated that he couldn’t beat the archon. I hope that after we defeat baal (If that were to happen which I don’t doubt it would) Kazuha could ask if she remembers his friend’s facial expression so he could be “at peace”

Wow I just noticed a really neat detail about this. At 0:52 Kazuha mentions that his friend challenged the vision hunterS (plural) 1:02 it says "the defeated face divine punishment, while the victors gain a second chance", and at 1:27 you can see many swords planted into the ground. I've seen a couple jokes that Kazuha's friend is weak because he lost to Sara (who got bitchslapped by Signora), but he didn't just challenge Sara, he challenged ALL of the vision hunters and was only finally defeated by Sara (if even her? I don't remember it being explicitly said who) after seemingly taking out several other vision hunters. I'm so upset please make him playable LOL

there seems to be a sad fact that kazuha's passive skill is decreasing the energy consuming while dashing, which manifests that he regreted so hard that he didn't arrive at his friend in time and then got the skill.😭

Kazuha’s VA is probably the best voice actor in the entire English cast. The way he speaks and pronounces certain words is so poetic and mesmerizing, and it’s subtlety blows me away

I think it's a nice detail when it shows Kazuya's friend is being struck down and there are a bunch of other swords staked in the ground showing how many people before him had sacrificed their life for their ideals and aspirations.

The way kazuha speaks is so beautiful, you can really feel the emotions

"What expression was on his face" That part always gets me, the VA really did an amazing job like holy hell Sorry but I like his eng voice more than his JP, you can hear the sadness so clearly in this line

The amount of emotion the way kazuha tells this story is heart aching

It’s cool to see that they made one of the gods an actual tyrant, new dynamic compared the reasonable Rex Lapis and the carefree Barbatos

Enough memeing, in all seriousness, this was so well done. Kazuha's voice actor is amazing at portraying the character and just has an amazing voice in general ! The way he talks is just so poetic and the way he told this story was beautiful and sad. Its so artistic :")))

I find a lot of his character design very interesting, the small details like his exposed chest and slightly exposed hips, and the small scar on the bridge of his nose. I have yet to find out where he stores his vision, but from the direction it flew, I'm assuming from the upper half of his body or somewhere on his arms. The mala is another piece of interesting symbolism as well, especially the blue tassel connected to it and how he is wearing it on his right wrist. The print at the bottom of his haori, resembling either waves or a waterlily is something a little interesting too.

Kazuha's voice actor is my favourite one so far. He just sounds so natural when tryna sound like he's on the verge of tears, his combat effort is my favourite one for the English dub.

I think the voice actor really nailed it. The voice filled with so pain yet calm at the same time. When he said " In his last moments, what expression was on his face" , i actually teared up a little

dude the va did a great voicing this, the way this is voiced is so raw with emotion it honestly makes me want to cry

Hmm... muso no hitotachi.... Muso literally means "no pair" and essentially means "peerless" as it is meant to signify one who has no equal... Hitotachi apparently is a word for "people" or "humans" though I found one source that translated it as "stroke of sword" Tachi *is* a type of Japanese sword, whereas "hito" has a couple meanings depending on the kanji used for it - it can mean "man" or "person" (and depending on how its written can specifically mean "other person") or it can mean "gentle" or it can mean "samurai/warrior" - I even found one source that translated it as "condemning" or "denouncing" So perhaps "muso no hitotachi" is intended to be "peerless warrior's sword" or "unmatched condemnation" or something close to that. Or perhaps it's just a phrase that's meant to redundantly say "peerless to all others" or "cannot be matched by humanity" but that doesn't sound right for a sword style.

Kazuha's friend is the ultimate Chad, challenging the Electro Archon's subordinate (who has an Electro vision) with an Electro vision, where if he won he'd have a second chance and if he didn't he would've gotten the Divine Punishment, something that he wanted to witness anyway. My man played the long game, he won in both scenarios. The Raiden Shogun is playing connect-four while Kazuha's friend is playing 4d chess. All part of the keikaku. or the guy just wanted Baal to step on him who knows

And his friend's wish is fullfilled by Kazuha....... who later withstood the Musou no Hitotachi of Raiden raiden shogun. maybe he can rest in peace finally.

please make him a playable character or at least give tomo more screen time!! so many people in the community adore him and love him so much. he is such an interesting and deep character and people would go crazy if you gave more scenes with tomo and kazuha. MAKE TOMO A PLAYABLE CHARACTER PLEASE MIHOYO

Kinda funny that Teyvat has at least 3 world leaders with massively different ideals of what a nation should be and Vision shenanigans both. Ningguang is going for a Civ commerce victory and has a Masterless Vision herself, the Tsaritsa is collecting Gnosis and has the whole Delusion thing going while being more conquest-oriented, and Baal is on her eternity Vision hunt pursuit and isolated Inazuma.
