I’m 31 and it still hurts 😢. Senior year of high school I was bullied by the friend group I was in. It was my best friend’s friends. I wish I would have had the strength to ditch them all and go alone, but I had no wise counsel about the situation so I didn’t know any better. Today I know that bullies are very insecure people and hate the light that you have. Jesus and many good people in the Bible were hated and ostracized, and that comforts me.

I'm currently going through a situation where two girls are bullying me and "recruiting" other people to join in by spreading false rumors about me, gossiping about me, and just saying really means about me like she's ugly, immature, childish, unpopular, irrelevant, etc. It's incredibly hurtful as I also deal with my own insecurities that make their words hurt twice as much. And to top it off, they're always finding ways to tarnish my reputation and it's hard to explain my side of the story because they believe everything those girls say about me. But, this video really makes me feel more comforted and hopeful that things will turn around for the better. Moral of the story: bullying is horrible. Don't do it to anyone.

Im 14 turning 15... My whole life I've been bullied like you say, since grade 4. Being a pre teen and all is like going into a new world. I was bullied for a big forehead and furthermore, I'm really dark skin. My so called 'friends' bullied me secretly. I thought I finally found a place where I belong but shock on me! I always had a bad gut feeling about them but I ignored.... Because of them I bullied other people who were just minding their own business. Until this day I regret what I did but I didn't mean it intentionally. But I thank God that I learnt from my mistakes. In grade 6 I moved into a Catholic school. Even though it's strictly religious, the students in that school..... They always comment on my body because even though I have a thin body, my stomach is gigantic. Normally I feel most confident with a crop top so.... yeah.... They call me a whore and a slut because I show my hands, chest, etc. Today I couldn't take the hate anymore. I thought no one cared about me. I don't have a friend so far. I'm used to it but sometimes I feel devastated that theres no one I can share my happiness and sadness. It was just today that I felt like to commit suicide. That's when I got this video and trult it was a sign from God. I'm not really open to my parents because when I tell them about my problems, it crushes their soul a little so I dont want them to carry all my issues. I just wanted to put it out there. There are too many toxic narcissists out there these days. If you are an EMPATH, narcissists are always going to try to come into your space. Stay smart. Being alone is painful. Thank you for making this video on the topic of bullying! Unforutunatly it's such a sad but common theme in schools all across the country. I myself was subjected to a lot of bullying in middle school and I can really relate to how you feel/felt during that time. But it makes me so happy to see that people are now coming out and talking about how bullying has afffected them and sharing their stories. I recently saw a case about bullying on social media about a girl {Aubreigh Wyatt} who unfortunatly took her own life and now her mom is trying to spread awareness about bullies and teen mental health on her social media platforms, which I applaud her for advocating not just for her daughter but for all the victims of bullies. It’s crazy that you got bullied this much because you’re actually so beautiful and down to earth. I feel like we totally wouldve been friends if we went to school together. Also I never fit in either, I had my fair share of sitting alone at lunch. It really can be devastating not having the positive highschool experience you’re always promised growing up, and never finding a friend group that you grow up with or eventually have at your wedding.

I was bullied from 3rd to 8th grade by a specific person. I moved away and haven't seen or talked to her. But I saw her outside a resturaunt a couple nights ago for the first time in years. Seeing her face just made me so angry I was shaking, and I right away broke down in the car. It was like ptsd. Just seeing her outside triggered something. I don't know how to get past this and move on. I've been told "You're better than her. Don't waste your time dwelling on it," stuff like that. But it was a whole five years of constant crying. i know this was posted awhile ago, but i just want to say thank you so much spencer. i always feel like i'm the only teenager who doesn't go out on weekends and is more often than not alone due to all of the post i see of everyone in their big group of friends going on vacation together and overall celebrating life with each other. i've been friends with a group of girls since 5th grade and have watched the friend group expand into what is now. i've noticed some of the girls i've been close with since 2015 slowly drift away from me without really understanding why. i've seen my "friends" plan fun activities to do together without including me right in front of me. i've seen my siblings have the social life i've longed for and have never felt so alienated. however, this video has made feel me so seen and reading all the comments have made me feel less alone. thank you again for posting this video :)

People used to line up outside of my class so when I walked out they’d all laugh and stare at my forehead, made fun of me for being a feminist and activist (I’m from a very conservative small town), I was bullied for about anything I would do. It led me to the darkest place in my life very bad depression and anxiety….but I made it out and not everyone does. I started a mental health club at my school called Head Strong, and once again I got bullied for it. It is still my passion to end the stigma on mental health, end bullying, and spread awareness. I’m 18 now and graduated going to university to become a psychologist. These bumps in the road led me to the place where I am, lead me to be more empathetic, and find myself without any influence of other people. I am me and I made it out!! It means so much to me and every single one of your fans that you would take time to make an inspirational video like this. Even though I don’t know you I feel like I’m friends with you and I love you! This video has helped me a lot. I’ve been struggling with mean girls for three years now. I’m in 7th grade and like you said you felt, I’m depressed and I feel like no one cares what I’m going through and no one cares about me. But I know that I have people in my life that love me. Amazing Spencer! I loved hearing your stories of being bullied from Grade 4-now and how you've been able to bounce back from hate and bullying with so much grace. I've also felt like a misfit and somewhat of an outcast my whole life, I've experienced so much rejection that deeply affected my confidence and to this day is something I am still working through. It is amazing how quickly you were able to turn your mindset around, you never let the hate effect how your felt about yourself long term and you never let it stop you from continuing to put yourself out there, incredible.

They were definitely being jealous of you, I have a strong dislike opinion towards jealousy, I never allowed it happen around me, and what concerns me the most is that jealousy people are quite often very attractive in someways because we think they are attractive or they are very confident so we allow them to do those harmful things to us, which is totally wrong. No one should ever be treated so horribly that they think of not being alive, that makes me sick. I hope you never have to go through that again because you don’t deserve it. I am in 8th grade and going through the same thing, sitting in bed and crying is the only thing that makes me feel better sometimes.
