For anyone wondering what the song is, it's Deep Cover off the soundtrack to the movie of the same name, Snoop and Dre's first collaboration in 1992 pre The Chronic. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uo3rZjJB1hY.html
This is a movie. In real life Snoop's a bitch and was afraid of Suge's both Dre and him was Suge's bitch. He was scared shitless when Pac got killed and quickly ran out off Deathrow.
The first shot of Snoop Dogg walking inside the studio with his blue bandana hanging out and the Deep cover beat playing... What a great way of setting the tone off The Chronic/Death Row era. Just masterfull film making!
That Chit was fire cuh jus the energy it captured the walk the swag like everything about it was Crip and Snoop Snoop from Long Beach so he prolly never even seen a blood before if so not many in Long Beach that's Crip city
@@_j_o__ idk why you would think I believed this actually happened ? , its a movie scenes are loosely based on real event not all are actually how they happened . I'm aware I'm watching a movie lol
@@alexyancy6018 Realistically speaking, if you're in the rap game in SoCal, you know Suge Knight's name. That said, Suge is a notorious thug who gets violent over anything, from money to perceived disrespect.
@@ignaciogodoy7095 plus they all knew it was BS in the end anyway,so they made the right decision if only Suge knight would've realized that a lot sooner
Yep. They evolved as men because not only money were in films, commercials, etc but the audience changed once they did that and that decimal point was moving. In that environment they grew up in you had to think, either A) keep rapping about the gangster stuff and focus on music or B) make this money get my family out the gutter and reach platforms to where one could only imagine.
The fact that Snoop Dogg is now owner of Death Row after performing at the Super Bowl while Suge Knight ended up with 28 years in prison shows you how different paths of life leads to different endings.
Sadly this is why Suge ended up where he is now. Literally, a 1 billion dollar artist (Dre) and another 1 million dollar artist (Snoop) within 5 feet and his first instinct is to fight one of them. It's a case study in asset mismanagement of the highest order.
Snoop’s casual gangsta attitude was captured perfectly. Walk’s in a room full of big Bloods, including Suge. Suge says “who the fuck is this guy?” All 150 pounds of Snoop Dogg responds “Snoop D O double G cuz, who you?” Lol, show no fear and no backing down
Snoop wouldn't dare to this in real life. Those Piru goons Suge had were no joke, they'd stab a mfer in a heartbeat. Also they were shredded, always working out, AND they had multiple bodies on them, actually put work in for their set unlike Snoop...
@@GoGetYourShinebox Snoop would dare to do it. This nigga went on the airplane with these niggas when they took all his security on another flight knowing they saw him as a traitor. I doubt that he would have cared in the slightest, that and he was always in a high state of mind.
That's literally most people... it's quite annoying especially if you're a smartass like me and throw it back at em, and just watch them throw a hissy fit
I'm 5'10" and stood opposite him in an elevator in 2000 and he was towering over me! He looked like an NBA player. Kurupt, otoh, was right next to me and looked shorter than me. Tried getting Snoop's autograph but his bodyguard said no 😢
Blue flag wearing, long beach cap wearing guy going into a room full of bloods without starting something definitely proves the fact that Dre, Suge and Snoop always preferred business and music over other things.
Watched this movie and you can tell throughout the film Dre had a lot of say in how it was depicted. They portrayed Dre as being harder than he really was.
I wasn’t born yet during this time but every movie I’ve seen with Suge Knight involves Suge being a bad guy. Straight Outta Compton, All Eyez on Me, Surviving Compton, and that clip of him in Notorious. Damn, dude was a real monster
Catalist21 oh I know that. It’s just sometimes u want a deeper insight to how they were before that you know. This movie gives me insight because like I said I wasn’t even alive yet
Yes young lady, I lived my whole teens in the 90s. I'm not going to say everyone in the music business, but a lot of people feared him. Death Row was making a LOT of money back then, plus scaring other labels at the same time.
@@broajiq0838 because snoopwants to be the boss. and when pac was alive,, he couldnt. he also shown to be a complete hater towards anyone better than him. thats why
Tupac in 96 talking about Snoop - “I was too young to know what he was talking about, but it connected when I head Doggystyle. Cause that's the thing about art. It's just truth. It's straight -- whatever you feel. So, even as a 23 year-old, I could hear Snoops album and feel the truth."
The funniest part about this is Snoop walked in said hi, shook their hands and they gave a nice hello back until they saw the bandana. 🤣 "Hey what's up" looks down 😳
Y’all missing the fact that just because they was Bloods he greeted them as men and shook their hands and kept going. No issue with them and there to do business IS HOW A CRIP SURVIVED DEATH ROW.
T. Maximus Lol no it’s not the “NWA” Suge was played by R. Marcus Taylor & All Eyez On me Suge was played by Dominic L Santana. Two different ppl played the Suge character.
@@comment3952 There are so many people from Death Row who said the movie was false. There’s a police report that says Snoop ran from Treyvon after he got punched by him. Treyvon was the smallest of the Piru goons. Also Tupac fell out with Snoop because he got cold feet when the DR vs BB thing got too hot. Dre was never a tough guy, that’s been confirmed everywhere
Suge: “Who the fuck is this guy?” Snoop: “Hello, my name Snoop Dogg, spelled D-O-G-G. Pleasure to meet you. May I ask your name?” Suge: “So you have chosen death.”
Can you give me the link of the interview where snoop admitted that? Cuz as far as i know, he was a gangster when this scene basically happened irl and he wasnt a great named artist back then..
@@irfanfajri377 he might be from long beach and maybe even jumped in or affiliated but snoopy dog is not a gangster . Trey Dee definitely makes that clear and they were doing that east sider shit together . Snoops a shook one .
In real life he ain't gon be walkin up reppin it out like that and talk to Suge like that. This movie had a lot of bs in it, crazy they made scared a$$ people act tough 😂
As soon as we saw that blue bandana the whole theater knew who had entered the chat, straight clapping like the real Snoop had just walked in the room 😂❤
