Right I auditioned And got in and Started at seven twinkling tweens (which only had 6 or 7 thousand subscribers ) And I would get the most views out of all the girls. But the thing is I always wanted to be in SSG never made it tho. Anyway it wasnt like our channel to get trips that was for the biggest channels. But then he took one of the trips from the SSG and gave it to us and I hated it. When we made vids we couldn't blog or anything. And I quirlt after the trip it made me feel like a slave but since it was one of the small channels nobody noticed so yay. But yea if you dont remember me I was dynasty and was there for about 1 year so yea

Yes it’s true but a few years later I believe he moved it to eighteen because people got mad over it I auditioned in 2016 but never got the spot thank goodness
my cousin was on SAK and i remember we went shopping together once. she saw this very very very revealing shirt and wanted to try it on and i was pretty confused. she told me that the person ran SAKs (which must’ve been Ian?) suggested that she should wear more crop tops and shorts because they’d improve her ranking. at the time i thought it was because they were more in fashion or whatever but looking back that was NOT a good sign. I’m glad he’s in jail. I’ll have to call my cousin.
it would be super interesting to have kaelyn to make one of these videos. i feel like she was on the channels the longest and the most channels. i’m sure she has more information and experience
It’s insane to looking back at it from a different perspective now that we’re older. The rules we had, “dress codes”, and even most themes were inappropriate for a 50+ year old man to ask little girls to do. It always seemed a little suspicious, but we obviously didn’t want to think that way. That an old man would do that to young girls. The dress code was gone too far. I notice that the director was doing something suspicious to these girls. But the girls were always appropriate and they can wear whatever they want. I absolutely agree with you.

Any of you who watched Seven Gymnastics Girls may not know who I am because I had only had one video on the channel. Right after I got on the channel we did a meet and greet in Florida. My mom was super cautious because a man who was a stranger was running the whole thing, so she made sure I was never alone with him. I was always with my mom, or another mom, or Rachel. Right after we got back from the trip we found out he was arrested and that the SAKS channels were over. We were supposed to get reimbursed for the cost of the trip but we never did. And all the videos that we made on that trip were never put on RU-vid. Now Rachel started a new channel with a lot of the same girls. It's called Solid Gold Gymnasts. Some are from her gym but Yazmin, Carissa, Harmony and I are from different gyms in different parts of the country. I'm glad I was only on the old channel for such a short time since Ian was not to be trusted. The new channel is run by Rachel and the parents, and the girls have so much input and so much opportunity to be creative! And best of all, it's a safer situation!!!

I used to be a HUGE fan of ssg and sgg, I’m 17 now and I started watching at age 12, so obviously I did not suspect anything wrong about the channels. I heard about the scandal when it first came out in August and I was shocked!! It all makes sense and it’s very disturbing

i used to dream of being on these channels when i was a young girl, and my mom said she wasn’t comfortable with it. she didn’t know the way it ran or who ran it but whatever, and i thought it was run by the girls too! but i am so thankful my mom refuses to let me audition, thank you for talking about this. this is SO creepy.
I did to but I never adutioned because I dont have an intresting life and i knew my mom would say no bc of having to buy the camera and blah blah blah so I never did so I am so glad I didnt
I was on both SAK and SSG a looong time ago right when it started (2008-2010) with my brother and then alone on SSG. I'm almost 23 now but I remember it being super innocent at the time and I know the parents originally were super involved. Ian worked closely with some other lady named Roz and they both had daughters who were both on the channel originally and it all seemed very pure and run by the parents. I know my mom played a big role in part of it, as many of the originally SAK kids were very very young. But then when SSG was created, and all of the many other spin off channels it seems that it started to be run only by Ian and down the line got very twisted. Back when I did it getting paid by youtube wasn't really a thing and I only made 10 bucks the entire year, split between the girls. There were no weekly meetings or channel representatives, but we did get weekly popularity checks by email but luckily at that time nothing weird was suggested. It seems money got to his head and the fame of the channels. It's so sad to think something I remember so fondly of during my childhood turned so rotten.

