My first boyfriend in high school would play mind games & break up with me around every holiday. He wanted to do things but I wasn’t ready & stood my ground only to later find out some years later from him that he cheated on me! Guys🙄 And mermaid was foul, though that is very sad she lost her life so young. RIP to her.

the boys in my highschool used to hit me and my friends all the time. ill never forget how badly my arm bruised one time. and we were mostly out the way, quiet. never did anything to justify being hit at all. the boys were african and to this day i feel it was some type of self hate because they never used to hit the white girls (we were all in little ‘groups’) in fact they were quite cliquey with them
