My FAVORITE parts of your videos are always when you stop after something has blown your mind and you just walk off muttering to yourself. Gets me laughing every time! The simple truth is that you just put both versions of this song on your playlist and bask in the glory of each of them when they come on. You take your pleasure and show your appreciation for each of them as the great pieces of work that they both are. I listened to B2M for years and I was fired up to hear HF cover this song when I first heard they were doing it. When I saw them live I thought they did it even better than they do in this version. You were speaking of expanding your exposure to and taste in music. Mine has been super wide ranging my whole life. I’m the youngest in my family so over time I picked up on music from my whole family and have only continued to expand on it ever since. ALL MUSIC BELONGS TO AND SHOULD BE APPRECIATED BY EVERYONE! Race, age and genre only matter when it comes to music to people with closed minds.

Rob - beard and glasses tenor Austin - second singer high tenor Tim - long black hair bass 5 octave range Chance - back right baritone and takes over bass when Tim sings lead Adam - beatboxer (swallowed a drum kit plus many other instruments ) one if the original founders Home Free will surprise you in many ways. You never know who will sing lead or if they will take turns. They don't have a leader they actually sing the song and they pick who should sing lead. They know how to have fun and make fun of themselves and then they can rip your heart out with a serious song and man the 5 part harmonies. Yes, the beatboxer can sing and sing well. I don't care what song they sing they sing, it is always better than the original. Home Free is that good. Tim, bass; Austin, high tenor; and Chance, baritone, are all from the south. I think they are the reason Rob found that soul deep down inside. Austin is from Tifton, Ga. When he joined Home Free , Tim had to translate what Austin said. They couldn't understand Austin. I laughed so hard I cried. HOME FREE IS THE BEST.

Hahahaha….loved your reaction AB. Home Free is so good. I just discovered them last year during the pandemic. All “a cappella” so no instruments and their beatboxer is amazing. They can all sing. When they won the NBC show the Sing Off in 2013 Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and he loved them. I think they wanted to do right by him. It’s so good and Rob was great in the lead. They also love to be silly but even though silly will sound so good. Try Butts Medley, Blue Ain’t Your Color, Helplessly Hoping to hear more great harmonies.

I love Home Free, but was not a fan of country music. There were only a couple country songs that I liked. But after I heard Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art, I fell in love with Home Free! I do not think that there’s a more talented group out there! Thanks for your great reaction!
Home Free is an exceptional group of great fellas. Each one is extremely talented. They were on the Sing-Off back in 2013 and they won. One of the judges was from Boyz to Men group. He was awesome. This is an awesome cover of the song. I don't know if you realize but they have been around since 2000. In 2013 they tried out for the last time to be on the show The Sing Off and finally got picked. That season Shawn Stockman from was a judge. And they actually won the season. You may want to check out the show to see how much they have grown. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction.

They were on The Sing Off. You need to do their version of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire from The Sing Off. Tim, the bass takes the lead in it. Also from the Sing Off watch Pretty Woman, Austin takes lead in it. Anything they do is worth watching so you can't go wrong. If you want to hear some bass watch Tim Foust and Peter Hollens do Misty Mountains. Tim blows out speakers at the end. It's only Sept. 13 and you already have 4500 views and 850 likes. That should let you know how many Home Fries there are and they are loyal.

Much better on the # of "Hell No"'s (lol). There are no bad Home Free songs. You need to do at least 4 more BEFORE you do Mayday. Six to eight more preferred. When you know the guys by name, then, maybe consider it. If you're a person of faith you really want to hear "How Great Thou Art". It was shot in the Austrian Alps during part of a European tour (yes, Home Free tours internationally). Example: They just finished a show in Australia (aka down under), caught the red-eye to NYC and got the call from DIANA ROSS to perform at her Birthday party in LA (translation: Another Red-eye after coming from another hemisphere / continent). I'm sorry Lady Supreme calls, you go. Home Free treats their fans like family (the kind you like, not the kind that comes for a visit and has overstayed their welcome (but haven't even arrived yet)). I've been told my sense of humour is a gift (the kind you hope a receipt is included so you can exchange it for cash and get something you really want). BTW I'm Canadian, we put U's after O's in a lot of things so humour is spelled correctly for me. Have fun with that rabbit hole.