Behind the scenes of SFG was not innocent or nice at all. so, Ian always told us that we weren't good enough for the channel and told us he only started these channels so he can get money. I think the SAKs channels started innocently enough with a group of parents deciding to create a collaboration channel for kids. In the beginning, there was even a baby and a 3-year-old for two of the days! Then when it grew and started to make money, the power went to Ian's head and revealed the worst in him. The meet-and-greets really worried me at the time, because they didn't feel safe. I'm so sorry to learn what people I genuinely loved and cared about had to go through. Ian is definitely a master manipulator.
@@EaglesMan710 well now it makes sense but other than that why would innocent videos like skits and cooking and routines be creepy? I mean I agree with your point but you can't generalise that much. My dad always loved filming the most random everyday activities because that's what makes life and childhood beautiful, so if a creative person wanted to do that it is not ALWAYS creepy. And I mean, boys are mostly not into following rules and being creative - not always, but MOSTLY. A lot of activities are girls only because it's easier to work with them and blah blah. Anyhow, yeah now it makes sense

@@pannaracz9292 Not just what Emily said, but also the fact that the girls' weren't allowed to upload their own videos. And in an articled I read a few weeks ago, someone mentioned how the girls' were forced to wear 1 size smaller than their actual when it came to shorts and swimsuits. Everyone kept wondering why Katherine and Rachael never wore bikinis while the other girls' had. And a lot of them said they're probably not comfortable wearing bikinis or short-shorts which is completely understandable. And the whole Skype thing is another huge red flag...In my opinion: for anyone who wants to start and/or create channels like that should probably set a time and location that can hopefully work for everyone that will be involved and meet them in person. I understand not all collab channels are like that, but I am aware some are.
Sometimes parents genuinely don't catch those things, but in this case I GUARENTEE they were more worried about money. These girls are their cash cows.

@@caprisanzari1959 absolutely!! It's not new - child movie stars, models, pageants, etc, and now youtube. There are so many sick parents out there using their children for money, and purposely putting these kids in horrible situations.
I was on SevenCoolTweens & SevenTwinkingTweens from 2010-2012 under the name Max (Don't ask lol, I thought it was a cool name) and I got a weird vibe from it near the end, even as an 11 year old girl. We had to choose a "channel representative" and whoever was decided on had to Skype with Ian and the other channel representatives once per week to discuss how to improve the channels. We were all 10-13 year old girls, Skyping with a middle aged man for as long as 2 hours... I am so sickened by it, thinking about it now. We were all so young that we didn't see anything wrong with it. AHHHH! I'm so glad that brave girl came forward and reported his behaviour so that he is never able to do something like that again.

Did anyone else find it funny how once you were a certain age, (I think 16?) you had to leave the channel because you were considered “too old” to post videos anymore??? It’s almost like this dude preferred a certain age group of girls to prey upon.. 🤔
I found the channel when I was twelve, and watched the channels extensively when I was thirteen and fourteen. At the time, the girls were my age. I couldn't see what was going on, and neither could they. At around fifteen, the girls on the SAKs were growing up, and around that time, I could tell that something was suspicious. I wasn't interested in watching teenagers act like bratty five-year-olds, and I felt that they weren't fully interested themselves. That's when I co-founded my own collaboration channel. I was certainly inspired by the SAKs' success, but I wanted to make sure that everyone on my channel would have freedom and were treated humanely. At sixteen and a half, I stopped managing the channel and passed it on, because I wasn't feeling it anymore. And, that's okay, because everyone grows, and nobody should feel the need to be committed to something for longer than they feel is healthy. Today, I enjoy making short films, news packages, and interviews. However, tying back to when I managed my own collaboration channel, little would I know that just seven months later, the channels in which I was inspired by closed down. Was I shocked? Somewhat. Did it feel like a blessing in disguise? Certainly. I could tell that the videos felt forced and repetitive. In fact, quite a long time ago, I unsubscribed from the channels, because I simply couldn't handle how forced it felt. Now, I am subscribed to a number of the girls' personal channels, and I noticed a positive change. They are free. Their videos are more creative. They can edit however they please. They can use more types of music (besides Kevin MacLeod, lol). They can interact with us more. And best of all, they are no longer puppets/objects, but human. And that's a beautiful thing.
Remember when Katelyn stayed on over the age limit, I used to think it was because she enjoyed it but im starting to think maybe it was because someone told her to?

