I was in Highschool,NJ,when this came out & Everyone Loved it. A few of the Brothers thought that White Dudes "Can't Listen to it" because its "Not For Us".... Those were the Black Guys that didn't know me, But I assured them that I Didn't give a F*** what they thought I should or shouldn't listen to. Then I'd Let them know that NWA has All Kinds of People at Their Concerts & Videos...and They Worked+Did Business with White, Spanish & Black People & It didnt matter- Because It Doesn't matter. That's one of the Points in the Albums message. Like so Many other Rap Artists like Grandmaster Flash,Sugar Hill Gang, Then Public Enemy, Ice Tea, BDP, Beastie Boys, Wu Tang... All of Them Were about Unity & Getting Along at some point & They worked with & Hung out with All Colors Races...... As long as you are Cool, You can Get Along with Just About anybody. I'm Cool therefore I listen.
“I just feel that I've got thousands and thousands of young fans that have to learn about what's real when it comes to AIDS. Like the others before me, I would like to turn my own problem into something good that will reach out to all my homeboys and their kin. Because I want to save their asses before it's too late."
When I hear this song, I feel like I’m watching a hero/ine or icon stand up in slow motion with the camera rotating around him/her ready for one last stand.
yeah but the original guitar(I think its a guitar) notes dont fit well with the keys. shouldve taken then out. Im a professional guitarist by the way so no hate to guitars hahaha
Great mix. Only critique is I would get rid of the scratching where Ice Cube says, "Straight Outta *scratch*. I would also get rid of Eazy saying "Compton" in between there. Make that part sound like the movie did in the ending. Now that would be perfect man.
