I think being already retired is a help, at least we are acclimatised to being at home and keeping ourselves occupied. Garden maintenance has been high on the list. Keep up the excellent walks & wanders, they are enjoyed and appreciated so much.
A tramp in the hills. Yes shame about the windmills. Right up until 1970s there was definitely a move to make Stowmarket’ modern’. And we lost a lot of ancient buildings, but a few remain. I guess Suffolk was littered with windmills so they weren’t valued. We had wind power all those years ago! 👍
I just moved to Onehouse few months ago and love it so peaceful here, stunning country side, having lived in Cambridge most my adult life with its boring flat features, outrageous over priced houses, rent and living cost not to mention its god awful traveler community of thieves and thugs, I never looked back.
New subscriber here, thank you for keeping me entertained during the lockdown! Certainly refreshing my knowledge of Stowmarket and have learnt a few new things too!
Yet another great video. I am sure you know why Cemetery Lane was renamed Violet Hill Road, which it joined. This took place when they built Wade House care home and they thought it might put potential residents off if it was one step away from the cemetery. !!
Conrad Freezer Haha! I didn’t know that. Another interesting nugget. No doubt I’ll weave that into a future video. Thanks for your encouragement. It’s much appreciated. 👍