When I was 11 I auditioned for SAKS. They invited me to join one of the channels, but I decided not to because all the girls lived on the other side of the country and I am busy with my afterschool activities so I didn't want it to be too much. I'm glad I decided not to join.
That's insane.. I was so into ssg back when it was good in like 7th grade (I'm a senior now) with all the old girls like kaelyn, jazzy, nicole, jenna, rachel and katherine, man I watched oceane too if you know how long ago I'm talking about. I just looked at the ssg channel and how these girls are so much older and its crazy how time flies.. But anyways, people are sick and creepy. I love this channel it has grown so much, thanks for posting this tea 🙌🏼
Same! I watched them back in 2013. But then I lost interest, but even as a 10 or 11 year old I still questioned why they all wore skirts and crop tops.
I started watching when oceane started but I lost interest when all the good people started leaving but I remember being really said because they were all really skinny and rich
I totally forgot about all the rankings, skypes, and minecraft haha. Its crazy to look back at how things were at that time. Obviously, I was a lot younger than all of you. Im sure we can agree it became less of an 'after-school activity' or 'fun hobby' and more of a job. I feel there was a lot of favoritism and whoever was doing the best got the most attention and opportunities, so they kept doing better than everybody else. But looking back now I still don't think there was anything we could have done to call out suspicious behavior or prevent the channels from ending altogether. -alexis (sct,sak,ssg)

I literally thought the SAKs channel were run by a different girl who didn’t upload, cos I remember on ssg someone said a girl called Emily sent out the theme of the week, so I thought she ran ssg. My childhood is ruined now 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🙄😬
I remember when Oceane left and she hinted at she thought the guy was a pedo but then she deleted the video. I thought it was soo weird st the time, especially since he wouldn’t let anyone expose who he was
llama squad she found it weird that she had to wear bright coloured shorts and skirts and tops because she only wore black and got told of if she wore that, she found it weird that she had to make skits and not vlogs and she found it weird that the person running it could not be exposed
@@kat101194 Yes, omg. It's literally disgusting. I remember when I was younger, I used to watch Seven Gymnastics Girls, and I wanted to be a RU-vid gymnast so badly. One day, though, I saw the nastiest thread of comments that started of with something along the lines of “I can't wait until molesting teenagers is legal.” After that, I was so uncomfortable that I stopped watching Seven Gymnastics Girls and threw away my dream of doing anything related to gymnastics.

This is so disturbing I used to be obsessed with the Saks channels I first started watching when I was 10 or 11. I am 16 now. I saw nothing wrong with the channels originally but I always thought that it was a little sketchy. When the article about it came out I was completely shocked. I can’t believe that someone would do this.

The only reason I found this channel was because of SGG, and through that I've been able to watch you guys as well as myself, grow up. Its weird to think of you guys as some type of family member, but I feel like I've been watching for so long that you guys are like a long time friend that I've never met. I have a story! I was on SevenTwinklingTweens a few years ago and when I got on, Gwyneth from SevenFuntasticGirls made a Skype group for a lot of people who were on the SAKS from different channels. I got to know a lot of the girls who were from the other channels and we had a big video call that was so much fun. But a couple days later the moderators of the SAKS found out about the chat and they had a huge discussion as if this was a serious offense. Everyone who was on the chat got in trouble and it was taken down. I still to this day have no idea why it was wrong to get to know the other girls from the channels. Does anyone have an answer as to why that might be? Anyway that was my story. I honestly look back and realize how strange and sketchy the channels were and that someone we didn't even know was running them. Ok bye

They were scared that you guys would make a separate channel together and that would be a big threat since you all were the stars on their channel and that the fans would follow you guys and that would take money away from them.

