These new hairstylist be so unprofessional and rude for what. This is why so many girls are learning to do their own hair (wig installs, braids, everything). They fail to understand being polite and professional is just as important as the service
I literally hate the fact that the stylist kept saying “I posted I was sick on ig page”...... like girl not everybody may have been on Instagram that day to see it. Be professional and let them know what’s actually going on directly....

What took me out was that she put in her bio NO DMS, but was cancelling appointments via IG STORIES as if everybody just sitting around watching her IG. That’s so outta pocket snd unprofessional and people wonder why we don’t support our own people because of fuck shit like this. Kudos to you for maintaining your composure throughout the entire situation.

Yesterday I went on the stylist page and she was trying to justify it by saying that the site said the hair was included. Like no girl 1. You ignored your client repeatedly 2. You could’ve easily said “Refer to my booking site”
“Only 10 bad reviews” 🥴 babe… ONE BAD REVIEW is one too many. You should not want any of that negativity tied to your name! If someone does leave a negative review, the proper/best response is to address it and correct it. She is clearly all about the money and cares about nothing else. Smh.
@Hello Kitty That’s technically not how it works. You sent money to the person and cash app drafted the money from your bank account. The draft of money from your bank account to cash app was not on authorized or a scam, but the transaction that sent the money to that person was. Therefore, technically, it’s not fraud and you have to dispute it with cash app and not your bank. And you can’t dispute it with cash app because their transactions are final. That’s why scammers love cash app and most don’t take PayPal.
Rejection is a divine protection. She probably would’ve just used your platform for the “clout” and then started scamming your local black children..so that was God it didn’t work out. It’s sad when you try to support businesses and they give poor customer service..super trash. People are so money hungry at the time.
File a dispute claim with your bank❣️ but big ups to you for keeping your cool and showing her how a business owner SHOULD respond to a business inquiry.
Sorry this happened to you. Definitely read reviews because a lot of these stylists are broke and they have attitudes and they are highly unprofessional. I don't care how good they can do hair, I don't have patience to deal with these rude people. So sorry you had that experience.

I know exactly who this is and sis did the same exact thing to me 2 years ago ! 😭😂😂😂😂 SHE DOESN’T TEXT BACK! She was 3 hours late for my appointment, kept saying she was on 76 stuck in traffic. Then for my touch-up appointment she never responded to any of my texts then asked me to reschedule because SHE didn’t respond.
Very unprofessional ! It’s insane how she charged the girl for 8 braids when she only did 6. & charged the girl for a late fee when she was the one who pushed back the appointment! WHATS WRONG WITH HER

I wouldn't be arguing at all. I just call my bank right up and dispute. Did that once at a nail salon cause they did my nails BAD & bad customer service. My bank didn't ask no questions no nothing. Just gave me my money back. That's how these nail places and hair places win--- all y'alls deposits that you're too afraid to dispute. Afraid for what? Worst the bank can tell you is no, but they usually won't. Stop giving these girls free money!

When you block someone , as long as they have your official number they can still contact you from another number , that you don’t have blocked (unknown) it sucks but yes . Shawdy need to pack it up for trying you . You handled this situation very well and don’t worry you will be blessed .
It’s really a shame🤦🏾♀️ I literally just had a bad experience last week getting my nails done for my 21sr birthday🙄. The nail tech was 20 minutes late and then cut 2 of my fingers with the drill...never apologized for it and after leaving 1 nail popped off😳 I contacted her and she ignored me and I gave her 3-4 days to respond and she never did so I posted about it on my story Monday and guess who I hear from....bingo her😂 like uh uh girl how unprofessional. She then posted on her page saying some bs and then said sorry but again never said it to me personally even though she has my number...and proceeded to post saying why do people come so hard at blk nail techs.....I was like if anything I tried to give you a pass cause you were blk but it seems that it’s a common theme with many blk business owners which upholds the terrible stereotype🤷🏾♀️

Girl you should of paid her through pay pal and when she was like oh she ain't getting her money back you could of been like ha jokes on you cause ima bout to hit up paypal and let them know you a scammer you a fraud and pay pal would of for sure gave your money back boo!!!
im sorry this happened, since i can’t get my hair done by myself i request you should pay the person after you get your hair done because you don’t know what could happen. if they request the money before they/she/him, do your hair i prefer you not go to the place you booked your appointment to.☺️
Thanks for sharing. I have never heard of paying a deposit, so that maybe because I do not wear braids. I agree with you she clearly doesn't understand. I think so many folks try to copy celebs when they say, "thanks for the shout-out". But if you are working everyday--bad reviews are not helpful for you on any level.
