This is one of the challenges I face as a photographer/content creator. People just think it’s only about pointing camera to shoot. not knowing the planing you have to do, coming up with creative ideas/ concepts, the time spent on postproduction, how long it took to learn, how much money and time you’ve invested in your craft. They just want to benefit from creatives with little or no pay. Rubbish!

I have a following of over 15,000 followers on instagram organically but my RU-vid is just a little over 1000 subscribers,the lady who does nails for me will be charging me and expecting me to give her a shout out,it’d just be annoying me😂,one day I bought human hair from a particular brand, I tagged them on one post and they didn’t even like the post 💀in my head I was like “ who send me?”,but for real people think creating content is easy,they don’t know how much work creators put in,this video has encouraged me to keep working hard,one day brands will look for me☺️

People don’t understand that a lot has changed in the advertising industry, brands are now moving from traditional advertising (which costs loads of money) to influencer advertising, it’s not just cheaper but it allows the brands reach their target audience faster. You guys add a lot of value o, let’s not even talk about the creative and mental work that goes into creating these ads.

Cost of living, house rents, jobs, public transit and anything you things might be worth considering when coming to Calgary Alberta.