When I was like 5 years old I wanted to know gymnastics I watched seven gymnastic girls and tried and looking it up and this channel popped up and recognize the twins but I didn’t really knew if it was them but I now know that they were them as soon as they said they were from their I started crying 😭
We just happened across this video today. There is definitely a lot of information that needs to be talked about. I was on SGG for over a year until it was deleted. The SAKS channels being shut down didn't happen at the same time SGG was deleted. We didn't even know in either case right away that anything actually happened. TC2 did a good job with this video, it was nice to hear some viewpoints from girls that were on the channel before and ran into some of the same issues, Thank you.

This is crazy! We were original members of SevenSuperGirls (TwininiesProductions and we went by the names Sarah and Jessie). We were invited to join and remember enjoying our time on the channels and left after an older man created a video speaking about each member on the channel. We were alerted of this video by the SAKS channel owner and our parents decided with us that it would be in our best interest to discontinue our membership on SSG. Crazy that the channel grew so big and now it has come to this. Thank you for sharing your experiences!
omg i was 9yrs old when i started watching ssg (im 14 now) and then found out abt the whole saks channels, i remember i wanted to be part of it so badly but thinking back abt the videos ive watched from the saks channels, i nvr knew how many red flags there were .. omg 😳
I love hearing other girls’ stories on their experience with the SAKs channels! I was on SED for many years and then SFT right as the channels fell apart. I also made a video on my experience with the channels so feel free to check it out! The whole situation was really really weird 😂 I cringe thinking back on it
ok i never understood completely why kaelyn always beat all the other girls but i think it may have had to do with the fact that her room was so cool, she seemed rich and was cute & skinny. cause he actual content was kinda the same as other girls?
I think cause to the young audience her life seemed much cooler than the other girls, she had a fancy room and huge house and a dog and was homeschooled and pretty and went to the salon and had a unique name, like I remember feeling super envious and wishing I was her when I watched her videos at like age 11/12, the other girls’ lives and houses were much more similar to our everyday lives so I think that’s why most kids loved Kaelynn best
I’m going to pose a theory, but remember it’s only a theory so don’t take it as fact. What if ian saw Kaelyn aa his “perfect victim” so manipulated the views so she’s always on top, in a attempt to have that initial connection there before he made his moves (which didn’t happen thank fuck) Or a second theory ~ stuff was going on behind the scene, either he was getting payed or kaeyln is keeping quiet or something It could be one whole coincidence and people fell in love and she just brought in the most views. But it’s always good to question possible paths

I don’t know if you remember me but I was on seven fabulous teens and I remember Skyping with Ian all the type with other girls and even looking back now I’m older, a grown man Skyping little girls without parents being there , even that is a bit weird, like Ian never asked for our parents to be there during the Skype calls and we were all under age at the time, and I got kicked off pretty quickly because I missed a few videos and he was quite brutal about it , didn’t give me a chance etc , but yeah it is so weird to look back now that I’m older, like you can see so clearly now
They say "like" a lot because they're 1. probably doing this without a script and 2. a lot of memories are probably popping up/things are starting to make sense. It will happen when you ramble while trying to explain a situation like this, please quit complaining. :)

its also sad that she said that the girls also excluded Ashlynn when the whole situation started to unravel. She explained how she wanted someone to make her feel comforted at the time and all the other girls ignored her and refused to include her, in the video I could even tell she was trying so hard not to cry
